Solid experience good brunch happy hour but crowded. Make reservations!
Great spot. We'll be back next time we're in Philly!
Took my 8 year old granddaughter as part of an outing for her birthday. My burger was delicious; her grilled cheese left a lot to be desired, but there was french fried and chocolate milk. The service was great and so many people greeted her as we arrived and left. All in all not bad, but very very noisy at 2pm on Saturday.
It is imporrant to have reservations. Their food is excellent.
Best salad ever: the one with crab meat
Have dined here several times and have always had a pleasurable experience. Great food and excellent service. Very attentive.
Wait staff less than friendly, difficult to find and charged us for extra, but the manager was kind enough to refund the unnecessary overcharge. The food was mediocre and the noise level made it impossible to enjoy conversation. enjoy
I went with my mom to celebrate my birthday. We had reservations and were seated right away. The location was near the window in front so we were able to people watch and chat without bothering our neighbors or hearing their conversations. The server arrived almost immediately to inform us of the specials. He gave us a few moments to decide while getting our drinks. The food was tasty and not over portioned. I had the chicken and waffles; my mom the shrimp and grits. I usually have the Amish grits and sausage but wanted to try something different this time. The food is yummy. I loved that we were served within minutes and the attentive server was ready to remove our dishes when done. The food is adequately priced. I enjoy the ambiance; not too loud or oddly quiet.
Such a great find in Old City! Definitely recommend to anyone for a tasty brunch!
Nice location in Old City but food was mediocre at best. Didn't have the cocktails but they looked tasty. Skip the food and drink
The best bartenders EVER!
Food is consistently delicious. Was a bit surprised that the chocolate sauce covered dessert brownie was very dry today.
We all enjoyed our meals. We loved our waitress. She was knowledgeable and personable. Loved the Atmosphere of the restaurant.
When we arrived and sat down we felt very rushed by our male waiter. He seemed even more put out and dismissive when I asked if the bartender could make me a mocktail. Less liquor money for his End check I guess. If only restaurant could see there are a lot of people that don’t drink. You could add to the bar bill in mocktails. Our waiter was just not interested. I had to ask again if he could just ask the bartender for me.
When we ordered , he really pressed my dinner partner to get a protein in her salad. He was really hard selling.
My Caesar salad under seasoned. My fish over cooked. I ordered cappuccino and the waiter dropped it off, no sugar , no spoon. Unpleasant service.
Will not return
Had a better experience at brunch.
Food not hot and one half slice of bread not in keeping with menu prices. $8.00 for 2 meatballs?
First time there and loved the food. Glad we had reservations. It was brunch on a Sunday and it was very busy. We felt a bit rushed by our waiter (hence not 5 stars). Otherwise FAB!
Despite the favorable reviews the food was mediocre, cocktails were below average for Center City and our service person curt. Overall a disappointing experience. Cannot recommend in light of the many excellent restaurant choices in surrounding area.
Farmicia is our "go to" restaurant for before-theater dinners and it's always a reliably good choice. The food is fresh, creatively prepared and the menu offers a range of healthy options, which helps justify enjoying their delicious desserts. They have a good wine and beer list, and fun cocktails. The service is always professional and courteous. This is a great neighborhood gem, that clearly has a loyal following and a great, friendly vibe.
The service was awful! Our waitress was super slow and lazy. A table of 10 came in after us and got their entire meal before we did. The food was mediocre at best. The fries were the best part of the meal...
Great service and food was solid. Desert left us a little disappointed. The brownie was a little cold and the chocolate sauce did not warm it up. But because the overall expedience was super we went back for Sunday brunch and it was awesome.
Touring museums all morning it was a great place to regroup for the afternoon!
The food is always great here! It’s fresh and full of flavor. I love the casual nature of this spot, and I’ve never eaten anything that disappointed me in the least.
Interesting ambiance. Menu was terrific and food was very good. Solid value. Service was lackluster, unfriendly, and inattentive.
Had not been in years and it didn’t disappoint. Great dishes with vegetables as the star.
Easter Sunday brunch was fantastic. The usual menu was available and as always the food did not disappoint. Half price drinks until 2:00 for the Sunday brunch happy hour was a real treat. Farmicia is one of my “go tos” when dining out for Sunday brunch.
We had a great experience at FARMiCiA! It was a busy Easter brunch and the service was still outstanding. Great, farm fresh food and craft cocktails. Highly recommend.
First time here. Been wanting to go for a while. It was a great experience. I go out to have food that is better than I cook at home. Have a couple of drinks to relax, while I converse with the friends with whom I am dining. And i just want to get my food in a timely manner at the temperature in which it is intended to be eaten. Farmacia achieved all of this. Great food, great service and great environment. I can really ask for nothing else. Good value if you ask me!
Food was delicious and highly enjoyable! We may have just been seated near loud annoying people, because I found the environment less enjoyable. We may have just been there on an off night. Service was great and choices were fab. I would go back and try to choose a better seating option.
Loved this place! The food was amazing and the service was impeccable!
Outstanding service, wonderful atmosphere and many healthy selections on the menu.
Food is excellent with reasonable pricing. The “Tonics” are very good as well. Definitely would go back.
Farmicia is always good. Comfortable atmosphere - good, fresh food.
We are so grateful to have in Center City Philadelphia a restaurant with excellent food that obviously is focused on quality, variety, creative but also "comfort" food, choices of healthful food (but choices that allow us to splurge on calories), no corkage fee if you wish to bring a special bottle of your own, a good wine list AND one may have a conversation without shouting over music and loud customers. Thank you, Farmacia
We went here after visiting Independence Mall and it was a pleasant surprise. The happy hour was from 5-7 and ALL drinks are 1/2 off, what a great deal. I had one of the hand crafted tonics and it was very refreshing. The dinner entrees were all made with local sourced ingredients. The bread they were serving was from Metropolitan Bakery in Reading Terminal. This is a great place to go if you want to experience excellent food with local ingredients.
Everything was great! Our server was efficient, however he could have been a little more attentive. I loved the different food and drink selections. The Perfect Storm is delicious, I will most certainly be back.
The food and service were great. Highly recommend!
Farmacia provides healthy delicious food and good service to patrons.
FARMiCiA was calm amidst the storm of a busy conference. So many choices of food to love. Great, flavorful cocktails followed by a nice wine. Too full for dessert.
