Went for brunch. Had the crab cakes Benedict. I don't like runny eggs and asked the chef to make my eggs well done. They were awesome. My server was very attentive. I ordered a pomegranate mimosa, but they couldn't find any pomegranates, so they made a regular mimosa and comp'd it... then about 15m later, they hand me a pomegranate mimosa. They had gone out and found some pomegranate juice for me! I left very happy. The food is always so good. One of my favorite places to eat.
Three in our group. One of the dishes brought out was incorrect...ordered the salmon entree, but an appetizer was brought out. By the time the correct dish was brought out, the other two were already finished and the dish that was brought out was under cooked in an obvious attempt to rush it out. The service was slow...we had to ask for things from other servers. They were not that busy...we had a 9:30 reservation and servers were standing around talking to each other....more concerned with closing than serving. The patio bar was very nice after the meal.
The server seemed annoyed at any question that was asked. The menu was not what was expected as there was no potato side on the menu with just the meat choices. Seafood was in all the main options and i am allergic to seafood. My sister ordered her steak to be well done, when the rest of us got medium, hers came out the most undercooked, it looked raw it was so pink. When we told our server he was annoyed and just said okay. no manger ever came up to us but they did remove her steak from our bill with no apology or do you want a new one. For the price i was not impressed with this establishment.
I like Fearing’s on a whole, but this visit was a bit inconsistent and very rushed for a Saturday Holiday Lunch. The food was also off. I find dinner service fares much better than lunch.
Food was meh. Fancy names, fancy descriptions, mediocre food especially the pork Street tacos that didn't have shredded pork but unusually large chunks so they were impossible to eat like a taco. I've had better food at lesser establishments. I will say the service was impeccable and the staff was wonderful.
We eat out frequently and this meals tops any in 2019. The food, service, and ambience all were exceptional. The menu was inventive and perfectly executed. We just loved the pork rinds, grilled oysters and lobster/steak combo.
My favorite restaurant! Wonderful food and service.
Thanks so much for Mr. Fearing for coming to our table.
Everything was great!!
Food and service was fantastic, nice setting but very cold need to address the temperature issues as did ruin the evening.
Tk you soooooo much, my dad 50th birthday dinner was great, it was a little rocky getting everything together but it all turned out great
Had the plate of the day fish was overdone disappointing
Everything was fantastic. Best meal we’ve had in a long time!
We have historically liked Fearing’s however the Thanksgiving Day menu was disappointing. Our family of 5 barely touched the food. Very disappointing.
Food and service was amazing.
Fearing simply the BEST day in and day out. Creative and varied menu with great service.
Lovely experience from start to finish. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was efficient and given with great care to make sure we enjoyed the experience.
My dear friend lost her home in the tornado. I was looking for a quiet place to sit and reflect over a good lunch and was looking for a calm escape (treat) for her in advance of her upcoming birthday and Thanksgiving. It wasn’t very busy and we visited with our server and had the best conversation. We enjoyed not only fabulous food but a restorative recharge during a crazy time.
Fearing’s has always been a favorite of mine but this visit was very much of a disappointment. Service here is usually top notch but our waiter was so-so and did absolutely nothing to make our special occasion the least bit special. The gem salad I ordered wasn’t worth $14 and much worse than you get at a chain restaurant. The lobster bisque didn’t have much lobster but a lot of bisque. The entrees were just okay but no WOW that you expect from a this level of restaurant. There are so many great restaurants in Dallas and this one appears to be complacent. We won’t be coming back.
First restaurant ever to handle my dairy allergy with ease. They were non-plussed and served me an outstanding entree
Honestly, theres. nothing here that's
not good. You can't go wrong with any appetizer, main course, or dessert. It's all delicious and the customer service is superb!
Food was wonderful, the service was well timed & thanks to Paul our wines were delicious! I'm planning a trip back already.
Great food and great fun!!!
We loved our evening at Fearing’s. The food was amazing and the wine was a perfect match. The only glitz was we checked in and was told to wait. We ordered two wines and sat down. Twenty minutes later, we caught a waiter and had him check on our table. He came straight back and said our the desk had sent a text ten minutes ago. It’s very noisy in the bar waiting area so I never heard the text.
Chicken fried LOBSTER. Are you kidding me!!! This, served with a prime beef filet....heavenly! Can't even imagine how Dean & Co. come up with the outrageous offerings on the menu. Goal: have em all! Off-the-chart service from Michael and Brett. Memorable birthday dinner for my bride. Thanks!
We had a lovely evening.
This is a beautiful restaurant in the Ritz Carlton Hotel. My husband and I had eaten here before. We were celebrating two birthdays, our oldest son and a daughter in law, both with November birthdays. Everyone was excited to be here.
My only missing star was for my meal only and I can say that perhaps I didn't read the menu thoroughly as the lamb caught my attention. However, I was disappointed in the cassoulet and sausage part. BUT, I shared the oysters with my husband and really enjoyed them. I would be tempted to order that for a main course with a bowl of soup (you can see I am mentally planning another dinner). Our children loved what they ordered, several having the filets, one the fish, and another the quail.
Fearing's, located inside of the Ritz Carlton in Dallas, was an incredible dining experience.
The dining area is attached to an active bar area, but situated so that the bar crowd does not interfere with the casual dining experience.
The staff's friendly and attentive demeanor were over the top. This gives you the feeling of genuine hospitality.
Lastly, the food quality is amazing. Chef visited our table and was genuinely interested in our opinion of the entire culinary experience.
I highly recommend a visit to Fearing's if you're in the Dallas area.
Everything was amazing!
It was our first time dining there. The folks at the hotel were very helpful showing us to the reception desk. They were very courteous and sat us right away. We even had the honor of meeting the Chef when he stopped by our table to see if everything was to our liking. We highly recommend Fearing's to anyone looking to have a quiet night with an amazing meal.
Excellent evening from start to finish! We look forward to seeing Martin each time we return.
Hosted a special family lunch on Saturday afternoon and everything was just perfect!
Went for “date night” with wife, and it was excellent.
It was a perfect dinner. Food was great! Service was great!
Incredible food and service! Martin was absolutely amazing and provided us with great recommendations.
Fearings is a must visit every time in in Dallas.
Probably the best meal I have had in many years, with outstanding and gracious service from start to end! Thank you!
Third time at Fearing’s & consistently an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Exceeds expectations.
Loved the personal attention from our server as well as the chef himself. Ambience is perfect. Would definitely recommend and go back.
I always enjoy a night at Fearings. The service is always top notch and the food never disappoints. This recent night I was a bit underwhelmed with my steak for the first time. I had ordered a prime rib that just had some really tough tendons and what felt like excess fat. I don’t fault the staff for this, but I usually don’t have that issue. I also had requested more of those spiced cornbread muffins, was promised more, yet unfortunately didn’t receive any. I really don’t like to give the staff a hard time, so I thought I’d voice this here. I love you guys and I’ll be back another time for sure.
