A few years ago we liked it here very much. Then, don't remember exactly why, we thought it went down hill and have avoided it for the last couple of years. We decided to give it another try and were delighted. Our reservation was honored on time, everyone was very nice (especially Julie, our server) and the food was better than I remembered. Our flatbread, cauliflower, beets & brie was outstanding. I really liked my BB pork chop and my wife was very happy with her beef short rib. So, really good food, excellent service by nice people. Oh, I also like that the credit card machine is brought to the table instead of handing the card out and having it disappear out of sight.
Great experience overall!
We were disappointed that we couldn't sit outside because of the forecast of rain. Our table was in a noisy section of the patio. But our food and service were both fine. The one annoyance was the way you were given your bill on an iPad at the table, with the waiter having already put in a 20% tip. Sure, you can pick a different percentage, but it is very awkward and made it uncomfortable.
The only issue that I had was that they were two of us and we wanted a booth. My legs are short and the chairs and inside cushioned bench seats are uncomfortable for someone of my stature. The hostess told me they were completely booked yet I had made a reservation. Also, the restaurant was 80% empty when we arrived.
I will say the manager and our server was phenomenal and made our meal awesome.
Farmer’s table is always one of my favorite local restaurants. I have always sat outdoors, and absolutely love the ambience. This was the first time I sat indoors. This was a completely different experience. Although nice, I definitely prefer the magical beauty of their outside space.
Great food, great service. I love this place even if it is a bit noisy.
I used to love this place but some of the interesting combinations are getting too way out and I found it difficult to find something I really wanted to order. I ate there once for lunch and once for dinner this past week. Both times it was extremely noisy--making conversation very difficult. The waiters were attentive but our coffees at dinner were barely warm. The red sangria, as usual, was delicious but it would have been nice to be able to order a carafe instead of a glass. I'm not sure if I want to come back again in the near future.
Food wasn;t too good. Fish was overcooked and my Pork dish was very tough
My favorite restaurant in south florida
Food was excellent and service staff was even better !
Great place! Will come back for dinner. Specialty drinks amazing.
this was a very nicely appointed space. nicely set up. nice background level of noise and music. Food was great. Service was great. Would definitely come back again
We celebrated our anniversary at Farmers Table. Our server was lovely and offered to taste the two wines I was deciding between.
The fresh pumpkin swordfish was delicious and my husband enjoyed the Raman noodle bowl with fresh ingredients! We sat in the terrace and enjoyed the live entertainment.
Nothing went right. I was in and out in 45 minutes. I was rushed. They brought out the main course while I was still having my appetizers. Dinner was not how I ordered it and cold. Not a great dining experience.
Absolutely one day we of the best restaurants in south Florida.
All good as usual, but hard to find a table where noise level is lower.
Farmer's Table will be my new "go to" restaurant in Boca! Had a lovely evening with live music by a terrific band called "Indigo Dreamers" on the outside patio. The specials were amazing, we had swordfish and bison meatloaf. Both were perfect as was our salad with mandarin orange slices, cashews and palm hearts. Service was attentive and atmosphere was excellent.
I appreciate the farm to table concept and the lengths that this restaurant goes to in providing cleaner food. We enjoyed our meal out on the patio. The main distraction of the evening was the volume of the entertainment. It was an acoustical duo that played great music, the issue we had was the musicians were very close to the tables and it forced us to talk really loud all night in order to have a conversation. Sadly, all the tables are clustered into one corner of the patio, so changing our seats in this area would not have helped. We could have moved inside, but we really wanted to enjoy a nice dinner al fresco. Our server was very attentive, we were out of towners catching up and she gave us ample time to enjoy our meal without rushing us. She recommended the mushroom goat cheese flatbread, as a starter, which did not disappoint. We each had different entrees: chicken paillard, salmon, spasta chicken meatballs. All were good. We ended with the blackberry cheesecake, which I thought was just ok. I would go back, with some strategic seating forethought.
Great lunch......so so fresh! Had lunch with friend I had not seen in awhile and we sat for a long time. Never rushed.
Food was very disappointing this time and I had gone many times before and it was delicious. The manager did change our dishes for 2 of my parties .
Love this place
Great service, knowledgeable and engaging staff. Consistent good food.
Sunday brunch was so loud that we had to yell to speak to our friends across the table. We were only 4 but impossible to communicate. Babies crying, children running back and forth, noisy confusion. But , our waiter was attentive and responsive to us. The food arrived hot and was delicious. The specialty cocktails also delicious.
We asked for a booth and got 2 tables before we finally got our booth 45 mins after our reservation time... Food was cold.....we asked for eggs over easy on our burgers and they were hard fried...come on even duffys can get that right guys....ive been here 5 times and 4 times were were great but the one time i bring my girlfriends parents sh** hits the fan without so much as a discount.....last time i ever eat here because of the embarrassment
always great food. They should have fresh squized orange juice. Also it took a while to get our waiter.
Food was good. Service was very good as well. The vegetable lasagna was just delicious.
Excellent overall. Our entrees were delicious and they were out to us a little over 10 minutes after we ordered. You also feel great about the healthy preparations with 1/2 the normal sodium of regular restaurants. 5 stars
The outside seating has been discontinued and we didnt know.I was never contacted via email
Not good service awful!!
Good quality food, a bit pricey. Make sure to reserve a table because wait times can get crazy
Excellent brunch- very good waitstaff .
If outside isn’t available go elsewhere if you wish to have a conversation. The noise is deafening- unpleasant while dining indoors.
Food was great but the interior environment was very loud. Had to yell across the table to talk to my date
i eat at Farmer's Table 2 to 3 times a week. I love it!
Wonderful menu, tasty food, great service, healthy options
good food server bit difficult to communicate with bit over priced
Have been dying to try it and am looking forward to going back! Healthy options that taste great!!
Enjoyed our meal very much. Dining with my elderly mother, background noise in the main dining space was quite high. Difficult to have a nice conversation over our more than 90 minute meal. Seating in the back near the courtyard windows is quieter.
Great food and service. Decor is outdated. Feels like an old 60s place. A bit pricey
for a vegen this is best resturant for them The birthday cake was outstanding, delicious and worth the money The potato leek soup was outstanding
