I had a great time!

Very noisy, not the ideal place for a double date setting. My fiancé started with the lobster bisque...it was actually a cup of lobster cream sauce, they don’t put lobster in it. My lobster Mac and cheese was awful. I took two bites, it had absolutely zero flavor. My friend did enjoy her crab meat stuffing scrod dish. Her date also enjoyed his swordfish. Personally, I wouldn’t go back for the food. Seems like it’s a nice spot for drinks in the summer.

Food & service was great as always. The atmosphere lacks some ambiance. Went for Valentine's day , was hoping they would have put a candle or maybe a flower on the table. Think we'll save this place to visit in the summer so we can eat outdoors.

My husband and I had an early dinner (3pm) here on Valentine's Day. We had delicious food, excellent service, no complaints! We both had the salmon with the red pepper sauce. Beautifully plated. The bar was beautiful. Looking forward to going back in the summer when we can sit outside on the deck. We asked for a table by the water and we were given a small table looking out on the pier and the bridge.

It would have been all 5 stars if the male host didn't seat his friends before the people who were waiting that had a reservation. Otherwise the food was delicious and our server was attentive and provided excellent service.

Our waitress was very pleasant and happy go lucky. I enjoy eating there and seeing her smile when we visit. She was very prompt when taking our orders .

Everything was great! From the drinks, to our app/meals, and the atmosphere! We will definitely be returning.

Went to Fathoms for our friends birthday. We had so much fun. Drinks were on point, food was nice and hot, none of the fried seafood ordered was soggy and to top it off we all shared a complimentary piece of Chocolate Thunder for dessert for her birthday ! Can’t wait to go back again !!

It was my birthday celebration dinner and my first choice was Fathoms. I get the same thing every time I go........blackened tuna with red pepper jam, french fries, and asparagus! Beyond Yummy! Can't wait for warmer weather when the outside deck and lawn seating is available again.

Good food and good ambiance

The food and atmosphere was pleasant. Unfortunately we had a speaker above our head and the majority of the time country music was playing. Unfortunately I dislike country music greatly and it made the atmosphere very unappealing and let the restaurant early... I know it sounds silly but maybe play a variety of music one or two songs are fine but 90% of the time is just not acceptable especially when you have a strong dislike to a certain genre. I don’t think a lot of people would listen to heavy metal or rap while eating either.

We all decided to come out for dinner since someone recommended the place. Unfortunately the service was slow we order soup and it come with our meal unacceptable. Some of the main dishes were cold another no no. The waitress was attentive but seem overwhelmed dealing with other tables. There was gentleman at the bar with a women that was obnoxious and disrespectful. Which was a complete turn off he seemed to be a regular customer. The food was good but nothing special. Would probably not be back anytime soon.

Dinner and service were great. Only complaint is that the tables were pretty much back to back. No space, and definitely not 25 % capacity as required.

Love the food always fresh and prepared perfectly! The staff is friendly knowledgeable and helpful. The view is quintessential NewBedford fishing harbor and I love it! Can’t wait to go back!

Had reservations for 6:30 pm but was not seated until 7 pm. With covid restrictions at 25% capacity it looked to me like they were well above the limit. Food was ok. Service was ok.

Nice spot. Food and Service was very good and the prices are reasonable, the only complaint is no draft beer, not sure why.

Amazing meal from start to finish. We ordered the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer, lobster mac and cheese, and haddock Mozambique. Everything was phenomenal. We will definitely be going back.

The food is great. We sat at the bar very safe partions between seats. The staff is great.

Our waitress was courteous and attentive. The service was quick. I got the steak tips and shrimp. My only complaint was that my shrimp was not good. The marinade was good but the shrimp itself was not. The steak was super good, as were my sides. My drinks were delicious as well. All in all a good experience. Just a little disappointed the surf wasn’t the good part of my surf n turf at a seafood place.

The waitstaff and food was exceptional!

This was the second time we’ve been there - random Tuesday night for a birthday dinner. They were able to take us in earlier than our reservation. Food was amazing again. We had the prime rib, steak tips and Oreo dessert. We had oysters and the little necks/steamers for appetizers which were delightful and the reason we came back as we were just taken there for the first time the weekend before. Getting everyone gift certificates here for Christmas it’s that good .

I usually eat here and have had no problem. I ordered the baked scrod and scallops. I ate the scrod which was good but then when I had one of the scallops it tasted very fishy. I did not eat the rest of them and brought them home. I was up sick all night. When my husband opened the takeout container the next day to have it for lunch, it smelled so fishy that he threw it out. They must’ve been bad.
First time ever I have been disappointed with the food there.
