Was in Napa and wanted to try Farm. The food was salty and honestly I felt sick after. I had the scallops for my main. I was not impressed and will not be back.
The place looks amazing, the food was excellent and the service exceptional. Definitely I will go back again and again
Outstanding food and service
We liked 3 out of the 4 brunch items we ordered. Not bad but $45 without at least one mimosa isn't the best value in my opinion.
A generally pleasant experience with a very good, innovative food and drink selection coupled with great attention to diner special requests by an outstanding and attentive wait and service staff. Sugar packets
brought to mind a highway diner A serious drawback to the total experience was the horrible music selection for the PA system. The music was unpleasantly monotonous, too loud, annoying, and totally incompatible with the warm ambiance of the setting. It was a major distraction from what could have been an outstanding experience. On a minor point, the restroom facilities were not up to par with contemporary standards for disabled patrons.
Our 6th Anniversary Dinner was spectacular.
Service was terrific and the food very good. We’ve been several times and We’ll go back again. My small gripe is that the prices are quite high, especially for wines.
Food was amazing along with the service. Desserts were unbelievable.
This restaurant was highly recommended to us. Unfortunately, even though the restaurant did not appear to be overly busy, the service was extremely slow and the food was disappointing.
The ambiance, especially if you can eat outside, is amazing. And romantic. And service, terrific. But this is our third, and last time, at The Farm. They care waaaaaaay more about presentation than food experience. Menu is very limited an unappealing. Absolutely do NOT understand the high marks except that the environment and ambiance are fantastic. We try to stay here all the time as the rooms cannot be beat. But The Farm...never again. Now the Boon Fly, that’s a completely different story. Highly highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.
Great food and great venue. Worth the drive. Would highly recommend.
I enjoyed my dinner at Farm, however, the seasoning on my duck was too strong for me. I am not sure duck is for me. Next time I will order something more general.
I absolutely love this place! Farmhouse Chic in Napa Valley. Chef Sean Streete is a rising star in the culinary world and his tasting menus never disappoint. Mike Gonzales, the sommelier, introduced us to an amazing Albariño, and our servers Ray and Ryan were attentive and warm.
So happy we decided to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary with the FARM family.
Great food, even better service and ambience.
Another great experience as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Service was exceptional, polite and informative. Each course was served timely and presentation awesome. Our 3rd dinner at the Farm and it did not disappoint. Hostess was awesome.
Such a beautiful place to dine! Customer service is top notch as well.
Great food and ambiance but bad service. Female Brazilian-born server had a bad attitude and did not want to be there.
Very disappointed as I have mentioned the day before the dinner about an anniversary celebration, n when I arrive. The receptionist ensure something will be done. Just 30 mins before the dessert. I asked again the with the receptionist n she ensure it will be done with happy anniversary on the dessert.
The dessert cane n that no word on it.
Seems like they didn’t care of my request.
If they cAn not do it. Then tell us. Don’t promise if can not delivery It. Very disappointed with the arrangement
Food was delicious
Service started well but about half way thru our meal they forgot all about us.
No one came close for additional water, wine, dessert, coffee...
had to ask for check finally.
Thought it would be much better experience.
This was our second time dining at Farm. We love it! The service is always wonderful and the food on point! Highly recommend. We will be back!
Love it love it.
Beautiful and quaint. The people were amazing as well as the food.
Recommend this to anyone.
Great service and excellent food
Overall this is a really great brunch. While it can be challenging for a party of 5 to pick 4 dishes, it's still a great time.
Let me just by saying the the food was very good. My husband and I shared the porterhouse steak for two which was cooked to perfection and the truffle mashed potatoes where amazing. Unfortunately the service ruined the experience. We waited a while to order our food and after it came we where completely ignored until someone came around to ask if we where done, while I’m still putting food in my mouth. I had to waive at a waiter from another table to get his attention to order a 2 glass of wine. I got the idea that the young girl that was attending to us didn’t want to deal with us at all and couldn’t wait for us to leave. We drove all the way from Alamo to eat dinner here and celebrate my birthday, even though my husband called the restaurant twice to let them know that it was my birthday, not one person acknowledged that it was. On our way out my husband and I had a conversation with a guy who introduced himself as the managers assistant, all he said was “I’m so sorry for your experience, call me and let me take care of you next time”. I don’t remember who he was because he gave us his first name and didn’t bother giving us his business card. This showed me lack of accountability. Although I like the food, I’m not sure that I would be eating there again, I’ll also share my experience with many of my friends that live in the area and often stay and eat there!
Went with my husband and it was a perfect. The ambiance was beautiful and service was great. They had live music in the evening which was awesome.
wife and I got sick after eating their sunday brunch. vibe was nice but food was not. will be following up with restaurant manager to discuss in more detail.
Delicious food, wonderful setting. Great service. Portions a little small.
The Ambiance is fantastic, service also excellent food presentation lovely but food itself not so great. Salads were wonderful. Main courses not so much! My Husband’s black cod was not cooked through. Squid ink on top detracted from the flavor. I had the polenta which was the consistency of porridge and the mushrooms on top were lukewarm. Prices were top tier but food quality was not.
We came for brunch. 3 ladies in 70-80's. Ordering was confusing. Did we HAVE to order 4 items? We ordered the French donuts, and then 4 other food choices. Way tooo much food. We did not want to order 4 more food selections. How does one order the amount of food you would like to eat? We would have loved to have the donuts and two other selections. Also, the 3 bites of pastry at the end of the meal felt like just more starch. 3 little chocolates would have been lovely instead.
We will be back...but need to know how to order from your brunch menu .
Beautiful venue, attentive service and the food and wine were fantastic!
Outdoor and indoor dining are both modernistic in a “barn” like setting. Service was great and the food as anywhere in Napa.
Chef's tasting with wine pairing was fantastic!
The wait staff were flawless. The food was impeccable. Would highly recommend!
Food was not good. Lack of flavor. Slow serviceeee.
Said there were no tables available outside, but there were clearly open seats the whole time we were there
We ordered a fixed price meal of 6 courses. The fruit was spoiled. The pork was all fat. Etc.
Raymond, our waiter, was a bit too frank in agreeing that the food was poor, but he did a nice job.
We dined indoors on a beautiful Sunday evening because we wanted to get to know one another so needed control of ambient noise, but the outdoor seating arrangements beckoned.
Started with pisco sours, quite good though I prefer a more lemony taste. Then we shared the garden said with wonderful contrasts of nectarine and feta cheese. The beef tartar came next and was well executed with just the right amount of avocado to give it creaminess. Finally the lobster risotto, chunky where necessary, always delicious.
We paired all of the dishes with a Brunelli di Montalcino, the caulky Italian soils allow this wine to pair well with almost any dish. The double espresso was adequate but lacked the aroma to make it good.
Beautiful restaurant and equally beautiful food. Great experience here
I had dinner at farm 5 years ago and it was superb. I went September 2019 and wow what a difference
Still great ambiance but the drinks and food were horrible and the cost was very high. Never again.
great for a special occasion or more upscale meal. the ambiance was romantic and quiet and service was fantastic.
Fabulous food, fabulous waitress, overall fabulous wait staff. Farm at Carneros is one of a kind.
This is my second time staying at your resort from Boston and those trips rank among my favorites.
