This was a terrific mother’s day breakfast. Not a buffet, nothing over the top, just good food (I had quiche) and a nice alamode brownie to end! And champagne of course. Service was very good especially since this is early in the season and new servers are training. The manager was attentive and kind to staff as well as patrons. Will definitely come back.
The restaurant is excellent for lunch or dinner. Menu fine and service excellent.
Excellent service and great food at this unexpected location! The lobster roll was fantastic, as was the slow cooked cod! A great flnd!
Gaspacho was too tangy, coffee was cold but Marino brewed a fresh pot. The service was excellent.
Too much salt
Tepid food temps
Over sauced pasta
Limited wine list
Used to be fantastic. Did the chef change ??
My family vacations on the Vineyard every year and heard wonderful things about the restaurant. However, the main reason we chose this restaurant is because we read that the Chef is from Baltimore. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet her, maybe next time. I ordered the mango daiquiri, yellow tomato gazpacho, and the half duck. Everything was delicious. The warm bread begs you to have just one more piece.
The service was a bit slow. It took a while to put in our drink order once seated. All-in-all, it was a wonderful evening! I will definitely go back!
I’d love to see the cafe offer more everyday items in simple sandwich offerings from grilled cheese to tuna to turkey or roast beef.
The food is very good, but sometimes simple can be better.
Food was amazing waiter was great! General manager was a clown, could have made our expiernce better. Was there for my parents birthdays but he didn’t seem to care. I asked if he would tell our waiter so we could have candles and he told me no. So I asked Again and he acted like I asked for a kidney. But other than that it was great
Chef changed. A bit underwelmed by the menu and food the last time I had dinner there.
Server and atmosphere were good. Very expensive for the extremely small portions of food.
Staff is the best! Pascal the manager is wonderful. Loved the selections food. Wonderful atmosphere.
We were thrilled to secure a very last minute reservation during the busy summer season. Fresh, delicious and attentive is what I would use to describe my experience.
Lovely and quiet. A very nice place for dinner. They serve breakfast too.
Enjoyed a nice nice out celebrating two birthdays overlooking the golf course!
We returned this year after having a fabulous experience last year. Delicious food, great service, relaxed atmosphere. And, getting to see President Obama tee off at the first hole.
Food was good but service was slow however staff was very accommodating and friendly.
It was okay.
New chef this year, wonderful food, good service, easy parking
One of the best spots for lunch on the Island for sure. Priced right, nice menu, well prepared food, and excellent service. Can't beat the views of the first hole either.
A beautiful setting for dining on the Vineyard. When I made my reservation I also called the restaurant to say we would like a table in a quiet area so we could talk. We were seated in a separate, lovely room and it was perfect.
As always, Farm neck cafe provides a welcome respite from the crowds in season. The host is genuine in his desire to make you comfortable and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
The menu is small- but the food is well prepared and quite delicious.
The noise level is still high despite the new partitions separating the tavern from the restaurant.
We followed Chef Kate to Farmneck from RFD & it was so well worth it.
Our second visit to this excellent restaurant (first time, last summer). It was excellent the first time, and as good or better the second time. Looking forward to coming back next summer.
Wonderful food, excellent service and delightful ambiance for gathering. A bit too noisy for those hard of hearing.
We felt the food was overpriced and mediocre, and were overall totally disappointed. Our server was incredibly slow and we were there for over 2 hours because of it. He waited forever to take orders, check on us, refill beverages, and bring the check. The chowder was bland, salad underdressed, steaks were paper thin (and over cooked) with stingy sides, fried chicken came with a burnt biscuit. The charcuterie board came with 2 small pieces of cheese and some prosciutto...and that was the large board. Desserts were fantastic though!
We love it. It’s such s relaxed atmosphere and great food!
Service was fabulous. Salad was limp and soupy, dressed too early. Fish was good. Atmosphere was and is wonderful.
Didn’t know this place existed or could go if not a member, but it is one of the best eateries in the island for casual dining the food is fresh and the menu has a great selection of food.
Liked it much better for lunch. Food solid not outstanding, especially by vineyard standards
The staff was very pleasant and the butterflies on the budlaia were enchanting. Unfortunately the food lacked. The fish and chips were served piping hot, but the batter was heavy and oily. The reuben sandwich used processed meat which was substandard for the price. Excellent fries though.
Great food and ambiance!
Great food and great view! I would definitely return.
Definitely a hidden gem! Excellent food, lovely setting, EASY PARKING, even on Labor Day weekend. Had no idea it was open to the public and not a private club! I plan to return!
Went for a business lunch. Decent menu selections. Great service. Decent prices. Food was tasty, fresh and well presented.
The menu is diverse and the daily specials were excellent. Lovely atmosphere and attentive service.
We love the Farm Neck cafe. The food and atmosphere cannot be beat. Just my wife and I out for a vacation meal. Clean, great food, fast service. We couldn't ask for more.
With a little warning, the chef/kitchen was great at accommodating vegan dietary restrictions for half our group, and they were incredibly gracious about it, and careful to make sure the staff knew as well. Great, relaxed setting overlooking the golf course. Good staff, very attentive.
Great food and service. Comfortable surroundings. Excellent choice.
We had a lovely time on a rainy day. I was delighted to be able to make a reservation since it's so hard to get into restaurants on rainy days on the Vineyard. Food and service were excellent. Of course, the most exciting thing was that we saw President Obama playing golf!
Excellent meal with superb service. Not noisy and easy parking. Never know who you're going to see there in August!
