Beat salad and sanddabs were outstanding. filet mignon meat was tasty, but not the best
quality meat. I would definitely go back.

Always love our meals at Fandango. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner there almost 15 years ago so always a special place. Husband had the white abalone and I had the short ribs. Delicious!!

It was an amazing evening! Celebrating a 40 & 50 year anniversaries.

Very glad to be dining out. Restaurant was vey busy and our server was nonexistent other than serving food. We got the sand dabs and paella. Both had good flavor but too much oil. Very greasy. We went to this restaurant on a recommendation and we were disappointed.

Gorgeous food, wine and desserts. Oh the sauces and flavors! The ambience is just what I had been looking forward to, romantic and warm. Excellent service. The best experience!

This is our favorite restaurant on the Monterey Peninsula. Had smoked salmon, cannelloni and cheesecake. Everything was delicious.

Food and attentiveness were great. Negatives were the promise of soufflé coming in three minutes which turned into 15 , and tables set close across (especially those without plexi screens) during these Covid times.

Courteous, professional staff who were very helpful with the menu item descriptions. This place is more a comfort food place with very good service, a mid-range value- better than a diner but not an ultra fine dining experience.

For the price point of the meals, the food presentation could stand an upgrade. Above average portion sizes on the duck entree and pasta entree. Highly recommend the duck entree if you are a duck lover, meat was nicely prepared-tender & flavorful.

Pasta puttanesca dish, however, was drowning in too much sauce, pasta seemed as though it was cooked in advance and left to sit out for awhile, a bit on the dry side, maybe this explains why there was too much sauce. And the sauce was actually on the sweeter side, not what I want in a puttanesca. Just skip this dish.

This is our second time dining at Fandango and it has become our favorite restaurant in Pacific Grove. The service and the food have been great both times.

Our meals were on point with appropriate timing when served to our table, the flavor, portion size were perfect. We look forward to our next visit to continue our tasting a new entree each time. We have not been dissapointed.

Wonderful dining experience for a special occasion while in Pacific Grove.

The dinner from start to finish was amazing. From the host to the bussers to the waiter.

We visited PG after being away for nearly 20 years and had to go back to Fandango. Lovely experience and everything was perfect from the service to the salads, mains and of course the soufflé!! Can’t wait to go back and hopefully it won’t be another 20 years!!

Fandango used to be our favorite place in Pacific grove but has not been there for a year dur to COVID-19. We were excited to go with our friends. We were sesred promptly at the bottom of the stairs ( dungeon) where there was already a noisy party of 6-7 women seated. Our waiter was spread thin over our room and adjacent rooms. It was 30 min before he was able to come back and take our orders since the women were returning their orders. Bread and other requests for refills were asked of different servers but did not materialize.
The food itself was okay. I ordered the special grilled lamb which was supposed to give you the whole rack while my companion ordered the double lamb chops and had two racks for half the price. The grand marnier soufflé was very eggy almost like a flan.
The maitre d kept on looking down to see if he can turn our table around.

The service was awesome! The food was excellent. Great cocktails. We sat outside and enjoyed our time.

It was great to return to my local favorite dinner house. To see old friends in familiar faces all around and have the food be up to its old good standards. The Decore naturally suffered due to Covid regulations. I miss the white tablecloth and the fresh flowers everywhere.

Excellent service and attention from the staff and the chef. The dishes were tasty and the soufflés were impressive. The wait staff was particularly pleasant and made excellent recommendations. We were running late for our reservation, but the host was accommodating and had a wonderful table ready for us when we arrived.

Fantastic restaurant! I'm so surprised we were actually able to get a last minute reservation here. All of our dishes were phenomenal and the staff were all friendly and super attentive. Will definitely be making it a point to come back here whenever we go to Monterey

Fandango serves awesome food in great style! Our party of 6 ordered very different items and were all very happy. We always make it a go to when visiting Monterey area.

We had a wonderful time at Fandango. They have made the most of their outdoor space to ensure everyone was comfortable despite the evening chill, managing the pandemic safely. The servers were attentive and went to great lengths to ensure my husband had a wonderful birthday dinner. This is our favorite spot in Pacific Grove!

Waited 10 minutes for anyone to greet us. We had reservations and were seated in outdoor patio area. No indoor due to covid.

Server didn't give us water. Server didn't go over any specials. Other tables had water brought out immediately and we heard their servers going over specials.

We asked for an appetizer and it came out wrong twice. Server didn't offer any apology or offer to take off bill.. Drinks were good but they don't have a cocktail menu.

Food was the most bland food I have had in recent memory. I had the lamb and my wife had pasta. I've had better food at olive garden...which is saying a lot.

On top of this a MOUSE ran across our table. My wife screamed and everyone looked at us. We told them all it was a mouse. People were freaking out.

Worst $160 I have spent at a restaurant. Will not be back. Left a 10% tip but now thinking back on it should have left nothing. This place is terrible.

We enjoyed the birthday celebration of our daughter, one of many memorable family milestones we have celebrated at Fandango.

This was a fantastic night. Even outdoors and it was awesome!

Or my boyfriend special birthday even doing the virus year I wanted to do something very special and we were looking for escargot and wonderful ambience outdoor dining at Fandango's was perfect can't wait to go back

Had a fabulous dinner this week. The outside dining situation was very nice....quiet and well heated. The food was amazing. We had short ribs and the paella. Everything was great and the service excellent. Kudos to Fandango!
