Farro Italian Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
It’s always special when the Chef walks through the restaurant throughout the evening to make sure his guests are having a good meal. To me, this is priceless. He cares about his food and his customers dining experience- that’s only 1 reason to go. There are several. Give this spot a try.
Disappointing Valentine’s dinner. To begin, we were seated next to the bar, no table cloth, no flowers, table too high, huge booth for just the two of us. I should have asked to be moved into the additional dining room since we arrived ten minutes early for our reservation. My fault for accepting where they stuck us. Dinner was rushed. Our entrees were delivered while we were still eating our salads, so we asked they been taken back and kept warm, which the server did. The entrees were ok, but nothing special. We asked for side salads and were told they only had their regular $8 salads, no small salads. Turns out, the salads were the size of a typical side salad with greens, one piece of tomato, two slices of cucumber and cheese sprinkled on top, $8. We were in, ate and out in one hour. Very disappointing overall.
Excellent. 4.5 Stars. Comfy, casual, Italian. YES, we would go back. LONGER VERSION: This is my 4th time to Farro's and it has become a local go-to place for casual - but excellent - Italian. At least 3 levels above Olive Garden but not quite at the Barolo Grill level. We had brought friends here for the first time and they are in the restaurant business. They gave Farro's two thumbs up each. SERVICE: Promptly seated by request in a table away from the main dining. We had an 8 month old in the group and did not want to disturb the other patrons. The little one LOVED the bread and the Linguini sauce. Yum. Our waiter was Maurizio - who was Excellent. Perfect combination of advice, friendliness, and attention for our table. FOOD: Italian beer on draft, wine, Sea Bass, Salmon, Clam Linguini, and Chicken Marsala. All Very Good to Excellent. The Salmon with capers and spinach risotto was Outstanding - one of the better tasting dishes in 6 months. Nothing left. :-) OVERALL: A nice casual Neighborhood Gem by County Line and Holly. Decor is old school but I would not change a thing. Prices are VERY reasonable. We had their pizza last time and it was Excellent. YES, we would go back - another very nice experience.
Amazing food and dining experience for me and my date. Mauritzo our waiter was exceptional and treated us like we were a part of the Italian family. He made some delicious recommendations. I would highly recommend eating here for a date and any other reason.
We eat here regularly whether its just us or meeting friends. The food and service is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. There are so many great items on the menu that its hard to have a favorite, but the chicken marsala and the salmon are our go to dishes. Plus there are chef's specials if you want to mix it up. Highly recommend!
This is one of our favorite Italian restaurants in the South Denver area. The food is excellent and we feel whenever a fish entre is offered on the menu it will be excellent. The wait staff can make a restaurant wonderful and these folks fit the case. They all make you feel at home are really friendly.
We have been to this restaurant several times now and I have never had a bad meal. I always get
the Sea Bass dinner and it is absolutely wonderful! Love, love, love it. Wanted to try something
different each time, the I simply cannot pass up the sea bass. It's a great restaurant, always lots
of people so would suggest reservations unless you get there early. Friends introduced us to this place and we have since recommended it to several more who have tried it and loved it.
