Every bit of the food here, with only one exception, was of an exceedingly good quality, as was the service. But there is no excuse for not having fresh squeezed orange juice! Why scrimp on that? Weird. Also feel that there should have been some green salad offerings to take advantage of seasonal produce. This is California, after all, and it IS brunch! We look forward to returning. It was delicious.

Our party of 4 arrived at 5:30 pm (we were traveling to SF that evening) to an empty dining room and the hostess seated us at the only table with a full view of the open door to the kitchen. Of course, we asked to be moved (and were) but we were perplexed by this faux pas. Lack of experience, perhaps? Our server did not get off to a gracious beginning either, but he quickly recovered and we enjoyed the experience overall. It was hot 95+ day and too hot to dine outside and rather warm in the dining room. After being seated someone started to light the fireplace, which we promptly asked them not to do and they did not. The food and drinks were very good and the dining room is lovely. The rolls, bread and salted butter were constantly replenished. A delicious, creative amuse bouche was served, and lovely little desserts were complimentary. My "negative" feedback is only meant to be teachable for training purposes. We enjoyed our evening and would visit again. FYI: An obnoxiously rude man and his family were later seated at the "kitchen view" table. This time it made perfect sense.

We were staying at Carneros Resort on vacation and dined off property multi nights, however eating here was one of the beat meals we had in Napa. We loved the resort. Farm has a great outdoor “play area “ as well for bocce , lounging on couch by fire, etc. food was really good. Service was god too. We dare outside but inside was really nice. Can see into kitchen. Enjoyed it thoroughly

Far too many missteps for a restaurant of this caliber. We ordered 2 similar cocktails, but with different types of vodka, and they were both brought out with the same vodka. Why even bother asking us our choice? We asked them to wait a bit before wine was poured, but nope, started pouring right away. The server must have asked us 4 times in the first 10 minutes if we were ready to place our dinner orders, even while we were enjoying our appetizers, and the place was pretty empty. I understand preparation can take a while, but the entrees arrived quickly, so that wasn't the problem. The duck and scallops were excellent, but the lobster in the risotto was inedible. To their credit, they agreed the lobster was overcooked and comped my friend a different entree. I would return only to sit outside and have a drink. Sorry, Farm, wanted to love you! Gorgeous grounds and restaurant.

I took my best friends to dinner there to celebrate their birthdays last Friday. Started with great cocktails outside then moved inside for dinner. Would have eaten outside as well but knew I didn't want to share my focus and distract from the amazing dinner. Was beyond delighted with the tasting menu which myself and another guest opted for. The regular wine pairing was perfect.

It was over $600 for the 3 of us which, while it might shock some, I think was well worth it.

Headed back there this week with some other friends ;0)

Service varied between the inattentive and intrusive. When we arrived, we waited 5 minutes for a host/hostess to greet us, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Finally, someone arrived to seat us; asked us a series of questions about seating; then abruptly left. A second person arrived, asked us the same questions (indoor/outdoor seating), then finally brought us to our table. The food was good and well-presented. But as I looked the other way, a server snatched my plate from me without asking, even though I wasn't finished. The setting was nice and food good, but the service was amateurish. Don't go if you expect a restaurant that knows how to treat its guests properly.

We experienced the worst service we have ever had in any restaurant. First, the server didn't come to our table for almost 20 minuted. Then we did not receive our wine for 30 min, after which our food didn't arrive until an hour after we arrived. We had to ask for everything, including water. There's more but it's too boring to repeat. All to say, we were extremely disappointed and will not be back.

Went there for our 2nd anniversary. All staff extremely nice but something was wrong with communication. Literally every drink has to be asked 2X or more. Whether it was a cocktail or an ice tea. 4 course meal took over 3 hours.

Very disappointing. Mgr was working hard but he has to get us almost every drink. Was not a comfortable experience.

The food was inspired! Started with the little gems salad, it was good. The tagliatelle was delicious with lots of nuance. The piece de resistance was the duck breast, prepared perfectly with crunchy skin and tender meat. The quinoa side and sweet blackberry sauce complemented the dish perfectly.
The wines by the glass were varied and pairings were easy to make. Sampling was encouraged and that was positive.
Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. I shall return.

The ambiance was lovely and the setting very pretty. All the food looked good, but tasted bland and weirdly non-flavorful for the setting. The restaurant could highly benefit from a new chef as its gorgeous and staff was great.

Farm has become one of our favorites. We have dined here several times and Farm never fails to deliver !

We had the summer tasting menu that was just outstanding. Every dish was delicious and very creative.

Our server was really good - casual but professional- very pleasant young woman.

Great job!

FOR FUTURE GUESTS, PLEASE BE CAREFUL !!!!!! I choosed Farm restaurant for my partner’s birthday party and everything went great until 2 days later when I saw in my account that I was charged again the same amount I paid when dining. . When I called the management , they told me was the server mistake , his name is David J. and I should call my bank to refund me the 707.95 $ . sometimes they think people won’t notice specially if they hear an foreign accent. SO HORRIBLE FOR A RESTAURANT WITH SUCH A PRESTIGE. NEVER COMING BACK!!

Enjoyed the experience. Calming decor and ambience. Service was attentive. The Salmon was done with a small kale salad and thick bacon with a light stock added for flavor. Lobster risotto was decent but the highlight was the fresh nectarine and apricot salad. Cocktails were on point.

Had high expectations for this restaurant, and did they ever deliver! Some of the very best and freshest wine country cuisine we have ever had. Tasting menu was superb with more than the usual portions, and the duck entree was magnificent. Very nice atmosphere with friendly staff.

Overall a beautiful restaurant and all dishes came out very tasty, just skip the ribeye! It came out almost cold and tasteless. Service is average. Our waitress was barely interactive and answered questions in very short. Also wish they had told us about the price on the cork fees upfront. $35 a bottle. We hardly drank half of each bottle. The waitress was less then helpful with the check.

We ordered 6 main dishes and only 2 of them were really great: the chicken and the duck. The remaining dishes were ok but not great. They tagliatelle were bland and the rice in the lobster risotto was too al dente. The duck confit agnoleti were also a bit bland. The service was excellent and the ambience great.

My wife and I did the chef's tasting menu with premium wine pairing. The food was very good overall, atmosphere was very nice, but the service was terrible. When you spend $700 on a meal, including tip, for 2, you expect good service. Bad service literally ruins a meal and this was the case. The second course came out before we finished the first, our before dinner cocktails came out at the second course and we had only received the first wine pairing. So there we are, a table FULL of plates and glasses not knowing were to start.
Bad start, but we can let that slide.
From every course moving forward, we received our food but had to wait from 2-7 min to get our wine poured.
It's a wine paired dinner!
The food runner kept bringing food to our table forgetting what was on the plate while explaining the dish and mumbled so you could hear him anyway. At the end, the waiter said he was going to comp this and that and apologized while saying thank you and leaving the check. What, i didn't want coffee, is there anything else you need? That's customer service 101.
We expect a lot more from restaurants we spend close to a thousand dollars on a meal for two. Good thing the food was great but we will not be going back.

Lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. The night before Independence Day the restaurant was half full. We were seated for 30 mins before we received our drinks and one was missed(came another 30 mins later). After 2 hours we were finally served our first course. During all this time wait staff was AWOL appearing only to make repeated apologies. We had a toddler with us who had now fallen asleep so we left without being served entrees. I have no idea how long the meal might have taken if we stayed. There were long periods (7-10 mins) when no staff were in the front of the house. I cannot in good conscience recommend Farm to anyone.
