Beautiful surrounding at the Farm at Caneros Resort in the NAPA Valley. The decor is tasteful and elegant, the service impeccable and the food - divine! Such a burst of flavour in each dish and beautifully presented. Very creative use of local ingredients. Thoroughly recommend.

WONDERFUL service. We had Ray as our server and he was phenomenal!! Exceptionally accommodating and welcoming. The food was delicious as well. This is our favorite spot!!

My husband and I came for an anniversary dinner. Our table was an intimate 2-top next to the fireplace. We were greeted with complimentary sparkling wine and the evening continued getting better. The food was delicious- we both did the 5-course Chef's Tasting Menu: A Tasting of Persimmon and every dish was outstanding. Our waiter McKenzie (Mackenzie?) was knowledgeable and funny, and we felt very welcome. We've been at higher end places where the waitstaff has no personality and are clearly just doing their jobs- with a past in food service, I really appreciate someone who seems to enjoy what their doing and has fun with it. Another thing we noticed is how everyone helped each other out- even the sommelier wasn't above helping the bussers clear plates. The setting was beautiful and it was really just a wonderful way to round out our last day in Napa.

The when the absolute only criticism you can offer has more to do with your gps tracking while vacationing celebrating not one but two birthdays, it was a indescribable wonderful experience! The best yet for me via Open Table

Third time here in the past year. The brunch options turned out to be very good, especially the fired chicken and waffles. The only hiccup was related to service. I had to ask for a coffee cup three time before it was provided. It seems that when you ask for something after the server has taken your food order, it's a 50/50 chance you will never see it. I expect better in a fine dining restaurant.

We’re locals and we visit Farm often. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is casual yet elegant and relaxing.
This is the first time we’ve ever had a negative comment - our visit yesterday was excellent except for our server. He was not attentive and didn’t have any personality. Our guests opened their own bottles of bubbles because we couldn’t find our server!
I’m sure it was just a bad day and it doesn’t stop us from returning with our out of town guests.

We were extremely dissatisfied with our experience at Farm. We ordered the Porterhouse steak for 2 ($90) and the meat was tough, undercooked, and tasteless. After the food was delivered to our table, it was quite some time before our waiter asked if it was satisfactory. We had barely touched the meat, it was not edible. We explained to him our dissatisfaction and a manager was sent over. Rather than offering to replace our food with another menu item, the manager merely apologized, and gave us a credit of $45 on our bill. We rarely complain in restaurants, but when you pay $90 for a cut of meat, you expect it to be better than a Sizzler steakhouse cut of meat. The waiter told us this was not the first time he had heard our complaint - if so, why not find a new supplier or remove the item from the menu?

We had a party of 5. When they took us to our table it was an awkward table right next to the patio double doors. We asked to switch to a table in the middle of the room and were told the table was reserved. The table we requested to be moved to never filled in the 2+ hours we were dining. They had to bring blankets for the two in our party sitting right next to the doors. Our first requested bottle of wine was out of stock. The waiter came to our table to tell us of the out of stock bottle, offering no suggestion at the same bottle price. One in our party opted to do the $150 per person wine/dinner pairing. His first plate was brought out, we had to remind the waiter for the wine to pair with the plate. Not a great experience on this visit to Farm for the $700 price tag. We were all very disappointed.

The FARM at Carneros is a must try for all Foodies out there!

Each dish is thought out very careful with a lot of creativity + surprises!

The ambiance is very chic + comforting. The service is outstanding; friendly + engaged.

My husband and I travel at least once a month and often to different countries, so it’s safe to say we’ve gotten a bit picky about where we eat.

The Farm is creative, innovate + has it’s own authentic style in presentation as well as taste. Some of the favorites were:

- the caviar as a starter
- the potato + leek soup (!!!!!)
- the burata (only good one I’ve tried in the U.S.)
- my husband was a huge fan of the scallops.

Huge shout out to the kitchen, great experience over all!

We’ll be back :)

We were blown away by the amabiance and allure of FARM. The service was outstanding. However our entrees were a bit on the salty side. Someone had a heavy hand with the salt on our chicken and gnocchi! The potato leek soup was amazing the presentation was great. Overall a wonderful experience!

I hosted a birthday brunch for my friends during the past weekend. Called the restaurant in advance to confirm that they would provide dessert with candles - and I expected they would probably have mousse/cheese cake/tart. What we got actually, was a small scoop of ice cream with candle on it. The waiter was very polite but was not helpful. We are all disappointed about our experience.

We’re Napa locals and Farm is one of our absolute favorites! Chef Nick is incredible, the food is outstanding! We’ve always had excellent service. This is a place we bring all our visiting guests!

Service was terrible. Long wait to be acknowledged, for drinks to arrive, etc. Server apologized and blamed this on training a new staff member repeatedly The excuse was ok the first time, but unprofessional the next 3 or 4 times. We were offered free beignets, which was nice, but the overall experience was laughable from a service perspective.

The service was slow and the food was weird. The atmosphere is wonderful, which is a major reason we go. The diner(s) get to pick four dishes from a selection and then everyone at the table shares them equally.
They need to offer more savory and non-egg protein dishes at their brunch. We waited an hour for the first dish and another hour for the next three dishes, which came all at once! For such an expensive brunch, it is unacceptable that fresh squeezed OJ is not offered. I had the mimosa, which was labeled as a "peach with thyme" mimosa. It was truly ghastly. After one sip, I tried to sell it to my companions. One tried a sip and agreed with me about the taste. I couldn't get anyone to take it! The baking powder biscuits were divine, but served with horrible spreads. How about plain old butter....would be so much better! Same with the coffee cake, although the apple butter was good and would have been a better choice with the biscuits. I'm allergic to egg, so we chose against anything egg because the dishes have to be shared, but that left us with few protein choices and none of us liked the fried chicken/waffle dish. Farm is trying too hard to be politically correct in a spa-sort of way, but then it offers the weird chicken/waffle dish. Too many extremes and not enough yumminess!

We dined indoors (our choice), the atmosphere was very pleasant. The menu was varied and inventive, and everything we tried was delicious - even simple salads were elevated beyond our expectations. Service was also excellent - friendly but not intrusive, and generous. We would recommend Farm for a treat - and a true taste of wine country.

Having dined at multiple five star restaurants, as well as working in the industry, I rarely find locations that wow me. This restaurant was without a doubt one of the most impressive meals I have had. From service to their amazing wine list to presentation to taste, everything was on point without being pretentious. The outdoor lounge with fireplace was an amazing pre dinner cocktail spot. If you find yourself looking for an perfect night, this place will not disappoint

Great food and service. We had a reservation for Thursday night and had a great table outside. A singer was entertaining in the outdoor “bar” area that was phenomenal. I had the recommended duck and my husband had the chicken. Both were amazing When we left we asked if we could make a reservation for Saturday night. So happy they had room. We sat outside again and had another great meal. This time we had the steaks for 2. A complimentary dish of pasta was brought out. We only wish that they would have had music on Saturday night to really make it amazing.
