Service of okay, food scenery where absolute… would definitely recommend to anyone and will be returning
Food was horrible and cold. All three entrees were truly horrible. And as always they had a gnat problem. Gnats were flying around our table while we tried to eat our cold food. Will not be going back anytime soon and that’s really disappointing.
I asked for a rare tenderloin with the sauce, it came out well done and no sauce and it died in the window. Waiter argued with me that it had to have been rare because it was cold in the center, I said it was cold because it died in the window and the fact that it wasn't even pink and was dry that it was in fact cooked well done. Same waiter forgot to bring my credit card back and when I brought this to his attention he said I was mistaken. After a 2nd argument with him he left and came back 5 minutes later with my card and wanted to give me a story about it. I know he wasn't trying to steal it, but the guy was mistaken again and was super argumentative. Some of the food was good, most not worth it. I won't go back. Very disappointing birthday dinner for my wife.
Fearing's continues to be among best restaurants in Dallas. Creative menu, great wine list, exemplary service - Fearing's is outstanding. Dean Fearing is at his best with items on the menu as well as specials each evening. Worth the drive.
Best Restaurant in town!!! Dean Fearing is Amazing!! And of course his personal table visits never disappoint!!!
Great place. Attention to detail is exceptional. Chef spoke with us.
We came for our anniversary, our servers were very attentive, gave good recommendations, and the food came out great. We especially liked the Tortilla Soup and the Antelope.
Enjoyed our Anniversary dinner. Our server, Martin, was quite attentive and helpful. Chef Fearing also stopped by to chat. GREAT experience and the food was AWESOME!! We’ll definitely return for another dining occasion.
What a wonderful culinary experience! The food was outstanding, the ambiance was great, and the overall experience was wonderful. We didn’t feel rushed, we savored each bite, and got to speak with the chef as he made his rounds to each table.
This is the best Chef in the world! Food is amazing!
It was a lovely breakfast. Food was good and service was okay. We could have used a slightly quieter space as we had an important meeting and were seated in the middle of the rood at a larger table than we needed. Otherwise it was a lovely place for breakfast.
Wonderful evening! Thank you for making our 25th anniversary so special!
Great food and place!
This was only our second vest to Fearing's. We visited when they first opened and really did not care to return. After all of these years we wanted to try again especially since we were staying at the hotel. It was lack luster. We were initially seated in a room that resembled a dinning hall at a retirement center and asked to be moved and were to a nice spot, however, it was noisy and no chance for any kind of intimate connection. The tables were wide, no table cloth The wait staff was very good and very attentive although the food came in record speed, felt rushed and it was an anniversary. My food came, the halibut, no more than 3-4 ounces at $52.00... the food on the plate was cold and the fish was still raw. The plate was hot but it was not enough to overcome the situation. They offered to remake which was nice, I asked for just more heat on it which they did. The food tasted OK...The bread selection and butter was outstanding, we appreciated that. I ordered a glass of red wine, it was warm...I just think a restaurant oft this caliber and charging these prices needs to get everything right and do a better job with the details. If you are a longtime fan you could probably forgive these details but they had a shot at us and they fumbled.
Excellent food and spectacular variety of wine
Our Wedding anniversary and first elegant dining experience since the Pandemic.
The wagyu tenderloin and wahoo fish were extraordinary.
The BBQ oysters and Caesar salad could have been a meal on their own. AND the Guava panna cotta plus banana pudding were ethereal delights!
Fearing’s continues deliver the ultimate WOW FACTOR!
The service from valet to dining was exceptional. We were greeted warmly the food was perfect and we had a great time. The owner Mr. Fearing even stopped by and greeted us and made us feel welcome.
The food was amazing and the service was so great. It was very impressive that the owner took the time to stop by and visit with us too. Great place to celebrate a special event!
Chef Fearing always produces a top quality product.
The menu removes true to its Southwestern theme with classic dishes still present.
The meat selections are amazingly tender and flavorful and the fish was fresh and beautifully prepared.
I love this restaurant. The food and drinks are wonderful and the atmosphere is great - friendly m, attentive staff that makes us feel welcome, not stuffy, attractive without having white tablecloths. Mr. Fearing came to say hello within 3 minutes of our sitting at the table. It was our son’s birthday, and on their own, they brought him a piece of cake with a candle. Was very nice. It’s our 3rd or 4th time eating there and it’s consistently good.
The staff and service are over the top. The food amazing. Plate presentations are beautiful.
It is a true dining experience.

the quality of food is unmatched and special. the menu is unique from other restaurants
Lovely meal as always. Service was a bit stressed but still very good.
Always a plus evening at fearings. They know how to do it. Every time a home run
I am a repeat diner at Fearings and it never disappoints. The staff make you feel special, and the food is always delicious. I am a vegetarian so I appreciate the special vegetarian menu. I like to go there for special occasions because the ambiance is so nice, yet it’s not stuffy - always welcoming.
We had a lovely evening while in Dallas for shopping.
a fun evening out, wonderful food, and a great patio with very nice music.
One of my favorite places!
The food, service, everything was amazing. A perfect place for a birthday celebration.
Amazing food. Tortilla soup was very recommended but had something in it we didn’t like that much. The rest of the meal was fabulous. Amazing service, amazing palette cleansers between dishes, amazing overall.
Wonderful food and service. Great wine list. Greeted by name, and a perfect birthday dinner. Thank you.
Excellent food. Very good service.
Great place. Elegant , great service..
Bring lots of $$$
Great experience as always!
While the food was very good (we had tortilla soup, scallops, halibut, asparagus and tater tots), the service was at best, okay. Hopefully it was just an "off" night for our server.
Great food, even better service. Seated near the bar so a little noisy
For being in the Ritz, the dining area for lunch was very average.. tucked behind the bar, it had a very stodgy feel to it... Food was just ok... nothing special on the lunch menu to "have to return for". Check out was goofy as the manager could not figure out how to deal with a gift certificate to Fearings... very embarrassing later to be cleared up with a phone call back because of unapproved charges to my credit card,,,, Not in a hurry to go back anytime soon and would not recommend.
We love Fearings! Actually had dinner last night for our anniversary and came back for brunch with friends and family today. The food was AMAZING!! Perfect balance and interesting combinations......just DELICIOUS! And my Lemon Drop Martini was probably the best I have ever had!
