Delightful, unexpected treats from the kitchen from the garden. Great cool evening on the patio with heaters were perfectly comfortable. Wait staff was attentive. Ratatouille was great, dessert was enough for 4 to share. Would certainly come back.
Solid food... didn't have wine but it was all local so you can't really go wrong. The ambience was great. The indoor space was small but still felt private. The outdoor space was so relaxed--felt like you're on vacation.
Beautiful setting but the food was terrible. Chewy, cold expensive steak w poorly seasoned vegetables that were soggy. If only the food matched the ambiance.
Excellent food and service.
Overall, disappointing for a restaurant with a reputation of this caliber. Slow service (especially the wine steward) and mediocre food quality (the chicken entree was glorified chicken strips). Based on this experience, would not return nor recommend this restaurant.
Very comfortable and great vibe with live, outdoor music playing at just the right volume. Great, friendly service - very welcoming. Food was very good. Great mix of families and couples enjoying an evening out. Will definitely visit again.
We always heard so much about the FARM and all the reviews, but I have to say we were not impressed on a quiet, un-busy Thursday evening in Carneros wine country. We acknowledge the priciness of this establishment, but the experience was not enjoyable, rushed, pretentious and cold. Did not feel comfortable the entire evening due to the lack of this restaurants aura and the dining experience. It was a cool evening in Carneros, but it was cooler in the restaurant, actually cold. The Food: Amuse Bouche: squash specialty; unspectacular/unimpressive and cold. Warm Burrata Salad: this was delicious and fresh, and the Burrata was warm. The bread: delicious with a wonderful crust. Starter: The Tagliatelle: unfortunately it brought out at the same time as the burrata salad and was COLD by the time we got to it; too bad as the sauce was actually nice, even cold! The salmon dish was delicious, warm and inviting, but average. The Duck Breast: was prepared to my liking medium/medium rare with a wonderful tasty sauce, and crispy skin...but it was COLD, as were the sides and sent back to the kitchen. Attempt 2 on the Duck Breast failed as well: COLD. Drinks: Still water, delicious and refreshing; Campari and soda: refreshing and classic; chose the Poundstone Pinot to go with our meal, and it was fantastic: classic Carneros profile, smooth soft tannins, Burgundy style, with great fruit and balance. We were never really offered dessert or coffee or an after dinner drink, but were brought some VERY small light cookie-like pastries that were tasteless, plain and waste of calories, but promptly given the check when I expressed that I was unimpressed with these biscuits and quickly exited. One of the most high profile disappointments in a LONG time, especially the food and service (or lack thereof). Tread carefully if you choose to go here, choose wisely, and be sure to bring your wallet.
Contemporary atmosphere with a meal that did not deliver.
Food was amazing! Great value.
Food made well some creativity decent size portions friendly service
We came during our 1-year anniversary trip to Napa from Ohio. The ambiance was beautiful, even though we thought there was live music the evening we visited and there was not. Our server was fantastic, very on top of all of our possible needs and consistently checking in on us. The food was flavorful and delicious, however, we thought portions seemed small for the price we were paying. Either way, we would re-visit in the future!
Great experience with Jack. The unique family style brunch was awesome letting us all have a portion of everything. A great way to find out that all of the dishes were special and delicious. Every egg was perfectly cooked. The salmon was like butter. I would definitely say the beignets were better than cafe duMond in New Orleans. Sauces were special. All topped off with a yummy grapefruit mimosas. Service was perfect from every perspective. Thank you for a special end to our wine country weekend!!
Absolutely love Farm. Our waiter, Justin, couldn’t have been better. Very personable , giving just the right balance between attentive and allowing us space and time to enjoy our wonderful meal. The outside area is safe for COVID and very pleasant. The food is fantastic and beautifully served. A bit pricey but so worth it. Thanks Farm
The ambiance and food were great, but it was rather pricey.
Delicious meal. Try the salmon!
Lovely setting, had brunch, really enjoyed the “pick 4 family style” so that we got to try a variety of dishes. Food was beautifully plated and arrived at the table in a timely manner. Only glitch was a mixup in reservation time related to OpenTable issue per staff.
Our waiter was excellent. The tomato soup I ordered was more like a tomato salad in a clear liquid broth. Tasty, but not quite what I had in mind. My duck was overcooked for my taste and somewhat tough with not much taste. It could have used more seasoning/ sauce. My partner’s salmon, however, was perfect in all respects. Her appetizer of a potato dish of some sort was also excellent, although more appropriately as a side dish, not an appetizer. I would have preferred a more extensive menu to choose from, especially the appetizers including appetizers that could have been priced more reasonably. And, although my martini was prepared perfectly, the added charge of $4 on the bill for blue cheese olives was, well, quite frankly insulting especially given the high end nature of the restaurant and their prices.
We had a lovely dinner however during the night some of us didn’t feel too well. Not sure what the cause. May have been the risotto
We arrived and there was no one at the front to greet us The server was nice but she was very hard to understand. The garden salad had a few slices of over ripe peaches and was very boring. The asparagus and lobster dish was excellent. We shared a chicken, waited a long time for it, it was very good but cold. We thought the menu selection was limited. The wine service was excellent. Great restaurant when they get it right, tonight was not one of those occasions.
Fabulous brunch. Everything delicious, particularly excellent was the Norwegian Smoke salmon. Unbeatable! Everything was simply perfect.
Very pretty restaurant high ceilings and fireplace plenty of outdoor seating
I had the champagne granite with mascarpone and grilled peaches. So unusual and fit together perfectly.
We were celebrating our son’s engagement and wanted them to experience our FAVORITE restaurant in Napa/Sonoma!! The Farm at Carneros has become a mandatory stop on our annual trip to the area!!! Fabulous food, impeccable service and the perfect setting/environment. We WILL be back!
Brunch has family style courses - excellent!
Farm is a exquisite place to celebrate your special day or just a dinner experience. It has a beautiful outdoor tables with sunset colors is truly an amazing feeling. The staff is amazing, polite and knowledgeable. We ate brassica entree’s and it was delicious. I never imagined cauliflower could be tasting so good. Highly recommend going to Farm for a dinner and reservation around sunset. Loved it!
FARM was worth the wait! We ordered 6 plates - including oysters and dessert - and EVERY single one was an explosion of flavor magic to our palate. By far, one of our favorite places from here on out in Napa/Sonoma!
Lots of space inside and out for people to be spread out and enjoy each other without a lot of noise. The menu is fresh and creative with variety of seasonings. The dessert was quite possibly the most beautiful and delicious I have ever had. Our waitress just wanted us to have a wonderful time and accommodated every need. We will return!
The food was really good. The portions are perfect and ambiance is fantastic
Last night our family dined at the restaurant for our daughter‘s 23rd birthday, it was a wonderful experience, the food was excellent, much better than many of the Michelin star restaurants in the Napa Valley in our family‘s opinion. We did bring our own champagne and wines, the corkage fee is $35 a bottle, which was fine. The service was excellent, the ambience is very nice, the restaurant was very accommodating to our last minute request to eat inside, as it was almost 100°. Our property Is less than 10 minutes away from this resort/restaurant, we plan on being regulars!!!
Excellent all around!
Pork Belly small plate was truly memorable!
Rich and flavorful!
Burratta appetizer was an A+, as well
Service was great..just a little slow
Would 100% go back and recommend
This was on my bucket list and I only live 45 minutes away. The only thing that would have made my experience better would have been me staying even longer. The food was perfectly cooked and our wait staff was friendly and timely. They had live music which was a perfect compliment to the dining experience.
Service very slow, our waitress acted like she hated her job, and not once asked us how our meal was between courses. All the food came out cold. With all of the wonderful restaurants in the Napa valley, I recommend skipping this one.
We had a great experience at this restaurant! Food was great and the overall experience was amazing! The halibut was the best I have ever had. My husband really liked their old fashions!!
Exceptional service, atmosphere and food. All menu items are made of high quality fresh ingredients and the flavors are delicious and tantalizing to the tastebuds.
Dope fr bruh, highly recommend ✊🏽✊🏽
Always the best!
Excellent service and the food was amazing!
We definitely felt rushed by the staff and then manager. Otherwise, it was phenomenal! Ambiance was like being in a fairytale and food was some of the best we've had.
