This restaurant continues to operate on all cylinders. My wife and I have been coming from the West side of town for years for the high quality food and impeccable service.

My wife and I always enjoy dining at Farro. The food and service are consistently good and the wait staff is very friendly. In lieu of eating a dessert, we frequently opt for a tiramisu martini, a speciality of the house.

We went for our third visit to Farro. This is a very nice neighborhood Italian Restaurant with a nice family owned feel to it. The menu is great and the service is friendly and efficient. I recommend the mussels for an appetizer and my wife loves the salmon as a main course. The chocolate mouse in a jar is fantastic.

The food was excellent. The service exceptional. There were 10 of us and everyone loved their dessert selection. This was a celebration of my 78th birthday. Our server presented me with a double shot espresso containg one shot of grappa, which we had talked obout earlier. This was unexpected and a wonderful gesture.

This was my first time at Farro’s and it won’t be my last. The food is great, and their menu has a good variety of Italian food. I had the sausage and peppers over three cheese polenta, and my friend had the sea bass with Yukon gold potatoes. Both of our dishes were delicious!!! Martini and glass of Pinot Noir were great too.

Stopped for a Tuesday night dinner with friends and had a great meal. Farro is one of our neighborhood go to restaurants. The food is always good, the wine is reasonable priced and the service is always great.

Best lasagna ever! I know that lasagna isn't unusual but I was looking for homey, warm Italian food. It was very satisfying without being overdone with meat or cheese. My dining companions each ordered something different, including dessert and we all enjoyed our meals.

We are regulars, but we booked on Open Table this time, so another review is in order. It was fantastic as always. Everything. Food, Service, everything. Our table had all three specials, the pork chop, the sole, and the bucatini pasta. And I had the ever-awesome meat loaf. Great wine prices too.

We came in with high expectations but it was just okay. The bolognese actually reminded me of the Chef Boyardee sauce. I was not that impressed and will likely not go back

I enjoyed the experience overall. The menu seemed a bit limited for people wanting lighter fare. I thought the pricing was high. Since so many menu items involved pasta, and the fish dishes were notably more expensive, there just were not enough "healthy" selections. The service was excellent. It was just a little too expensive and there were not enou
gh choices on the menu.

We having been looking for a good Italian restaurant in our area. Had to drive 20+ minutes to get here, but it was worth it. Exceptional service, very good food (especially the wild boar ragu), good wine, cozy and inviting atmosphere. We will return for sure.

I was not impressed. I had high expectations because I had seen the restaurant had good reviews. We had previously tried to eat there and weren't able to since we didn't have a reservation. So, we made a reservation and planned to eat there to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I had the chicken parmesan and was really disappointed in the quality of the food. The breading on the chicken was soggy and tasteless and the marinara sauce was absolutely awful. It was pretty obvious that it came straight out of a can. My daughter had spaghetti and meatball with the same terrible sauce and a mediocre meatball. My husband had a creamy/cheese noodle dish that was actually pretty good. Disappointing though, since for the small number of items on the menu, you would expect a higher quality for each item. Not sure if we will return or not.

We were a party of three, and each of us was extremely pleased with our entrée. Absolutely delicious food. The bread basket brought before the meal was fantastic (especially the flatbread). A great value for above average food! The staff was very friendly and attentive.

My steak with Bernaise was delicious, likewise the fried mushroom appetizer. Tall booth backs help keep the noise level under control. However, each person who approached the table, and each time s/he approached, interrupted our conversation. Please just give me two seconds to finish my sentence before you speak.

Joined friends for dinner last Saturday evening. We were seated on time in a quiet location as requested. Three of us had specials of the evening-all different, one had the Chicken Parmesan. The salads were cold with excellent dressings. All of us very much enjoyed the food, the service and being together. I highly recommend Farro's for a casual, delicious dinner.

We have dined at Farro 3 times. Each time the wait staff was excellent. On last Saturday night, the hostess was excellent, she handled the heavy, eager crowd with aplomb and a smile.

THE FOOD
The first time, the white bean soup was so outstanding, that I came close to licking the bowl. Since then, perhaps there is a new chef. The soup is so full of black pepper that it burns your mouth and I could not eat it. Last night, we had the special and it should be labeled CRACKED PEPPER pork marsala. There were very big pieces of black pepper. One of the breads in the basket was also heavy with black pepper.

My friend ordered the chicken marsala. The menu did note that vegetables were included--unusual but we like vegetables. There was NO marsala flavor. The other member of the party thought she was getting eggplant parmesan. Again, she should have read the menu closely. It was eggplant with a giant portobello mushroom and heavy melted mozzarella.
