Horrible service, food took forever, then it was cold upon arrival, server was difficult to find, would take forever to return to us when we made simple requests...like sugar for our coffee, and our table was in the middle of the grass, high chairs were all taken, our table was away from the ambiance of the restaurant and had I know that was their plan for our large party, I should have been told that. Super disappointed for my cousin and her 21st birthday celebration. The manager did comp my husbands meal because it was cold, but so were other meals, we just didn’t have the patience to wait any longer, but given all of those issues...wish we had gone elsewhere and expected more from the reputation of Brian Malarkey restaurants.
Horrible service. Had to keep getting up and letting the server know we needed something. Completely ignored us. Had 3 dishes only one of them tasted good and had flavor
Great menu selection, great food. Lots of items I'd like to try!
Excellent casual restaurant. Great menu and excellent service.
The singer/guitarist was WAY TOO LOUD. You can't hear your own conversation, and it's Sunday brunch for Pete's sake. It's not a nightclub! Otherwise, love it -- been there many times.
I truly enjoy Farmer&The Seahorses. Great food, great outdoor sitting, and always a great place to people watch.
The host staff is amazing but for some reasons lately, food service has been slow for me. I was there with my company for my welcome lunch and it took about 46 minutes to received our lunch and my boss had to eat and run since he had a meeting. I place an order to go and they took me to pick it up in 15 minutes. I gave it 20 minutes and then walk over. It took another 13 minutes for me to get my food, which I didn't understand. I was just there on 11/14/18 with three of my friends, and our food took about 36 minutes for it to come out which my friend was not happy.
All in all, I think like Farmer&Seahorse minus the food delay sometime.
Thanks for reading. :)
Decent food, this is my second time visiting and the service is terribly slow.
Un Lugar y concepto increíble
The service is terrible. What a shame. We’ve been there 4 times and every time the service is dismal. There’s no other place like that so they are comfortable and take advantage of that fact.
My turkey sandwhich was yummy & olive oil cake, too!
I really liked the restaurant, but the noise from the jets! It was deafening.
Super slow service
Parking was busy as you were hosting an event. Hadn’t sat in the patio previously. It’s a lovely setting but there were a lot of noisy military planes flying about.
The food was great, as always. I wish our server had asked if we wanted dessert. I didn’t pay attention and the next thing I new the bill was on the table. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday so I should have asked if she wanted dessert.
No biggy, I like your restaurant and will return again in the future.
It was a birthday celebration and notes on the reservation and yet the restaurant made no mention whatsoever. Also the ricotta pancake was dry, small and not as described. Very disappointing compared to the pancake that used to be on the menu. Services was marginal. Had to request waitress to refresh our drinks. Service and food has declined with each time we go. Don’t know why I would go back when there are others in area to choose from.
Loved the vibe and the hamburgers here. Cocktails were just ok. Pricey cocktails in my opinion. However, the service was completely lacking. It was clear that they had way too few servers working for a Friday night at happy hour. My drink didn’t arrive until after the food came. I ordered a second drink and I had to go up to the bar to get it myself, after eyeing it for a good 10 minutes, hoping someone would bring it to me. The place is cute and has a fun vibe, but I would really have to consider coming back here if I knew it was going to be a rush and there wouldn’t be enough waitstaff to handle it.
Food lacked flavor, drinks were weak, and waiter was barely present
Love F&SH for lunch. Most recent visit was for a meal before a concert. Menu is way to limited to call a dinner, but I get it—there isn’t enough traffic to sustain a full dinner menu. Smart business move, but probably won’t return for an evening meal.
Great for small groups.
First time here and we loved it. Food is fresh, service was excellent. Great selection of cocktails
Very good experience. All of the staff that we encountered were nice and helpful. The menu is a bit limited but there will be something for everyone. The place has a great vibe. We received a lovely dessert for an Anniversary treat! We will recommend Farmer and The Seahorse to others!
Our group went for lunch. We ordered the salmon cakes special (like crab cakes, but crunchier), smoked salmon toast, and the king cobb salad. Food presentation looked great and all were tasty. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to visiting here for happy hour.
There were games available out on the lawn next to us, which added to the friendly, casual atmosphere
Only one minor negative - although it was nice to be outside on the patio, the sun still beats down through the openings of the shade sails.
My last visit here was a HUGE disappointment. I have been for brunch or lunch recently with family and friends and had delicious food and good service. However, I had a group of 6 visiting from out of state and I thought the patio would be a lovely California experience for happy hour. We waited over 20 minutes for our first round of drinks. The appetizers began to arrive before we even had a drink on the table. We were somewhat forgiving because we realized they must have had a private event going. However, the service didn't really improve over the whole evening. Food was okay. So bummed that I took my friends here. Still a cool space to go but if you see that they are having an event, TURN AROUND and leave.
Most of us enjoyed our meals. One of us had a new item, but it wasn’t a hit - it was a special pizza. Weather was great for outdoor dining. Too noisy to eat indoors. Great service. Gets busy at lunchtime.
Our first time here and it was delicious. Our server Spencer was great, answered all of questions and made sure to check on us regularly. Very pleasnt! Food was awesome and Spencer's recommendations were on point!
Creative and high quality menu and venue. Great service and unique overall experience ! Will repeat.
Great time for a Sunday Brunch!
Our server was wonderful very attentive. Nice to have a place so close to the golf course.
Great atmosphere. Food was pretty good but the service was not so good. Nit friendly or knowledgeable in the food.
Had a really nice birthday lunch with a group of women. Nice variety on the menu. Our server was great and did not rush us out of there. Loved the open atmosphere.
Love the place, but the singer/guitarist is WAY TOO LOUD. You can’t have a conversation with your table without shouting — come on, it’s not a nightclub, people!
Great service friendly staff and atmosphere. Menu has good variety and is tasty .
While I have great respect and admiration for our Military the noise from the Ospreys and jets can be a bit disconcerting requiring those outside to suspend conversation until the aircraft passes. Nothing that the staff nor creators can avoid. Simply a reality that might hinder those who need to have a continuous business conversation. I will try inside when or if that is a high need.
This is my second visit in consequetive weeks and I will return regularly for lunch with guests. Nice and proximate to my location. Another hit for Brian .
Waiting to be seated seems to be a challenge. The host/ess always seem to be confused, needs to be more orderly at greeting customers. The restaurant is great!, clean, good vibes. Live music is excellent. Food is very good (Farmers breakfast and crab toast, yummy!) games to play outside is great. All around great dining experience!
We had a reservation with the online note that we preferred an outside table. When we checked in, the host treated us very rudely, left us standing at the host stand, and never communicated that they couldn't give us an outside table. We were finally seated at an inside table, which was completely fine. The unsavory portion of our experience could have been avoided if the host had been more kind and simply told us that they didn't have an outside table. But, the host left us standing for over 25 minutes, and pretty much treated us as if we were not there. When we were finally seated, we found the food was good, our server was nice, and the inside table was great. As such, we would only go back to order at the counter and seat ourselves in some of the non-reservable couches.
Hadn't been here for a while, but arranged for lunch with friends. There was a special event going on, so there were no parking spots available--a bit of a problem. Also this place is a MUST for reservations, it gets really busy at lunchtime. The service and the food were wonderful. a few new items on the menu--Lobster rolls, Smoked salmon toast, Avocado toast--all very tasty and a good portion. it's a hidden gem!
Went to lunch with friend, we love good food and it met our criteria..Crab cake sandwich delicious and also the lobster open faced....This is my 4th time and enjoy bringing friends for the new experience..
Food was really tasty & creative. setting is beautiful. Great place to be able to sit & talk
This is such a beautiful place on a big, gorgeous property. Even with indoor seating, the open doors give it such a nice, breezy feel. Sadly, the service was nowhere near the level it should have been. We were a table of 2 seating in the middle of 3 large parties (10-15 ppl in each party) and a single server was responsible for them all. That is poor scheduling from the start. When our server finally did get to our table, the drink order was incorrect, the attitude was poor, and we were referred to as “babe,” “hon,” “sweetie,” none of which shoud be used to address a guest.
If they step up the game with service, it has potential to be a great spot.
The brunch menu is very limited. There wasn’t even an omelet. I prefer their lunch menu. Our waitress was slammed. It took almost 45 minutes to get our food.
Love the food just so noisy, hard to talk and we were in a booth
perfect for lunch with friends would highly recommend it
I ordered the duck confit and blackberry salad and it was outstanding. Great service, lovely ambiance, a perfect lunch.
We had a late business lunch (1 p.m.) and so it was not overly crowded, not too loud. There were 5 of us. The food selection was creative and everyone really enjoyed their meals. With the wide selection, the waitress was helpful making recommendations and answering questions. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The openness of the dining room to the outdoors was very pleasant. The fried chicken sandwich and fries with a side of greens was very tasty.
