Delicious food and great service.
The food was delicious. We had the steak with deep fried lobster-marvelous. We were celebrating our anniversary which was noted by the serving staff. We received a small pretty raspberry cake from the restaurant.
Service was attentive but never intrusive.
The margaritas were delicious-but we were shocked by the price-$48 for 2 margaritas!!!!
When we expressed our dismay, they were comp’d. A nice gesture!
We had a terrific dinner at Fearing’s to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They gave us a complimentary dessert with Happy Anniversary written on it! I had the Buffalo filet and the shrimp taco. My husband had the Waygu beef filet and Tortilla soup. Everything was excellent!
Came for our birthday and anniversary dinner with my wife: Everyone that greeted us was super friendly and very cordial. Food was excellent. Everything had great flavor. Wife had the scallops and she loved them. I had the buffalo tenderloin which was delicious. We also had the Foie Gras creme brûlée which was really good. We were treated to two desserts for our occasions. Over all great experience. Will definitely be back.
Impeccable service, delicious food, great wine list with reasonable prices.
Food and service was impeccable! Everything tasted amazing and they were so prepared for my wife gluten allergy constraints - such a nice treat! Chef Fearing came by our table and visited all the tables. Definitely a commitment to his customers dining experience being first class and personal. We will repeat when in Dallas always!
Outstanding, as always! Down to earth, friendly service with out of this world, stunningly delicious food. Their attention to detail without the normal Dallas stuffiness is unparalleled.
Incredible! Fearing's is consistently an incredible dining experience. The food is fantastic and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Fearing's shows great attention to detail which exhibits their desire to provide outstanding customer service. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Went for a special occasion with my father and his friend. We booked a quiet table in the gallery room. Food was good but the mains are perhaps too “complicated” for each ingredient to shine. Our wait recommenced a fanatic bottle of red that he was willing to pour a couple glasses rather than needing to get the full bottle as we did not want to drink too much. But it was so good I decided to keep the whole bottle. Overall a great experience. Pricey as expected. Beautiful dining room.
I may recommend but with hesitation. Our initial waiter was distracted. I was only after Jimmy started taking care of us that the service jumped to a level expected.
The food was pretty good but several of the dishes were somewhat greasy.
One of the best meals ever! The short ribs are awesome
We have followed Dean Fearing since his days at The Mansion but hadn’t been in Dallas for awhile. He remains at the top of his game and dinner was stellar. The staff were phenomenal too and our night was so special! A perfect evening!
We went for our anniversary and the service was the best part of our experience. The staff was welcoming and very attentive. They went out of their way to make sure the occasion was special. The food was just ok. The steak was the best part - and the dessert was decadent.
The negatives: Iwould highly suggest staying out of the main dining room - the noise from other tables and the bar was annoying. Additionally, while we chose to dress up some for the occasion, others were dressed much more casual (one couple showed up in workout attire - she was in a jog bra). The food was good in some respects, but much more adventuresome (I guess?) than my palate. Rosemary in my drink and some spice I just couldn’t tolerate in the spinach enchilada turned me off immensely. My husband didn’t care for his fish (dry and bland).
Thankful for cheaper (and better) options for dining out in Dallas.
Fearing’s continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Dallas. The service was excellent as usual. I had the fried quail appetizer with pork belly fried rice and it was unbelievable. Fried oysters were amazing. Cannot beat this restaurant for a nice meal out.
Just a wonderful experience overall.I didn’t even expect half the extra services that were offered during my encounter!
Fearings has done a great job elevating the overall dining experience. The service is choreographed liked a well tuned orchestra, seemingly hitting every note right on time and in tune. With surprise bites, starter, breads, main, and desert, each course is presented on a precise timeline that gives you intimate moments throughout the experience to enjoy your time together. Dean Fearing also takes the time to come out and work the room, a truly classic move in a time when most celebrity chefs are satisfied with having their name on the sign and reserve personal encounters for only a select few of their diners. Not Dean, every table throughout the entire restaurant.
Fearing's continues to be the best restaurant experience in DFW. The food is unequaled and very unique. This is the place you take clients or potential clients and/or your significant other for special meals (to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, business successes, graduations, or other events requiring a memorable experience). My wife and I love this place and, while we thoroughly enjoy many other DFW restaurants, this is our go to SPECIAL PLACE. I took clients there most recently on April 4 and everything about the meal was spectacular (and that is an understatement).
Love this restaurant from the corn bread to deep fried quality over sushi fried rice to hamachi collar and ending with gold leaf banana pudding -amazing . Staff were knowledgeable and attentive.
As always - FANTASTIC!! I have never been to Fearing's without it feeling like a special occasion. I have never been disappointed. Every time I leave Fearing's, I think to myself: "Best restaurant in Dallas" It's the truth!!
Always a great place to go and Dean never fails to walk around and check on everyone, which is a very nice touch. The food is always fabulous and the people watching is entertaining as well.
90ty Birthday Dinner
Excellent restaurant for a special occasion. We will go again.
Had a good experience, was a little dissatisfied with the scallop and king crab entree.
Great evening with AMAZING food.
The food was SO salty...even my salad was somehow salty and a bit inedible. Other bits were incredible though — like the chicken fried lobster that was on the salad & the prawn cocktail.
Fun made delicious. Very satisfying. Great room. Excellent staff and management.
As always, great food, service, and wonderful setting.
Wonderful service as always.
A little disappointed with the temp of one steak. Ordered well done, but came out uneven. Well on half and medium rare on the other half. Very odd. Server responded appropriately and comped the meal.
Brunch with friends. Great food and atmosphere!
Fro the moment we stepped into the Ritz Carlton, we were escorted to the restaurant and told how they had been expecting us. Such very special treatment, that continued throughout the evening. Being our first time, it far exceeded our expectations and quite honestly, I don't know why we haven't gone sooner. The food is unbelievable quality and amazing flavor; the presentation was impeccable and stunning from the beginning to the end. They served us a "pre-salad" which was delightful and unexpected, as well as, the "pre-dessert" which was so very special. It was my husband's birthday, so they surprised him with a special chocolate dessert which was amazing and a total surprise. We also ordered the Banana mouse egg which is the most incredible thing I've ever seen...when it came, it was so elegant and we gasped, wondering how we would even eat this beautiful piece of dessert art. It was as delicious as it was beautiful...which is sometimes not the case when art meets food. To top it all off, Dean Fearing came around to each table and made you feel extra special. He is a total delight, very easy to visit with and just topped the night off. FYI, my husband said his steak was the best steak he has ever had, and he's had a lot! It was an amazing and unhurried experience. Such a special night!!
We were initially seated at a table with an icy draft coming from the AC. The staff was helpful in moving us to a more comfortable table. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. The new Spring menu was distinctive and somewhat ambitious. For the most part, it succeeded with the red snapper and the buffalo w/ polenta. However, the lamb chops were unusually tough and needed more seasoning. The atmosphere was convivial and the meals were pleasing. A very nice evening.
Always high quality; service, ingredients, flavor. Best business lunch spot in Uptown.
The staff was accommodating when we had a late arrival for a couple of our guests. We were offered appetizers and our questions were quickly answered. Love this attention. Food was elegantly served, politely served and staff was attentive without hovering.
Lobster bisque was outstanding, the lamb chop was fantastic, the disappointment was the scallops on the king crab and scallop entrée. Awesome dinner regardless.
Was absolutely incredible
We started out with the crispy bbq oysters. Amazing doesn’t do them justice, they’re definitely in the top 3 of my favorite all time appetizers. For dinner I had the snapper and my husband had the duck. Both were delicious. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Dallas.
Excellent service! The prices are just a bit high due to the location in the Ritz Carlton. But, the food is so delicious and worth the experience.
Fearing's in Dallas is one of the few restaurants in which every time I have been there, the experience seems to get better and better. The service is outstanding! There is nothing I could suggest for improvement. The food is out of this world (I suggest the Wagyu Beef Filet!).
Our waiters and sommelier added as much to the evening as the incredible food!
We had a birthday dinner at Fearing’s tonight, and it was so wonderful. All of the staffs were very kind, generous and nice! On top of that, all of the food was amazing! I definately think that you will have the greatest experience at this restaurant. Food and people are all nice and perfect! Thank you Fearing’s!! :)
