Fanatico Italian Bistro Ratings and Reviews
Although I usually order their delicious chicken marsala, this time I order the grilled chicken arugula salad, as did my wife.
she thought that there was too much arugula and not enough of the other ingredients.
I enjoyed my salad, but in retrospect, I would have preferred to have the grilled chicken chopped into the salad, rather than placed on the bottom of the salad, as two slabs
Everything was wonderful, except that there was a very rude mom with a bunch of girls there and she didn't book enough room for them and all the other mothers were standing around which made it very noisy and unpleasant
Not your fault. But I met an old friend and we could barely hear each other
Good neighborhood Italian restaurant for a sorta quick but big plated hearty meal. Not for a romantic or leisurely dinner. A great let's grab a meal place esp if you're hungry. However I always get the skinny girl entree so dieters can still make it out of their with a low calorie meal.
Food at fanatico is always plentiful, reasonable and delicious. Veal parm and chicken pillaird was delicious. My friend wasn't happy with her selection and the waitress let her choose something else with no problem. Bread basket also is great. My only complaint is the food is served fast so you're done fast. Otherwise I'd recommend!
Greeted warmly upon entry, had Gloria as our server who was friendly, and genuine. The focaccia bread on the table was warm, fresh and delicious. Appetizers were brought out quickly and entrees followed shortly afterwards. The eggplant stack was mouthwatering and the grilled salmon with beans was incredible. The finishing touch was the biscotti ☺️
Food is good here, but I find it can be hit or miss. Last time I was here a few months ago, food and service were better. This time service was not so great. That said, it is a good meal, waitress was definitely friendly, but she did not come over often enough. Took half hour to get drinks. Good food for the price and fun place. Great for kids.
Was just Meh this time; Been coming here for at least 3 years and generally food is good. This time the Chicken Scarpariello was tough; breast of chicken tasted and felt microwaved. Server forgot the broccoli. Took forever to get seated even though we had reservations via Open Table. Wife's pasta was also mediocre. Seems to me maybe this place is losing its vibe. I hope not as it used to be great.
We went expecting your basic, everyday Long Island local Italian pizza place in a shopping center. We're we wrong! The service was awesome. Food fresh and delivered hot ! Chicken Milanese prepared perfectly. Bottles of wine, very reasonable. Not your local pizza place, and not a place to ignore for a quick family dinner. Very casual, local neighborhood gem .... def easy to say we will go back.
This restaurant was great. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very nice and extremely accommodating. The food was delish from the appetizers to the entrees. The sangria was very tasty. And the specialty birthday cake was fabulous. I plan on going back there whenever I can.
Service can be spotty at this place. Even tho the Manager walks around he never checks to see if everyone is being serviced correctly. Our Waitress forgot about us and we had to hail a busboy to get anyone to come over even tho the Manager was standing nearby . Finally a neighboring waitress took pity in us and got us a check so we could leave. Not great Management!!!!
