Loved the Menu with a combination of entrees and starters. Service was superb by Phillip. I always love the ambience.
The food was generally well prepared and savory with the following exceptions:
Chicken dish had way too much salt.
Cod dish was a little too bland.
We had a wonderful meal.i started with the asparagus starter which was delicious with a surprising preparation: asparagus seated on a large marinated portobello and gar kshed with fresh shaved parmesan in a light sauce. My husband had the pork loin which was perfectly prepared. My entree was the cod on a bed of Okinawa potatoes-exquisite. The cappuccino martini was excellent.
Upscale laid back. Great food. Love it. Go everytime I am at the Vineyard.
This was our first visit. We had a party of eight and requested a scenic view. We had a superb view of the outside deck and fairways. Delicious food, attentive service, and a well heeled clientele made for a very nice dining experience! We will return!
First time at
Nice for an informal dinner where you may not even need a reservation. Drinks were excellent!
Appetizers were awesome, 5-Star quality. Pasta, not so much. It was like Michelin Appy meets Olive Garden Main course. French Fries were delish as were all the Fish dishes. Overall, a beautiful place to eat and relax with friends & family. Just don’t get the pasta.
Farm Neck is a delightful place with friendly atmosphere and abundant parking.
Food for dinner was mediocre. Lunch is much better.
For the price of the meals served, the quality of the food should have better. There should have been more options for allergies.
Very mediocre food little value but beautiful place
This has become our island go to. The food is great, the service is great, the wine list is solid , local beers are on tap and parking is a non issue. All of this contributes to a relaxing meal.
Great staff. Great food. Beautiful peaceful location. Good place for large parties.
I really enjoyed my experience here. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very nice but not too formal, and everyone was very friendly. The only negative was that the service was a little slow at times. Otherwise, great experience!
Service, ambiance and food were very good. We were a party of six and everyone enjoyed their meals.
Attentive and friendly wait staff, delicious food and beautiful room and view. Get the asparagus and artichoke appetizer and steak frites, you will be happy you did!
We have eaten here many times for breakfast and lunch. This was the first time we went for dinner. The selection was somewhat limited, which is fine given that it’s a golf course. However the service was pretty slow. Some of our orders were incorrect. I would certainly go back for breakfast and lunch, not so sure about dinner.
We had a 6 pm reservation and they were already out of the Cod & grilled prawns. Very few options on the menu.
Thank you for your review. July 4th week is an extremely busy time for us, and a couple of items did run out. Unfortunately, we were unable to be delivered fresh seafood during the weekend. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will give us another opportunity.
A lovely setting on a beautiful golf course, service was efficient and congenial. The food was a bit of a disappointment small portions Especially the salad. I expect larger portions and better tasting foods. We’ll not be returning
Thank you for your review. We are sorry our menu did not meet your expectations. The only salad we have on the dinner menu is a Baby Romaine Caesar, and it is an appetizer for $10. Our lunch salads however are served as main courses.
We had lobster rolls with butter (amazing), the Beer Braised Chicken (huge and tasty) and the Pork Shank (melting off the bone). These were outstanding main dishes, and the asparagus/artichoke appetizer was excellent, though small. The only down moment was the dessert, a chocolate mousse that was so dense, it had the texture of chocolate icing. So it goes... A lovely meal in a very handsome setting, with attentive but not intrusive service.
One of the best restaurants on the island. Great food, easy parking. And you can watch the golfers!!
The atmosphere is nice and the food is very good. The menu is somewhat limited though.
When you’re spending $40 an entree, you’d expect them to not come out while eating $20 appetizers. When you look appalled by it, and don’t get a simple apology, you know the place is a joke. We had an amazing time on the Vineyard. This place damn near ruined it. The food was awful. Most of us spent the next day suffering from it. Highly recommend avoiding at all costs.
We are sorry you were not pleased with your dinner, and appreciate your feedback. We are a casual restaurant and our appetizers are $9-13 and entrees $18-39. Your bill, before tax and gratuity, averaged $38.40 per person with appetizer, entrée, and beverages. We apologize for your entrees arriving too quickly at the table. Unfortunately, when serving large tables such as yours(15), timing can be an issue. Our servers assure us that they were apologetic for your inconvenience. Best regards.
What a beautiful, pleasant evening. Our server was wonderful, the food was delicious and the scenery could not have been better. The light on the pristine golf course and beautiful foliage offered a tranquil setting for a wonderful dinner with friends. Highly recommend it!
Thank you Robert, it was our pleasure to have you dine with us!
This was a terrific mother’s day breakfast. Not a buffet, nothing over the top, just good food (I had quiche) and a nice alamode brownie to end! And champagne of course. Service was very good especially since this is early in the season and new servers are training. The manager was attentive and kind to staff as well as patrons. Will definitely come back.
The restaurant is excellent for lunch or dinner. Menu fine and service excellent.
Excellent service and great food at this unexpected location! The lobster roll was fantastic, as was the slow cooked cod! A great flnd!
Gaspacho was too tangy, coffee was cold but Marino brewed a fresh pot. The service was excellent.
Too much salt
Tepid food temps
Over sauced pasta
Limited wine list
Used to be fantastic. Did the chef change ??
My family vacations on the Vineyard every year and heard wonderful things about the restaurant. However, the main reason we chose this restaurant is because we read that the Chef is from Baltimore. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet her, maybe next time. I ordered the mango daiquiri, yellow tomato gazpacho, and the half duck. Everything was delicious. The warm bread begs you to have just one more piece.
The service was a bit slow. It took a while to put in our drink order once seated. All-in-all, it was a wonderful evening! I will definitely go back!
I’d love to see the cafe offer more everyday items in simple sandwich offerings from grilled cheese to tuna to turkey or roast beef.
The food is very good, but sometimes simple can be better.
Food was amazing waiter was great! General manager was a clown, could have made our expiernce better. Was there for my parents birthdays but he didn’t seem to care. I asked if he would tell our waiter so we could have candles and he told me no. So I asked Again and he acted like I asked for a kidney. But other than that it was great
Chef changed. A bit underwelmed by the menu and food the last time I had dinner there.
Server and atmosphere were good. Very expensive for the extremely small portions of food.
Staff is the best! Pascal the manager is wonderful. Loved the selections food. Wonderful atmosphere.
We were thrilled to secure a very last minute reservation during the busy summer season. Fresh, delicious and attentive is what I would use to describe my experience.
Lovely and quiet. A very nice place for dinner. They serve breakfast too.
Enjoyed a nice nice out celebrating two birthdays overlooking the golf course!
We returned this year after having a fabulous experience last year. Delicious food, great service, relaxed atmosphere. And, getting to see President Obama tee off at the first hole.
