Service and attention of staff was impeccable! We went there for our anniversary and they sat us very close to kitchen. It was a great experience and we’ll definitely go back!
One of the best meals I have ever had in the US or abroad (and I eat out ALOT!)Unique and yet simple, just great food and service. Dean Fearing came by to greet us and was down to earth with great recommendations. The way dining should be! You have to have the buffalo, it’s as tender as a prime filet.
Great business meal, all in my party were pleased with their meal choices and found something to their liking. Got a great recommendation from the Sommelier. We asked for a blended red and he offered two reasonably priced options. All in the party really enjoyed the choice. Staff were helpful and attentive. Ordered from the local ranch menu. Happy to know we were supporting a local rancher who supplied the seriously good Texas Wagyu strip.
Would recommend to others and would return when visiting Dallas again.
Thanks for a fine meal!
So great we’re going back next weekend
We each tried some thing different and we couldn't pick a best- we loved all 4 dishes. The biscuit and gravy appetizer was a meal in itself. The amount of food and quantity were well worth the price.
Anniversary weekend in Dallas.
We had a great experience. Our night at Fearing's was remarkable. From the wine selection to the amazing ribeye steak to the chef visiting our table. We were seated right at our reservation time and greeted promptly. The bar was packed and alive. The staff was warm and friendly. Everything about the evening was perfect.
This is a Dallas institution and a true classic. It'c clear that a lot of care and attention to detail was put into the entire dining experience, ambiance, recipes and wine list. Our only regret was that we waited so long to try Fearing's for the first time. We loved it.
Fearing's never disappoints. One of our Dallas favorites.
FANTASTIC as always. However, SO disappointed after not receiving my nearly untouched birthday dinner (full after my Farm to Fearing salad) that I requested to be boxed to take home. :(
Kids enjoyed dinner and the new dessert menu. Will always return!
The food and service was amazing. Chef fearing came by and thanked us for coming to the restaurant the co owner for some reason came by to every other table but ours which I thought was rude.
Outstanding breakfast....Dean knows southwestern cuisine! Gourmet dining at its best!
The food and ambiance never disappoints at Fearings @ the Ritz, Dallas. The antelope I had was terrific and my friend's snapper was wonderful as well.
The little touches, such as the Amuse Bouche from the chef and tastes of wine were a treat.
Still among my top 3 favorite restaurants in Dallas.
Very pleasant as expected.
Excellent dinning experience! The hardest part was deciding what to order and even get past the choices for appetizers!. Service and food as well as wine were fantastic from start to finish! And a special thanks for catering to our 6 year old daughter who thoroughly enjoyed her special cut filet with fries and carrot cake for dessert!
So glad to finally try for our anniversary. So rare to find a restaurant that focuses so much on the whole customer experience with creative dishes, added tastings that were complements of the chef, and little pastries to take home. We look forward to our return. Highly recommend!
All around incredible meal. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will return next time we are in Dallas
Here on a date with my Wife. The first thing you notice is the service. They make feel like a valued guest right away and it never stops. There are also lots of little extra between course treats like mini corn-jalepeno muffins and a snapper cerviche. The barbecued blue point oysters were awesome. The main course was inventive and even the rice in the jambalaya was aromatic basmati. Virtually every detail was done for excellence.
The host is very poor, no smile, he put while linen on our black clothes.
The service is very average, no checking if our steaks comes out the right temperature, we basically just received order and delivery service, or maybe I have higher expectations for a restaurant that belong to The Ritz?
The food kind of strange to me, two of our dishes all come with a side of fried taco?
It was a wonderful evening and Chef Fearing came by our table to check on us. We enjoyed all the dishes and had a great dining experience!
Was there for a quarterly business lunch. Fearing's always does a great job. Not just the food but also presentation was outstanding, per usual.
Fearings : Always special and well worth the "upgrade". Easter brunch was a limited edition of the "Best of....." with a few twists thrown in for fun. Food was exceptional and outstanding as expected. As good as it gets anywhere - or was I that hungry? Maybe a great deal of both. The talented personable chef was there as on site - but only briefly. Lots of families - but not too many little ones. Truly a memorable brunch.
Today we enjoyed Easter brunch. The presentation was beautiful & tasted spectacular!!
Dean and Paul made it a memorable evening.
Excellent dining experience. Fantastic service and great food.
Fearing's Restaurant remains among the best in Dallas. Phenomenal new spring menu, plus the addition of hand-crafted steaks, makes Fearing a place to visit. Wonderful food - exciting cuisine, and a outstanding wine list with some real values. Dean Fearing makes you feel comfortable and special, enjoying dinner and inviting you to come back. He cares that your meal is outstanding - as often as you go.
Wonderful experience. Sommelier made the meal with great wines and personal touch.
Fantastic experience -- food, ambiance, service! The absolute best representation of modern Texas fare and manners.
Our 3rd time there--NEVER disappoints. It's Dean Fearings gem, what more can I say.
Lunch was a great option, still the stellar menu and service. Can't wait to return for
a "just because" reason!
Fearing's is an amazing restaurant. I am always impressed by the food and the world class service. I will continue to celebrate our special occasions at this Dallas gem.
This is a favorite and an extra treat when Chef Fearing comes by.
I took my Husband for brunch on his birthday, the stuff was amazing, great food and fast service
We had an amazing experience at Fearings on Sunday for a late brunch. The food was delicious, which we expected from a Dean Fearing restaurant. But, what also impressed us, was the wonderful, attentive service we received from our 2 wait staff. They made us feel like we were the only people in the place (we weren't). Thank you for great food and a great memory made for our family of four.
Fantastic food. Great service. Wine selection is extensive.
Great, as I was celebrating my friend Birthday!
Wonderful, as always!
Was in Dallas for a long weekend and wanted a special place to dine for my birthday. Fearings was phenomenal! We started with the guacomologist appetizers in the Ritz Carlton Lobby. Scrumptious! Then we enjoyed the relaxing elegance that only a Ritz restaurant can provide. Amazingly innovative menu that Dean Fearing offers, with samplings of more than one meat or fish on each dish. Loved the caesar salad with the spicy dressing twist. Complementary bison appertif between courses sent from the chef was superb. Dessert with fried pie and apple gooey cake was the bomb! We had a lovely Texan red wine, suggested by the sommelier. A birthday remember at Fearings!
Fearings is definitely a restaurant worth going to. The atmosphere, the environment, the people, and the food make it all worth while. The Dr. Pepper Braised Ribs with the onions and the rice which I substituted from the whipped potatoes were actually really good and I would definitely recommend it! They also have a small complimentary desert, too. Overall, this restaurant is one I would definitely try and during lunch hours it’s somewhat quite so you’ll actually get to enjoy your conversation with the person you are talking to while you are there!
