   This was probably the best steakhouse I've ever eaten at! The steak quality and flavor was outstanding. The sides are very large portions, even though they are a la carte. The service was also exceptional! 10/10 recommend!

   The food was great but the experience as a whole was not worth it. I don’t understand what the point in asking us what we are celebrating when taking the reservation if we didn’t get the slightest acknowledgment of it at dinner. I took my husband out for his 45th birthday celebration, it would had been nice if the waiter had simply said happy birthday, but he did not. We made a reservation days in advance, & we were sat at a tiny table next to a big family with kids which really messed with the vibe/mood for us. There were plenty of other tables when we got there, and still so when we were leaving so I don’t believe it had anything to do with other reservations. The waiter took a long time to come back with drinks, though we watched him stand by the bar and chat with other staff for 5+ minutes at a time. We made the best of the situation, but after spending over $300 for just us two, it was not worth it.

   The food, service and ambience of the Famous Steakhouse were all excellent. Jeff, our server, was prompt, helpful, attentive and had a wonderful demeanor. My wife and I had a truly enjoyable dinner.

   We went to dinner at Famous for my husband's birthday. For appetizers, we had the pork belly and the curried cauliflower. The cauliflower was absolutely amazing as was the pork belly. The downside was that the appetizers are meant to be sharable, but the pork belly definitely was not. The five of us each had one bite. The guys had steaks (filet and wagyu) and they loved them. They agreed that the filet was the best. The ladies had the chicken. It was flavorful, but very dry. I totally understand that steaks are the specialty here, but if you're going to offer other options, I think they should be executed just as well.

   Overall the food was excellent, but the loud live piano was very annoying. Everyone in the place had to try and speak over that noise which made everything very loud and made the experience one of, "I can't wait to get out of here". Service was good and the prices were way to high.

    The filet mignon was to die for. We also tried the Greek salad and a baked potato which were both delicious! Our server asked if we wanted butter on the potato and we said yes. She then charged us $2 for adding butter which felt a bit ridiculous. She did not inform us of this, we just saw it on the bill. Other than that it was a great meal!

    I visited this place while on a date with my wife for the first time. From the start of our date, had to wait a good 15 minutes at the front door to be seated even though the establishment was not busy. That was a little annoying considering I was starving. When we sat down, they put us at a small table and I had to request to be seated at a larger table. Luckily, they were able to oblige. Our server was a nice lady. She brought out all our food in an appropriate amount of time. First thing to come out was our drinks and a loaf of bread. The bread was good. My drink was not enjoyable. I had the rum punch. We got our appetizer and it was sliced beef. I’ve had better appetizers so I was disappointed. Dinner was a 12 oz wagyu beef medium rare topped with colossal shrimp. I was extremely disappointed the way the steak turned out. Zero char and very bland and almost cold when it arrived to my table. Considering that was my first Wagyu steak, I was extremely disappointed. I had garlic French fries that were greasy but at least they were warm. Wife had a New York strip which tasted good but was full of fat. Dessert was good. It was a cheesecake. Definitely the highlight. Overall, my experience was mediocre at best. The food was not worth the $300 spent.

    Overall, the service and ambiance was very good, but the food was just OK. The drink I ordered was a Famous Fashion which I found to be very good. My wife did not like the limited choices of drinks and settled on a Chardonnay. I ordered the Ribeye, asking for rare. What I received was medium rare. Normally I wouldn't care, but when the ribeye is $57.00 it should be what you ordered. The mashed potatoes were outstanding. My wife was very disappointed that there wasn't Prime Rib available or a full lobster or crab legs option. She settled on the muscles and found them to be just OK.

    We had dinner reservations for 7:45pm, but were not seated until 8:30pm. The food took an extended time to come out. We didn’t end up leaving the restaurant until approximately 10:40pm, which basically ended our night since it was so late. The food was excellent, we just wish we had planned on being there for three hours.

    Went to celebrate the 6 month countdown to our wedding. The food was incredible. The piano player was phenomenal. The server was very nice but as it got busy we didn’t see him very often, it took a while to get cheesecake, a box for leftovers, and our check. All in all a great experience.

    The atmosphere was nice but that was about it. Our waitress barely paid us any attention other than taking our order and bringing our check. I had to ask the hostess for salt and pepper. The steaks came out and mine was cold while my partner’s was severely undercooked. The sides were edible but lacked flavor. Definitely not worth the $200 price tag.

    If you are looking for easy access to parking, friendly & attentive wait staff, comfortable & roomy booths, marvelous wine selection, exquisite & incredibly-prepared food, and a delicious dessert… then go to The Famous! The price is commensurate with the quality! Great music too!

    I frequent this steakhouse often, but for some reason this particular evening everything about this place was awful sadly. Had a reservation for Friday night prior to NYE. Waited 15 minutes for a table even with a reservation. The patrons were obnoxiously loud - the pianist was playing and singing so loudly that all the tables were even more loud to drown out the piano. Couldn’t even hear myself think let alone place an order. Our side dishes for some reason came out first before the steaks. Why would you knowingly bring them to the table? 20 minutes later steaks came, sides were cold, steaks were not cooked properly based on what we ordered. Server was clearly overwhelmed either due to short staffing or the fact that they were overly busy I guess (it’s NYE weekend, come on now), but even though she apologized for the sides coming out early didn’t bother to replace the cold ones or even comp one or two. Dessert was the best part of the dinner, and then had to wait over 30 minutes after asking for the check. Overall very disappointed on this evening and honestly not sure if I’ll come back again; there are better out there in the Springs.

    Our server did not talk to us a lot, he asked us 3 seperate times if we wanted bread to which we said yes and we’re never brought any. For the price of everything I have had better but it was still a nice restaurant and good food.

    Our waiter was not very attentive. We had to keep asking for more water and other things. We actually had to flag down another waiter one time to get some bread. The food quality was delicious. The service was mediocre.

    The first table we were given was next to the bar and a loud group of men. We asked to be moved, and we were accommodated with a much quieter table. The green beans are on the undercooked side, but maybe that’s just my taste. The steak and potato were great. We arrived at 6 and had to be at the Pikes Peak Center for an 8 pm performance. Waitress didn’t return to ask if I wanted another drink until we had to leave at 7:35. Overall a fine dining experience.

    Good food as always. On par with price. Sat at a window table. Tremendously drafty and cold. Cut dinner earlier as a result.
