In Seattle for a couple of days and hit up Fado for dinner. One of the best corned beef and cabbage dishes I've had... ever... When we're back we'll stop in again, for sure!
I was very happy with our reservation. Our server was very attentive and kept good track of everyone's tab. She split up all the tabs without a fuss. She definitely made it a nice atmosphere to mingle with friends. I liked how put reservation felt like it had its own private room, even though at first there were a couple groups seated near us. It was a great experience and place to go to on NYE. I would highly recommend and would definitely go back for future large gatherings.
Gone here twice now for Geeks Who Drink. The appetizers are amazing! Service has been decent but not great but it seems to be more an issue with number of staff (wednesdays) due to the day rather than the staff themselves.
Trivia is fun, the ambiance is great, food is great, drink selection is wide. All around a good time!
This local pub served food that was good, but not great. The Sheppard's pie was OK, nice flavor and looked good, but could use some vegetable like peas and carrots. Having a young person with us banished us to a back room which was unappealing.
We went here for a friends birthday and the food was great, drinks were strong, and the service was quick and friendly. Great place for a large party and if you haven't had one...definitely try the pickle back!
Large group of 20-somethings visiting Seattle for the first time. Was able to book on open table for 10 people an hour before on a Friday night. Great service, better food (if that's possible). Came for dinner, stayed for drinks. Great atmosphere. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for delicious food and drink at a great price.
Have been here a few times now and have loved it! Great food, drinks, and service!!!
The best dining experience I have had in a long time!
Just a short and quick walk from the Bainbridge and Bremerton ferries, Fado's has exceptional service, food and an Irish pub ambiance that I would recommend to anyone!
My group and I went past happy hour, and even then the drinks and food were moderately priced. The drinks are the usual, that is, nothing you can't find elsewhere, but some of their food is truly unique. A lot of meat-based specialties that you aren't going to find in many other generic places! The atmosphere is a bit dark, but it's really relaxing and even with large groups elsewhere, the walls can block off loud noise.
Much better food than most of the other pubs in Seattle. New menu has some great options.
We got a reservation for 9, they had the number 9 on a placemat on the table, but only put out 8 chairs.
They took forever to bring drinks.
When my friend ordered a beer with his food(not with the drink orders), they took forever to arrive, and then came 20 minutes before the food.
Food took almost 45 minutes to arrive. It tasted good, but for the price, you don't get a lot of food.
From the moment we walked, we felt welcomed. Our table was all ready for us. Then, when we wanted another location, they happily accommodated us. We had everything we needed at all times. Service was friendly and added to the atmosphere! My husband's birthday celebration was wonderful! We will go back.
Our party of 10 was well taken cared for. Our drinks came promptly, prices were decent and the food is always delicious. Fish and chips portion was huge, tasted so fresh and our server was awesome. Thanks for the great service.
Nothing beats live music, good food and great selection of beers. Check out the wings...big and juicy. Cool place with friendly staff.
I reserved a table for 12 to enjoy drinks and appetizers prior to an event. Our group unexpectedly grew to almost double that size and our server handled it remarkably well. She made it a great start to our night.
Terrible service. Food was good, but the waiter was stressed out. Only 4 tables occupied in our section when we arrived, however he was sweating, distracted (literally kept turning and looking behind while taking our orders), and did not return to refill drinks at all.
Food was good but not memorable.
Service was adequate.
This was a pre-US vs Panama game function, other than the customers, no one would have noticed. Staff lacked personality on this important day for US soccer.
Fado's has been the happy hour spot our group has frequented for the past few years. However, our last visit has caused us to rethink where we go after work. The happy hour menu has drastically changed for the worse, the food ordered has gotten smaller in portions, and the staff has gotten grumpier. Not sure what happened, but that may have been our last happy hour visit.
When I use a service to book a reservation, I expect the restaurant to know we're coming.
And when the waitress makes a loud point of taking everyone's order in order of our location at the table, I expect her to write down who ordered what. There should be no reason to hold up every entree as it arrives and ask who wants it. that was unnecessary and disruptive to our work lunch.
Won't be coming back.
