(Please note that our patio dining is on a first come, first serve basis. We are pet friendly and non smoking on the patio.)
We shared the short ribs. They were amazing!
Great food, excellent service. Ran out of features desert. Lots of noise makes table conversation difficult.
Great food and wonderful service. A great place to eat.
Enjoyed the Caprese Salad ant the appetizer. The pizza was very good, but the night’s pork chop special was over cooked and very chewy. Did not care for it at all.
Always great food and service.
The seafood pasta was delicious. I would like to have ice in my water, please. The waitress didn’t fill my water glass up , so I had to drink my husband’s . I would prefer to have the music lower , so we can hear each other talk. We will definitely be back to try other dishes, but the seafood pasta will be hard to beat!
We have lived in a number of large cities and have struggled to find outstanding Italian food in the area; a lot of pretty good but not great. Farina does a good job preparing solid traditional dishes. I would say above average for the area. One plus is they have a very good wine list.
Farina hits all the marks. It’s casual but not informal. It’s family oriented and intimate at the same time. It makes me feel a little like I’m in an Italian neighborhood restaurant like up in New York. There’s a simplicity and elegance to the operation that is only outdone by the quality of the food. They do it right and they are consistent. We enjoy going there very much.
Food is legit...I lived in Italy for almost 8 years. It is pricey. Expect to pay 100 if you share and well over if you dont. Found out the chef had left but the kitchen was still following his recipes...suggest they continue that practice:-). These are timeless dishes. Took a bit to get a drink and order, but it was super busy and we sat in the bar area...we moved from a high table to the bar, so the delay was probably our fault. Keith makes a mean dirty vodka martini. Suggest you avoid the tables at the back of the bar unless you want to freeze or cook...they are directly under large heating/cooling vents.
We had an excellent meal. We have dined at Farina on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. We were with two other couples and had a leisurely dinner. The waiter was understanding that we wanted to spend a leisurely evening. The food was great.
Our first time at Farina. Service was good. They had some confusion about who would get wait on us, but once that was sorted our server was very attentive. The server and the management even assumed responsibility and apologized - great accountability. The salad (greens and Peaches) and pizza (Meatball) was REALLY special and the Wednesday wine deal is NOT to be missed. We will return - the food is worth it, the servers are personable and the leadership gets "it".
Excellent service and food. Top notch!
Great outdoor seating and wood fired pizza. Very friendly service.
Great food, service was solid, and prices were very reasonable for the great quality. The atmosphere is a family-oriented and relaxing one.
We've been to Farina more than a few times. Outstanding pizza - great, crispy crust from the wood-fired oven; and high-quality, fresh toppings. The wine list is very good and mostly reasonably priced. Dining room service is excellent. If you choose the pizza bar, or the pub tables in the bar area, it can be a bit harder to get your server's attention. Keep in mind that Farina is almost always quite busy and it's not quiet. If you want a quiet, romantic dinner, with lots of ambience, it's no the place. It's much better for a fun dinner for two, or a group outing.
We had an antipasto board, a large pizza, and 2 nice bottles of wine - with a good tip it cost approx. $150. I consider that an excellent value. We'll definitely go back.
We are frequent visitors of Farina. We absolutely love the chopped salad and sitting outside when the weather permits.
This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Reservation was on time, server was attentive and knowledgeable about their extensive wine list. The carbonara was amazing and the carpaccio appetizer special was delicious and generous. We got a bottle of wine but we could see the by the glass pours were generous. Even the red sauce was obviously long simmered, rich and delicious. The ricotta gnocchi were lovely. Even though we were there at prime time on a Friday night, we never felt rushed.
Overall everything was outstanding. Service was the only negative. Our water glasses were never filled until we asked and our waiter never came to check on us, he disappeared.
We had ordered a pizza to go after our meal. The waiter never came back until he gave us our check and then it was too late for us to remind him.
We went to the restaurant with another couple and we all enjoyed the food. The portions were large and if two people ordered the same dish they would double the portion at a reduced price. We definitely plan on returning.
Good food. Good service. It is great “go to” restaurant.
The service is at a pretty relaxed pace and while it was effective at times it seemed our server disappeared when issues arose. Since we had not been there before we engaged our server in a dialogue around recommendations and decided to order an appetizer of fried mozzarella, three salads, a kids spaghetti, Sunday Gravy and a Margherita Pizza. The fried mozzarella and salad came out fine and were delicious. That is where the issues began. Farina has a brick oven and they were apparently having issues with the pizza dough sticking to the bottom of it. We waited 45 minutes for our meals and the server never came out. At the 45 minute mark the manager came over with the spaghetti and let us know they were having an issue with the dough. We waited another 20 minutes for the Gravy and the Pizza for my wife and other son. Just as I was walking over to the manager to let her know to cancel our orders they pulled the pizza out of the oven. The bottom line is the food is great, but the service is pretty poor and they only offered a single dessert to make up for us having to wait for 4 failed pizza attempts. Not sure I would recommend, which is too bad because the menu looked great and it is pretty cool inside.
We celebrated a family birthday with dinner at Farina Neighborhood Italian. Outstanding experience from beginning to end. Great food, service and ambiance!
Farina is my new favorite Italian restaurant. I have been 3 times now and have not been disappointed!
Good food and service in a pleasant environment. This is a very good option when I want to stay close to home (not having to drive far) and want a nice meal, good service and reasonable prices. Good selection of items on the menu and good wine list. Definitely nice to have this restaurant in our area.
We are new to the area, my husband & I are both Italian. We loved the atmosphere and the food. Our family had a great first time experience.
Nina was our waitress. Very helpful with her recommendations
Beautiful ambience. Food was amazing. Nice staff. We went for there for our anniversary dinner and the staff made it a special night for us.
The bread for the bruschetta was mushy. It would have been better if you had toasted the white table bread as a base. The Parmesan chicken wings were delicious. The Margarete pizza was bland. Our other meals were ok.
The service was very good. She was efficient but not overbearing.
We are 5 super seniors who were seated in a side room with 2 tables for 6 and a larger table preset for a group of 12+ that included at least 1 screaming baby and undisciplined toddlers. The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived at 6 P.M. and could have been seated anywhere else in a corner, a quiet nonspace, outside, WHEREVER. We never saw the "hostess" who seated us until we left. Our server, BRANDI, was fabulous in every aspect, from the moment she saw the preset table to trying to get us out of the "chaos" quickly. As we had already received our main course and the restaurant had filled we could not be reseated elsewhere. Brandi was so proficient in her assessment of a situation that could has so easily been avoided by the "child hostess" in the first place who did not understand our frustrations with this large groups oblivion to the lack of discipline, consideration of others, common courtesy and arguing with US on our way out that we, as regular customers, may not return because of this most unpleasant experience. The eggplant parm, chicken marsala, angel hair with meatballs, my gluten free baked rigatoni were awesome as always. The service was 5*+. Brandi went over and beyond her outstanding self to accommodate our needs. Children who have no clue where to seat people should be trained or not be in a position to make such caustic mistakes. Farina's is too good to receive comments like this.
Excellent food and excellent staff. While quite lively at 7pm, it wasn't hectic. Food and drinks were fairly expensive, but they were arguably worth it.
Pizza is awesome!! So is service! And a great wine list!
Great food and super service!
Great authentic Italian food! Highly recommend! Perfect for family or date night!
The service and food was very good, this is my new favorite Italian restaurant!
We went back specifically for the pizza! My wife and I wanted to try a few of the pizzas and we were very pleased with our decision.
We enjoy sitting at the pizza oven bar. The food is consistently good.
The food and service are consistently excellent. Portion size is perfect and we usually take some of the meal home.
Everything was perfect. Every single dish. Would recommend it to anyone who wants an amazing italian meal. Will surely be coming again.
