Located in Philadelphia’s historic Old City, FARMiCiA is a quiet place to get something good to eat; serving lunch, an afternoon meal, a relaxed dinner & even brunch on the weekends. While FARMiCiA boasts a full bar, parties under 8 guests are also allowed to BYO Wine to pair with our farm fresh fare.
Excellent food, great service
The hostess was pleasant and sat us immediately. The location of the restaurant is perfect in Old city. The waiter was ok. When I asked him about the green apples on the tables he told me it was just a gimmick but feel free to eat the apple. The crab cakes were good and seemed fresh by the taste. The salmon was not seasoned and was very bland. The St. Peters fish pot was also not seasoned and was nothing to write home about. The sides, broccoli and roasted potatoes were good. Overall, we were not happy with the food. The bill came to $101 and we didnt even have drinks or desserts. We thought this place would have been better but it is disappointingly subpar. Unapologetically, we will not be back.
This is one of our favorite restaurants and it did not disappoint for a Mother's Day brunch. The menu is innovative and healthy, farm to table before it was popular. Always would recommend this restaurant.
Unfortunately the host had such an attitude when we checked in, it soured the entire experience for us. My kingdom for customer service to come back en vogue. Won’t be returning.
Wine came as soon as expected. Waited a long time for entree. Food was cold and needed to be reheated. Waiter was charming but seemed to have too many tables. Bread was never offered. Very disappointing experience. Have loved Farmacia in the past. If we come back will eat at the bar.
We throughly enjoyed our meal! It was a close walk from our hotel would def return here again
A very nice place....great atmosphere & food. Have been there for lunch & dinner at least 4 times. We are never dissappointed.
Busy brunch/lunch on a Saturday yet food was well-prepared and the server, while busy, was polite and attentive. We we're able to avoid waiting for a table by having a reservation through OpenTable.
This is my third time eating at this restaurant and it was delicious. I had an egg white omelet with, brie, and spinach.
a mimosa and Mexican coffee.
Chicken and waffles are AMAZING
Everything was good, the service was good. The only problem I had which wasn't a big deal is the outside tables are on such an incline, it made it hard to get comfortable.
Food was amazing! Vegetables were so delicious and the pork chop was juicy and tender.
One of my go-to places when dining with folks who would willingly call themselves picky eaters.
Sounds like I’m backing onto this compliment, BUT I love their food and the tonic cocktails are 💥💥.
Fun, delicious dinner with visiting friends before an #AtlasObscura event.
Delicious food, lovely ambiance, moderate prices. I will be back!!!
Wonderful experience! Our server was so friendly with our young children. It is surprisingly family friendly. We had an all around great time. The food and jalapeño flavored Bloody Mary were fantastic!
Always delicious and consistent food. Service is always great. And Happy Hour can't be beat - 1/2 price drinks. Brunch is excellent too!
This will be our second time at Farmicia. It was so good the first time we stopped back within 3 weeks later. Food again was on point, delicious. You cannot beat 1/2 price brunch cocktails and they also were delicious. We have found a new favorite brunch spot and can’t wait to come back to try some dinner options. If you are making reservations, request window seating. Big windows for you to enjoy your meal and people watch. Outside seating was available however it was raining when we visited last. Great job again Farmicia, both with food, and hospitality.
Love this place for brunch! One of the top brunch places in Philly!!
It was my girlfriend's birthday and the server was great. He saw our open table message and had a special dessert ready for us
Although the duck entree was very good, the salmon entree was way too salty to even finish.
Perfect service. Perfect portions. Excellent lunch spot
Good service. Good location. Nice atmosphere. Nice menu selection Food is adequate and some nice combinations.
Bartender was great. Waiter was a jerk. Food very nice, if a little uninspired.
Very pleasant restaurant. Food was good, as was service. Location is good. We will be back.
The food and service are great! I love the brunch happy hour. My favorite dish is the jumbo shrimp & grits- DELISH!
Good food, reasonable price, but noisy. would go back.
Love dining here!!! Love the tuna!!
Have dined at Farmicia several times and found consistent food and service quality. A mark of a good restaurant.
It's quite loud makimg it difficult to carry a conversation.
Great food and drinks. Arrived at end of happy hr so took advantage of half price drinks! Will definitely go again
Excellent neighborhood restaurant in the Independence Park area. It's a casual bistro with some excellent dishes, including a rare seared tuna and, for dessert, rhubarb strawberry shortcake. Veggie and vegan options too.
Three sisters celebrating two birthdays. The Spicy Mango Mojitas, a refreshing start. Fish entree and eggplant rollup, served hot, warmed us on this rainy day. Coffee and chocolate cake with ice cream and fudge drizzle kept us in a celebratory mood. Our waitress/ photographer was so sweet and accommodating. Prices were reasonable, especially after the 10% off if paying with cash. So glad we tried Farmicia.
Food as always was great. Service was extremely slow- we waited 50 minutes for a salad and a sandwich.
We had a fabulous brunch. The coffee was excellent as were our meals. We enjoyed the atmosphere and found the service to be very good.
We have had the opportunity to eat at Farmicia several times now for brunch and once for dinner. All our meals have been excellent. We love the trendy cocktails and how many gluten free options they have! The servers and bartenders are all very friendly! It is fast being one of our favorite brunch spots!!!!
Tim was so attentive and helpful. We arrived 20 minutes early and were told we could not be seated because there were reservations ahead of us. We waited outside in the sunshine. Then people without reservations walked in and were seated. We were confused and concerned. Not a great start but the drinks were amazing, food outstanding and our server Tim made up for any concerns we initially might have had. A memorable Easter experience for sure.
Delicious food with nice variety....great service too!
Nice atmosphere, good food & good portion for the price. Service was good and courteous
We felt special and taken care of. Food was fabulous.
Easter Family Brunch
Wonderful, attentive service by all. The food is delicious and nicely presented.
