Fearing's is one of our favorite go-to restaurants in Dallas- Chef Fearing always stops by to greet us and seems genuinely interested in making diners feel welcome! Great food, drinks, and atmosphere!

The food quality was great and the entrées were amazing. We ordered four different entrees and each were well seasoned with spices that complimented the meats it was paired with. The desserts were very good!!

Our waiter was very good, the overall service was outstanding. We were seated quickly and served immediately. The tortilla soup was outstanding and the strip tender loin steak melted in your mouth, the potato tot was tasty. The only disappointment was the filet mignon my wife had was tuff and dry. We will definitely come again.

This is what fine dining should be! Have been to others and this place sets the bar others should aspire to! From the atmosphere to the food to the chef coming out, everything was flawless. Will be back!

Lunch only. Of course had the legendary tortilla soup, still ably equal to its billing. Then had a hamburger so luscious as to be nearly orgasmic. Too full for dessert.

Everything at Fearing's is top-drawer. And always nice to chat with the ever-convivial namesake host as he makes his rounds!

Great food! Chef Dean Fearing came by said hello and we chatted about the dishes we were eating. Service was very good and there was always someone ready to assist our needs. Plates looked beautiful and the buffalo carpaccio was the best thing we ate all night!

I have been a long time fan of Dean Fearing since his early days at The Mansion. This meal was up to his very high bar. I also appreciated that he stopped by our table a couple of times to chat, the personal touch goes a long way and I took his meal recommendation. Who knew I liked beef cheeks? Loved the personal truffle gift box at the end of the meal.

Had a beautiful evening for Valentine's Day!!! Every course of the special menu was the best of anything we have had! The quality of ingredients and combination of flavors/textures were outstanding! Now wherever we go we will have to compare them to Fearing's! Also the red rose and white chocolate truffles as a parting gift was a very nice touch. The service was impeccable as well. Fearing's is now one of our "must return" dining experiences!

As expected. The “Dean” of the Southwest food movement now decades ago prepared a Valentine’s Day fixed prie menu that dazzled. Beyond wonderful.

Never disappoints! Beautiful presentation, amazing cuisine, impeccable service and a visit from the man himself, Chef Dean Fearing himself to ensure we were taken care of. He visits every table. Every time we visit we’ve talked to him. A Dallas gem, this is a fabulous place for a special occasion. We had the best Valentine’s Day dinner yet!

Where do I start? I made reservations with Fearings because I saw they had a great rating. I didn't know too much about it when we walked in....but WOW! First you walk in through the lovely Ritz-Carleton with a table of fresh flowers greeting you...who would not love that? Fearings is to the left of the lobby and as soon as you walk in you get hit by all kinds of imagery- Dark and warm- Trendy- Romantic-Homey... you feel like you were invited to the cool kids club.

We were seated at a table right by the open-kitchen which we loved. There is something about watching good food being created in front of you. We were immediately greeted and welcomed by a very attentive staff. Chef Dean came over to welcome us as well and truly seemed happy we had chosen his restaurant for our pre-valentine's day meal.

I just do not even know where to start. First we were served a goat cheese mouse - heaven melted in my mouth...no really! I love goat cheese- hubby not so much but even he loved this mousse.

The fresh warm bread was like my mama's with a kick- delicious! I ordered the petite filet with creamed spinach and hubby had the buffalo. Both of our entrees were cooked to perfection! You could have sliced my steak with a butter knife it was prepared and seasoned so well.

I did not have room for dessert but hubby had the banana pudding as suggested by our server. I do not even like bananas and I loved this dessert (ok i had room for a bite). Fresh bananas and the ice cream melded together to create magic!

I loved everything about Fearing's and will definitely be back. The entire experience made our date night very special. Even though it is a romantic place, it would also be great for business dinner's, friend get together's..they honestly have a good vibe for any occasion or no occasion at all. Loved it!

Had the duck dish. Meat was excellent with a nice wood smoked flavor. My wife had the ribeye, which was also very nicely done with a wood smoked flavor. The duck was on a bed of fried rice, which I thought was over seasoned and disappointing. I had the vodka based cocktail which was very good, slightly on the sweet side. Also had the $20 glass of chardonnay from Sonoma, which was very nice, but pricey. Service was excellent.
