Excellent food in a very unique location in old Toronto. Great service and ambiance.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is on a cute street in Cabbagetown. The food was ok but nothing amazing. My scallop risotto was bad. The scallops were fine but the risotto was soupy and lacked flavour. I don't live very close to this place and I don't think I would go out of my way to visit again unfortunately.
Sat at the bar. Amazing service and food was 10/10
Great service! Delicious food and wine. A hidden gem .
F-Amelia is a nice little place tucked into a side street. Anything that is not on a main street and a little different, I like. It is in a house, so is unique, small and cozy. The bar is nice and small. The food and pizza was quite good and its nice to be able to see it cooked in the wood oven in the open. The staff were attentive and helpful. The wine list is excellent and varied. Tanya, the manager is excellent, organized and helpful. Would recommend
We have been to F'Amelia previously. On this occasion, we had mushroom soup, salad, lasagna, garganti with fennel sausage.
Everything was delicious and the service was great, even with a busy room.
Food was delicious.
Staff are great.
It’s really nice inside - very cute etc.
Portions should be bigger for the price.
Absolute delightful experience. Pasta menu is heavily meat-based, but chef accommodated us vegetarians and my dish of linguini & tomato sauce was very flavourful. The Tiramisu was outstanding. Fun atmosphere and excellent service.
Enjoyed the Valentine's prefix menu. First time there. Food, service, and ambience all made for a great experience. Will be coming back to experience their regular menu. Loved it.
Great food, super efficient service, however even though I had asked for a high chair for my 1 yo child, they only had one and even if I was at the restaurant first, another family seemed to have priority over the high chair and I had to give it to them after a bit and try to feed my child on my lap. Not impressed that they only have 1 high chair.
A night I will always remember and the restaurant was the perfect setting.
A friend and I had dinner here on a Saturday night. Great service, took a bit to get our first drink but the service was great after that. Very friendly and even took our coats :) We were seated by the door which was a little cool at some points and sort of loud but we didn't mind too much. We both had pizza and it was absolutely delicious!
We loved this restaurant. Very cosy, warm, friendly, familiar. The food was excellent; I had scallops as an appetizer, Oslo buco as a main. Nice flavours! Highly recommended.
Good scallop appetizer. The lasagna was toomeaty and the noodles soggy and so thin, they were pointless.
Food was fresh and well prepared. Pizza excellent. Server was knowledgeable and attentive.
Food was good. Ambience excellent. But the wait staff were the best ever.
Food, ambience, and service are great, but the experience was dimmed somewhat by paying for water. The offer was for filtered still or fizzy, for $2 each, with tap water not mentioned as an option. When the bill came, it was $3 each. I was also upset by the price of the wine. I chose a medium priced one, but after the server's glowing description of a different one, I ordered the one suggested. It didn't occur to me to ask if it cost more, and the server never mentioned it. It turned out to be the most expensive on the menu. It really was good, but I felt I'd been suckered.
the beef in the lasagna was over mashed like sand no layers in lasagna like a bowl of gritty sauce the rissotto was mushy overall tomatoe dishes too tomato dense charged too much for the Q -water rabbit dish was very good appetizers very good shrimp cooked to perfection as was the scallops
Food and service was excellent! A very pleasant surprise...we'll definitely return.
Good food in a cool neighborhood. The old house the restaurant is in has a lot of character. Great spot for a romantic Italian meal.
Juat awesome. Wonderful meal that was served quickly. Super efficient team who really looked after you. Superb wine recommendation. The food was splendid. Perfect pasta. Made a fun evening with friends amazing. An absolute gem.
A neighbourhood gem. We love this place. Best restaurant in Cabbagetown. Great food, friendly and attentive service, and wonderful atmosphere. Reasonably priced.
Delicious food! Great service. Highly recommend this neighbourhood gem.
Our favourite neighbourhood spot, we have come to rely on F'Amelia for good food and great service. Once again, we were not disappointed. Both casual and polished, F'Amelia always makes us feel comfortable and special.
We brought some friends to F'Amelia for the first time. We have been many times and each time feels special because the old house it is in so so lovely and the food is good, solid Italian fare.
The food was good, but as someone with a gluten sensitivity the choices were limited as they don't have gluten free pasta or pizza crust. The wine list is good and the chocolate mousse is rich and satisfying.
We came there with a huge group of like 17 people and they accommodated us even tho we only had a reservation for 10-15 people, plus we were a little late. They setup a pizza menu for us with drinks and desert. The BBQ Chicken Pizza and Cacciatore Pizza was amazing. And we all had the best Tiramisu ever...it was so light and fluffy. The servers and staff were excellent and were really sweet. P.S I liked the romantic candle light dinner vibe, that was cool.
Like dining in Italy. The staff were stellar! The food was delicious particulatly the octopus salad!
F’amelia was nothing short of amazing. The service, the food, and the ambiance just took our breath away. THE BREAD IS TO DIE FOR! We will definitely be back!
Food was delicious and our server was really great. We did find the appetizers a bit pricey for the quantity.
Definitely recommend. House made pasta was fantastic.
Lovely patio seating on a quiet neighbourhood street. Freshly made excellent pasta. Fine seafood linguine, and a carbonara dish, the latter made with spinach and prosciutto. An enjoyable Indian summer experience.
Excellent service combined with delicious food at a reasonable price. Pizza special of the day (pulled pork among other things) was absolutely delicious.
Great experience - amazing ambience - looks great lit up at night. Best to eat in good weather to enjoy the outdoors. Service was prompt and friendly, and professional.
Can't wait to go back!
Enjoyed the food and delicious pasta. Pizzas were also very good. Service a little spotty, but decent. Prices are in line with other comparable places. Great flavours and we left very satisfied.
It was very cold in the restaurant. The door to the patio was either always open or usually open. Hoped the pizza oven would warm things up but never did. Food was fantastic.
Excellent! They accommodated us on the patio even though we had not reserved the outside.
Enjoyed the restaurant and would return - only complaint is the service. The waiter was very accommodating and friendly, except there was an issue with the wine order.
The bottle was advertised as a 2007 I believe, and the label said 2017. When questioned, the waiter said it did not make much of a difference, they would taste the same. There was no explanation as to why the wine was not as stated in the menu. I was very disappointed by this...
Otherwise I enjoyed the food, the ambience, and value of the meal and dining experience.
It was ridiculously cold in the restaurant. Sure, the people outside had heat lamps, but everyone inside was exposed to the cold from the open doors. They should really heat the inside too if they insist on leaving the patio open on a cold night. It was hard to enjoy my meal.
The food, on the other hand, came SCREAMING hot. I burned my mouth on the first bite of lasagna. The waitress only warned me not to touch the dish, but she should have warned me that the food would take at least 20 minutes to be edible. I had to nibble on my husband's dinner until mine was the appropriate temperature for consumption. His mushroom risotto was good, though mostly just salt flavoured. Didn't get any truffle flavour at all.
We also shared the salumi plate. Delicious, but so meager.
I wouldn't come here again, nor recommend it. Maybe if their pasta boiler was working it would have been a better experience. But it was way too expensive for a place that has more of a homey atmosphere.
Great brunch. One of my favourites in the city
We had a table outside on a perfect summer evening. Our server Katie was friendly and very attentive. The salumi starter with a sampling of cheese and breads was delicious. Pastas and pizzas were equally wonderful.
