We have been here a number of times. My wife and I come back for the great atmosphere, incredible food, and amazing service. We always request to have our server be Ray. He is friendly, knowledgable and kind! Love this place.
Greta food and super knowledgeable server
Everything was great, the day, the service, the space and especially the food.
Best place in Napa and surrounding area to eat well and enjoy a good time.
Great food and I love how the brunch was organized
Farm at Carneros is a beautiful place with different seating areas-each with it's own charm. The food was very good but a little bit expensive for what you get. Our server was very good and gave good recommendations. I would go back because the overall experience was worth it.
The meal was fabulous. The service VERY slow. We arrived early for our reservation (to an empty restaurant) and were asked to wait in the bar lounge, even though their tables were all set. Our waiter exhibited an attitude of self importance but the rest of the wait staff was very amicable. After waiting 1/2 hour for our table to be ready, he sat us in a table for four in the middle of the room, instead of in one of the more cozy window booths. He seemed put off by simple questions about what was in one of their cocktails for instance. If I were given him as our waiter again, I would definitely request someone else. And if he were the primary experience, I would not return to the restaurant. Fortunately that was not the case. The food was superb, and beautifully presented. It's special restaurant and we enjoyed a long and leisurely dinner. A bit pricey, but well worth it if it weren't for the snooty waiter.
The ambiance is so cute. True farm to table. Delicious. Fun. Cannot say enough about it.
we ate outside so noise level low until several barking dogs arrived. Still, lunch was perfect.
Amazing restaurant. Great, quality food that was very fresh and delicious. Our waitress was very good and knowledgeable. Everything we ordered was perfect and as described on the menu. Very happy we found this place and have already recommended it to friends!
First time here and had heard mixed reviews. I thought it was fantastic. Amazing service and inventive dishes. There were acouple misses (burrata) but the tuna and crudo made up for any missed items.
Makenzie our waiter was amazing. The food was colorful and beautiful and delicious
Cool evening and put us at a table between the kitchen and outdoor patio. Very cold and uncomfortable. Door was constantly being opened. Table was placed very poorly.
We chose a tasting menu for one plus two a la carte selections. I would've gone with wine pairings as well had we not already been at wineries earlier in the day. It was a top four experience for me stacking up well against far more expensive dining experiences. I'd eat here again in a heartbeat.
Overall I had a nice experience at FARM. We came here for my parents' anniversary. All of the dishes we ordered were fantastic (porterhouse, striped bass, oysters), and they even gave us 2 orders of bread and some Prosecco to celebrate the situation. The reason I did not give FARM a full 5 stars was because when our waitress came by to clean our table, she asked if we wanted to box our leftovers, which we did. We had about half the porterhouse steak left, including the bone. She asked specifically if we wanted to pack the bone, to which we said yes please! However, when we received our leftovers at the end of the night, the bone was not packed into the box. When we asked our waitress about it, she apologized and said it was actually thrown away. Though it may have been just a bone, I was disappointed by the fact that the waitress had specifically asked if we wanted the bone, then neglected to ensure that it was in fact packed.
I was hesitant to book Farm for our anniversary dinner based on mixed reviews. But our experience was lovely from start to finish. We were warmly greeted and the friendly yet professional service continued throughout the evening. We sat in the main dining room which had elegant, but not overstated ambience. We had the Farm salad and the Burrata appetizer, both fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. My husband had the duck, which was great. I had the Aquarello Risotto with poached lobster which was delicious, but I think the lobster portion was a bit skimpy, as they seemed to be little bits and no chunks. That was my only knock on the evening. All of the dessert offerings are creative, but we only had room for one, which was their version of pavlova. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely return.
Everything about this restaurant was amazing. From the moment we were greeted to our exit. Entire staff is absolutely wonderful. My wife and I are looking forward to enjoying this restaurant again and again.
Always a decent dinner.
Loved the fresh, high quality food. I am very concerned about eating organic and I believe FARM is a good choice for this. The food was outstanding, beautiful restaurant and great service! I would absolutely return. Thank you!
A logical chain: perfect food in a perfect restaurant embedded in a perfect environment.
One of the best restaurants I’ve been in the US.
Best Sunday brunch we’ve ever had! The beignets are a must! Then 4 courses which you choose from a generous menu. French press coffee and cappuccino were excellent. Quiet and comfortable setting, with soft music and roaring fireplaces. If you can justify a $160 breakfast, go for it! Money well spent. And a fabulous shop, Coop, to boot!
We shared an incredible steak! The service was impeccable, the restaurant was beautiful. Couldn't have ask for a better birthday celebration!
The asparagus soup was divine. Our server, Solange, was top flight. A truly enjoyable evening—thank you!
We had a lovely dinner at Farm the other night. Both of us had the Roast Duck Breast which was delicious, also loved the Celery Root Soup and Roasted Octopus. For dessert, we shared a Pavlova.
A special dining experience in a beautiful setting. The brunch was creative and delicious, and I enjoyed the “family style” of the table sharing multiple dishes. Everyone was very friendly, professional and attentive. A wonderful morning.
Excellent all around. The service, food and wine are all impeccable.
We had a fantastic time and a wonderful meal at FARM. Our server was so friendly and helpful and the food was incredible. EAT HERE.
Fantastic Food and Service!
The room is beautiful but the food is just not that great. Mostly the meal lacked flavor and was disappointing. The candy bar dessert was delicious but the salad was meh, and so was the bass and the orecchiette. I would not recommend because it is too expensive to be so bland.
We absolutely enjoyed our experience and dinner at Farm. We have been to the Napa region routinely and the food here was exceptional. Comfortable, yet elegant. Great service and dining with attention to every detail. Definitely recommend!
Tasting menu started out nicely with the braised octopus. It's tenderized 3 different ways which added a char before braising. I'm not someone who orders octopus on my own but I really enjoyed this dish and it set a high bar for the rest of the meal. The ricotta gnocchi was ok... it seemed overcooked to me- very very soft, flavors were good, not amazing. I hoped for redemption with the pork belly dish. My wife thought the pork belly was on the dry side, I thought it was just too sweet with little hint of savory at all, which is hard for pork belly. Overall that pork belly dish was a big disappointment. The savory dishes did end on a high note with the strip loin. Curiously, they don't seem to cook it to order, they just cook everything to medium. However, despite not being asked how we like our steak, or being told anything about how it's prepared, the strip loin did turn out nice and the accompanying purees added nice flavor. The carrot cake dessert to end the meal looked amazing. It was made to look like an actual carrot with cookies crumbs to look like a bed of dirt. The texture and flavor didn't live up to the presentation. The texture seemed more like a cookie dough than cake and the flavor again was good at best.
It was a special occasion and I wanted to love this meal and this place. This was our first time back in years, and it will probably be years before our next time, if at all.
Farm is one of the best restaraunts in California hands down. Very friendly staff and even accommodated a spot for us on the patio with our dogs.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The sommelier found me my favorite wine after looking for a half hour which was much appreciated. Food was fantastic, wine was top notch and atmosphere was very relax. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Napa.
Couldn’t ask for anything more!
Service could have been better. Had to ask for beverage refills, missed items, etc.
Terrific food, great service, and an inviting country atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Excellent food, with excellent service for a reasonable price. Would go again
Over the top awesome!! McKenzy was our waiter and made our anniversary super awesome!
