The restaurant had gone out of business and open table was not aware of it!!!!
It a B rated place to begin with. Open tabs should NOT be their sponsors!!!

I'm a little confused by the reviews as this was a little like Twin Peaks. It must have been an off day. The bread rolls were like hockey pucks (they didn't rise) so rather than serve them and have every table complain, why not run down the street and buy some rolls to serve. Wine bottle we ordered (from a very limited list) was corked and they exchanged that with no issue so a plus mark. Food was fair. Service is a little confusing; you get assigned a server who takes your order but the owners seem to want to intercept her when she is delivering your order and take over. It was all a little surreal.

We made a reservation for six people on OT and we showed up at the restaurant to find out that they decided to close on Monday nights. They left a sign in the window. No one from OT or the restaurant ever called to tell us. Six people all drove pretty far to meet at a place that was closed and rudely decided not to tell its customers. Unfortunate and we select from the hundreds of other very good Italian bistros in the area. Not a cool way to treat your guests.

Nice clean restaurant pretty decor the person at the door was very polite greeted us nicely but the way that was just awful she was behind the bar and very unattended she was more interested in flirting with one person that was seated at the bar. We didn't get our drinks until after the appetizers came at the same time that our entrees came and then our refills sat empty it was just awful we decided to leave without eating we boxed everything and left

The menu at restaurant and what is online are completely different. Many favorites were taken out, bar only has wine and beer now. Would not go back.

I grew up within a quarter mile of Fab's...long before it existed. For years, driving past it, for some reason I thought it was perhaps one step above a coffee house. No - I have no idea why! Well, when my friend took me there during the holidays last year, I fell in love with the place. It's very pretty - warm, woodsy colors, lots of high-backed booths, which provide privacy and cut the noise level to a gentle murmur - and the service was friendly and efficient. It was the food, however, that sold me! An eight-dollar bowl of escarole and white bean soup was huge and a full meal in itself. I only ate half, because it was followed by a favorite dish: saltimbocca. Scrumptious! I just took another pal and the experience was the same.

I really liked eating at Fabs. I thought everyone's food was great, except mine. I ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was very dry. I didn't taste the eggplant, just the breadcrumbs. My husband and daughter's entrees were delicious. We would definitely eat there again.

I've been to Fabs a couple of times now and I can say that every time my wife and I have gone, the service is great and the food even better. Amazing Italian food. The Baked Rigatoni is delicious. The staff is very friendly and the servers have a great attitude and somehow always get us to buy dessert! I love this place.

The food is consistently delicious (portions are very generous and I usually end up taking half home), staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is always fun. Reservations are necessary on Friday and Saturday.

We treated our friends for dinner at this place and were very embarrased at the quality of food and service. Appetizers we ordered: Artichokes- good, Calamari- fair (dipping sauce wasn't good), Bruchetta- lacked basil. Entree's- Shrimp Risotto- came out undercooked, we sent it back, came back still undercooked..embarassing. Chicken Marsala & Chicken Picatta- both entress the chicken was like rubber, like it was microwaved. Cioppino- my husband wouldn't comment, which means it wasn't good. I am shocked at the poor quality of food and service.

Went to Fabs for New Year's Eve dinner.... food as always was terrific ... GREAT steak special... and service was good.....they do NOT have an alcohol license so couldn't have a mixed drink.... So, we opted for wine and they had little to no choices.... 3 choices for white and about the same for red... and not really a choice.... we had to have the ONE cabernet they had... or nothing! Hope they fix this soon.

We stopped I craving Italian food while on a road trip and this place exceeded expectations. Quick and friendly service from the hostess and wait staff, and everything we ordered came out in a very reasonable time. Everything that the 5 of us ordered was delicious and cooked just right.

If you want good Italian food, this place hits the mark!

I went with my mom and daughter. A couple of mishaps started us off - the fryer wasn't working, no big deal and then they only had a choice of two white wines, neither one being my favorite, or even close. Need a bigger white wine list! The service was great and friendly, the food was yummy - the bread amazing! Portions great size, we all took something home. I would definitely go again as would my mom and daughter.
