Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant - Seattle Ratings and Reviews
I was very happy with our reservation. Our server was very attentive and kept good track of everyone's tab. She split up all the tabs without a fuss. She definitely made it a nice atmosphere to mingle with friends. I liked how put reservation felt like it had its own private room, even though at first there were a couple groups seated near us. It was a great experience and place to go to on NYE. I would highly recommend and would definitely go back for future large gatherings.
Gone here twice now for Geeks Who Drink. The appetizers are amazing! Service has been decent but not great but it seems to be more an issue with number of staff (wednesdays) due to the day rather than the staff themselves.
Trivia is fun, the ambiance is great, food is great, drink selection is wide. All around a good time!
Large group of 20-somethings visiting Seattle for the first time. Was able to book on open table for 10 people an hour before on a Friday night. Great service, better food (if that's possible). Came for dinner, stayed for drinks. Great atmosphere. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for delicious food and drink at a great price.
My group and I went past happy hour, and even then the drinks and food were moderately priced. The drinks are the usual, that is, nothing you can't find elsewhere, but some of their food is truly unique. A lot of meat-based specialties that you aren't going to find in many other generic places! The atmosphere is a bit dark, but it's really relaxing and even with large groups elsewhere, the walls can block off loud noise.
We got a reservation for 9, they had the number 9 on a placemat on the table, but only put out 8 chairs.
They took forever to bring drinks.
When my friend ordered a beer with his food(not with the drink orders), they took forever to arrive, and then came 20 minutes before the food.
Food took almost 45 minutes to arrive. It tasted good, but for the price, you don't get a lot of food.
From the moment we walked, we felt welcomed. Our table was all ready for us. Then, when we wanted another location, they happily accommodated us. We had everything we needed at all times. Service was friendly and added to the atmosphere! My husband's birthday celebration was wonderful! We will go back.
Terrible service. Food was good, but the waiter was stressed out. Only 4 tables occupied in our section when we arrived, however he was sweating, distracted (literally kept turning and looking behind while taking our orders), and did not return to refill drinks at all.
Fado's has been the happy hour spot our group has frequented for the past few years. However, our last visit has caused us to rethink where we go after work. The happy hour menu has drastically changed for the worse, the food ordered has gotten smaller in portions, and the staff has gotten grumpier. Not sure what happened, but that may have been our last happy hour visit.
When I use a service to book a reservation, I expect the restaurant to know we're coming.
And when the waitress makes a loud point of taking everyone's order in order of our location at the table, I expect her to write down who ordered what. There should be no reason to hold up every entree as it arrives and ask who wants it. that was unnecessary and disruptive to our work lunch.
Won't be coming back.
My fiancee and I had our engagement party here. The service was amazing and very helpful! They were personable, helpful, and just all around the best! The noise level wasn't bad, it was enough that you knew the place was a live and kicking, but not so loud that you had to shout over people or even to the person next to you. You could talk in a normal controlled voice! The drinks and the food, I'm not sure what to say aside from AMAZING, SPECTACULAR, DOWN RIGHT HITS THE SPOT! I would highly suggest Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant for any occasion!
Great ambiance, great staff, delicious simple and authentic food delivered with a fresh modern perspective. The decor pays homage without being kitchy and the chef(s) have gotten to the core of wholesome and flavorful Irish fare. We love this place and drive 45 minutes south to go here with our group of friends. And did I mention the completely reasonable prices?
