Love the food always fresh and prepared perfectly! The staff is friendly knowledgeable and helpful. The view is quintessential NewBedford fishing harbor and I love it! Can’t wait to go back!

Had reservations for 6:30 pm but was not seated until 7 pm. With covid restrictions at 25% capacity it looked to me like they were well above the limit. Food was ok. Service was ok.

Nice spot. Food and Service was very good and the prices are reasonable, the only complaint is no draft beer, not sure why.

Amazing meal from start to finish. We ordered the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer, lobster mac and cheese, and haddock Mozambique. Everything was phenomenal. We will definitely be going back.

The food is great. We sat at the bar very safe partions between seats. The staff is great.

Our waitress was courteous and attentive. The service was quick. I got the steak tips and shrimp. My only complaint was that my shrimp was not good. The marinade was good but the shrimp itself was not. The steak was super good, as were my sides. My drinks were delicious as well. All in all a good experience. Just a little disappointed the surf wasn’t the good part of my surf n turf at a seafood place.

The waitstaff and food was exceptional!

This was the second time we’ve been there - random Tuesday night for a birthday dinner. They were able to take us in earlier than our reservation. Food was amazing again. We had the prime rib, steak tips and Oreo dessert. We had oysters and the little necks/steamers for appetizers which were delightful and the reason we came back as we were just taken there for the first time the weekend before. Getting everyone gift certificates here for Christmas it’s that good .

I usually eat here and have had no problem. I ordered the baked scrod and scallops. I ate the scrod which was good but then when I had one of the scallops it tasted very fishy. I did not eat the rest of them and brought them home. I was up sick all night. When my husband opened the takeout container the next day to have it for lunch, it smelled so fishy that he threw it out. They must’ve been bad.
First time ever I have been disappointed with the food there.

Appetizer (steak and cheese egg rolls) and dessert (turtle cheesecake) were delicious! Main entree (stuffed sole) not so much. I felt there was way too much of the stuffing and the fish itself was pretty dry. My husband had the steak and shrimp and noted that the steak tasted precooked and the shrimp was overcooked. If we go back, it'll only be for drinks and apps. It was very busy, but I felt our waitress did an amazing job handling all her tables.

Pan fried scallops were outstanding! Being from the upper midwest its hard to get good seafood. The combination of the sweet potatoe hash and the generous serving of asparagus was fantastic. Next time I'm in that neck of the woods Fathoms is gonna get allot of my dinner business.

The service was great as always and the food was delicious. I had the baked honey scallops which I absolutely love. The scallops was fresh and perfectly cooked.

The service is great along with the food. One of my favorite places to dine.

I throughly enjoy this restaurant. Never had a bad meal and they always accommodate special requests. Drinks are worth the price.

Fathoms was fantastic! We arrived early and were able to choose where we wanted to sit. After deciding on the best table, we were immediately greeted by a very friendly, but not intrusive, and efficient waitress. We had fantastic oysters and ahi tuna for appetizers. For main courses we all had the “honey” baked scallops which came with two sides. The food truly could not have been better, and the portions were more than generous. All and all the ambience, the excellent service and great food,all at a reasonable price, made a perfect dining experience. I recommend Fathoms to everyone.

Always have a good time at Fathoms. Good food, good drinks , friendly wait staff. Love sitting on the deck and watching the boats go by.

We’re dying here at least 3 to 4 times a month and bring our friends and they all love the place and the food see you again soon

Waitress was nice but service was slow. She took a long time to take our order and then it was very slow coming out of the kitchen. The food was delicious when we finally got it and it was hot. Our only complaint was the slow service.

My husband and I typically enjoy dining at Fathoms, we are somewhat regulars. Unfortunately, this was not the case this time.
Our server took at least 10 minutes to first come to our table. After she took our drink order, it took quite some time for our drinks to arrive. Unfortunately, my husband ordered Corona Extra, and was served a Corona light. I ordered a raspberry Mojito, it was very disappointing, I did end up sending it back. As we have been here so many times, we did notice one of the regular bartenders, who is excellent and makes amazing drinks, was sitting as the host for the restaurant. We understand times are different now due to Covid, but this was a very disappointing evening. We ordered six oysters as an appetizer, and unfortunately they were very watery, which they typically are not. Drinks service continued to be very slow. Luckily, when our entrées came, they were very good and as ordered.

Had a reservation and was told to leave without any notification. Employees act like you owe them something for being there. As a frequent business traveler I don't think I've ever been treated this rude. Abandon all ye who enter here!!

Great food, great staff! Loved our clams casino and Ahi Tuna! Seafood platter was the bomb! Drinks were generous! Thanks for a great night out and that bar seating feeling!

Excellent! They are very mindful of the social distancing. We had chowder/onion soup, appetizers: clams casino, fresh crusted sesame ahi tuna, and we had fried clams. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Awesome time and the waitress was the best.

We had a 4:30 reservation which we had to wait an additional 30 minutes for. However, the menu selection was great food fantastic. Beautiful view of the harbor!
