Food and service were perfect.
Had a wonderful time. Service was spot on and took care of our every request excellently. Food was delicious and everything cooked to perfection. We had such a great experience that I decided to mark the moment with a wedding proposal. A night to remember.
The evening was really nice. We enjoyed the food and the staff was excellent.
Fabulous meal from start to finish, absolutely worth the price. Started the evening at the outside bar prior to our reservation- heaters and large fire in the outdoor fireplace made it very pleasant on a cool night. All the food was delicious but cannot recommend the brussel sprout appetizer enough- must get!
Food was fabulous and so was the service!
i was upset about my order, Steak cost me $82 but the taste is just ordinary steak, I ordered medium well but it turned out dry. I think the price of all menu or this restaurant too way expensive since there is no extra ordinary taste. Sorry.
Food and service are constantly excellent 👍
While Fearing’s is/was one of our favorite restaurants, the new afternoon tea service needs work. Some of the food selection was excellent, some was only adequate. The quiche seems stale and cold. The lemon curd was a standout as were the desserts. The tea itself was disappointing in that one cup had lots of leaves even though poured through a strainer, some were overstepped, some were not hot. The service was not up to Fearing’s standards either. I don’t think we will be back for tea. The new charge of $15 for parking is also a deterrent for future Sunday brunches.
Best wait staff in all of Texas❤️
The food was good but not great. Definitely not worth the cost.
Best restaurant in Texas and beyond? Everything works perfectly at Fearing’s.
it was my wife's birthday and the staff made her feel special
Beautiful restaurant - outstanding food, drinks and service.
Fearings was phenomenal in every way. The food was outstanding, the service flawless and attentive without being pretentious or intrusive and the environment was beautiful. A favorite spot for a great night out.
Great food and exceptional service.
The only issue I have is in regard to parking. I have no problem paying for parking, but I feel that $15 is way too expensive for to have lunch there. I believe $5 is more reasonable and would allow me and others to be a more frequent guest.
Service, food and atmosphere were FANTASTIC!
Birthday celebrations
Excellent food and experience. Staff and Chef Fearing were very Hospitable. He visited our table several times to make sure we were pleased with our meal. Seemed like he is very passionate at what he does and very apparent in his food.
Thank you
Lovely dinner for our anniversary! Dean came over and personally greeted and wishes us well. We will definitely return.
Fantastic. Dean is a wonderful host and the food is amazing
The staff was amazing and the food was outstanding. I really enjoyed everything. It was an excellent experience.
This was my second time coming to this restaurant and I would definitely come again the food was incredible I love that they had a vegetarian menu
Legit this was the best steak I’ve ever had. I had the tenderloin, hubs had the ribeye. It was incredible. The sides were amazing also. But beyond that, the food was amazing, Dean Fearing stopped by the table and gave us some really cool insight into the origins of the food. It was a really wonderful evening and We will do this restaurant again. It was wonderful.
Bartenders were the most knowledgeable I've came across. Food was excellent and service was also.
Fabulous food with attentive, professional and congenial service. The halibut over southwestern style rice and side of asparagus were truly exceptional. The restaurant also offers an impressive, varied wine list.
Wonderful service, lovely staff. The proportions were perfect and the ambiance is just what I was looking for. Can’t wait to visit again!
My family usually goes to Fearing's for special events and our expectations are high and up to this point there have been no complaints. This Easter Sunday, the concierge greeting us was super lovely and our server was inexperienced, but very nice. Chef Fearing came out as we started our drinks and was charming as usual. The menu read, "delicious," from top to bottom and most of it was. The first plate of scallops and home made ziti was fab, our entree was super heavy and the lamb was difficult to cut with the knives that we had. Everything on the plate was heavy and the yucca were cold and dry. The desserts were picture perfect, but the pot de creme was so sweet it was inedible. The other two pastries were lovely. The coffee was superb and so was the tea. Usually our waiter would have noticed if the meat were difficult to cut or that we left most of the food on our plate. He did not ask if everything was to our satisfaction. The company, however, was exciting and we had a very nice afternoon. I also loved the virgin mojito. So good. This was the first time I've ever been to Fearing's when the food and service were not outstanding.
That restaurant was highly recommended by our friends. But Easter brunch was overpriced. It wasn’t worth it.
Easter Brunch. Excellent service, delicious food. Happy Easter!
Easter brunch was good, though expensive. 3 courses, though the last one (dessert) was the same for all customers. Appetizer of fried trout and egg benedict was tasty and beautifully done, though the trout was bland. Entrée of halibut and corn pudding was very nicely prepared and tasted great. Desserts, though all the same, were excellent. Others in our group had snapper done Cajun style and a filet served with a lobster taco, and they were done quite nicely as well. Service was polished, professional. Fearing's hits the right note between fancy and casual. Cost of the meal for 4 people with a bottle of wine and tip was north of $800, so don't expect a bargain meal. Nice place for a celebration or special occasion. Mr. Fearing made the rounds, so that was a nice touch as well.
It was great to see Dean again and the food was amazing as usual!
This is our favorite restaurant. Before the pandemic craziness we went about once a month. We’re so happy they’re back up & running!!! The food, service, & atmosphere are always fabulous!!!!
Celebratory dinner. Dean and Paul never let us down.
We requested a tasting menu with a wine pairing. One 35 ml bottle was equally divided between 8 people for each course. Pairings were flawless. Amount of food and wine for the price was slightly lacking. We all left the restaurant and ordered pizza because we were all still hungry. Thanks for a memorable evening.
Perfection!!!
Good seating, great service...attentive and not bothersome. Happy with the total experience and very happy with our drinks and menu selections!
It’s always an honor to chat with Dean.

I enjoyed everything about our visit.
Fearing's never disappoints, the best Resturant in Dallas. Service is impeccable for the time you step out of your car until you step back in you car after an incredible meal.
I ate here as per recommendation from a friend. Was in Dallas to attend a concert (that was unfortunately cancelled at the last minute). From amuse bouche to dessert, an absolutely perfect dinner: tasty, beautifully presented and served elegantly. Would definitely go back if I’m in Dallas and recommend it to those who love fine dining.
Great experience from both a food and service perspective. Importantly the hospitality was spot on and extremely customer centric. We enjoyed our evening tremendously. Loved seeing the bar and Restaurant being busy. Hopefully will get back to sense of normalcy. Thank you Dean and the great team at Fearings for the consistency in the experience over so many years. Still making it happen. Will be back soon.
Birthday celebration! Thanks for your hospitality!
