Farina Neighborhood Italian Ratings and Reviews
We were entertaining
FrIends for the evening
In fact our Christmas gift to them. I had pizza it was so over baked the crust hurt my teeth. My husband had Sunday gravy he was very disappointed. We brought much leftovers home. Tried to warn on Sunday. We were very disappointed when we saw the ingredients in the daylight. All went in the trash. Needless to say our friends shared a large large pizza. They were nice enough to
Not to complain we were embraced for ourselves. The wine was ok. My husband said we may try again. Very busy night. Our waitress was superb and this was her first night. Sorry. I have had your beet salad once for lunch. Delicious and very expensive. However that salad caused me to try again. Sorry
Excellent experience. Split some dishes & they were served already halved. Wait staff were great & seemed to work well together. Wondered why they don’t have more accidents carried dishes given the pace everyone ran past each other. The place was packed so the noise level was a little high but with people having a good time. Also it still wasn’t so loud the we couldn’t hold a quiet conversation. Saw lots of interesting dishes to try at a later date but had the “Sunday Gravy”. Would be a hard not to order it again. Prices great given quality of the food & overall experience. Restaurant compares favorably to some higher priced Italian establishments.
while the food was as good as always, it was a very busy Saturday night and one of our orders was mixed up and came very late. It seems that particular dish was less tasty than the others, possibly since it had to be rushed. Otherwise, the service was great and the other dishes were very good.
Had a delicious sandwich with roasted chicken, artichokes and pesto on ciabatta bread. Came with a beautiful salad and their wine was half price! So of course I had to have a glass. Our lunch was on the late side and the restaurant was almost completely empty. There were still some guests outside. Would definitely go back. Food is excellent and atmosphere looks great. Support this great local gem.
Had out of town family. They were impressed and would like to return the next time they are in town. Wait staff were excellent, knowledgable, and accomodating for guest with questions. Servings are generous especially for take-aways after the meal. Prices were a value for the quality of food served. Have added to my go-to short list of places to eat. All in all, as my grandmother would say, I was replete.
Had a new server who seemed unsure of the menu and was a bit slow . The cannolis we took home for dessert were disappointing - too much cinnamon and the cream filling was grainy in texture.
The front door was left open so the reataurant was very warm while we ate .
It was like eating in a food court at the mall. People walking through the dining room to get to the hostess stand. Mediocre service. Food is good but I'd rather spend more for a much better experience. Probably good for weekday dining but definitely not for a relaxing dinner on a Saturday night.
This was our first time here, and our experience was excellent! Beverly was an awesome server who accommodated our every request, including snapping a picture of us with my iPhone for date night. The atmosphere is sophisticated and yet very comfortable and casual. You can feel right at home wearing jeans to dinner, and yet the service and experience feel very "fine". The wine menu offered some interesting Italian choices, which allowed me to try something new. My husband enjoyed chicken parmesan and it was huge and delicious. The breading on the chicken was a beautiful shade of brown and nice and crunchy, and the homemade marinara sauce was full of flavor. I steer towards lower carb foods and was pleasantly surprised to see spaghetti squash as an optional side. The kitchen put together a beautiful veal piccata over spaghetti squash for me. Having recently moved here, we enjoy trying new places and this one will definitely be our number one spot for Italian! Thank you everyone at Farina for a wonderful date night! Fino alla prossima volta :-)
Thank you for acknowledging my online reservation. Thank you for giving us the table I requested. It made the occasion that much more romantic. My husband and I enjoyed our dinner; and celebrating our Tenth Wedding Anniversary!!!!!! Thank you for the excellence you put into your hospitality, dining experience, and food. We've found a secret that we don't want to share. You really are a hidden gem!
