We had a great meal. We were a little disappointed that they didn’t have a cocktail menu but Nori made us some of the best drinks we’ve ever had!
Great food!! Service was top notch
Great experience from start to finish. The very friendly chef made the rounds.
Atmosphere excellent, food even better!
Don't skip the chocolate lava cake.
My wife and I have been to Fabio Cucina two times in last three months on regular visits to NYC. We have stayed in the general area for many months as we have regularly doctor visits and have eaten at many venues.
We tend to eat earlier (6PM) than most.
We really enjoy everything about Facio Cucina. The hostess welcomes us at the door and sees to our every need. The waiters are excellent and can explain everything on the menu and off the menu. The background music is a mix of classic romantic songs in Italian and English (related to Italy). So relaxing after a long day.
The menu has everything and while we have sampled only a portion (several risottos and lobster with inked pasta on spicy red sauce), we look forward to expanding our menu repertoire.
I would recommend that people seriously consider a journey to near the corner of 52nd and 3rd to have a really nice meal. (please see the pictures on their website.)
The food and service was amazing! One of the best dinning experiences I've had in NYC! The food was fresh and everything we ordered was great! All staff was warm welcoming and attentive. We will without a doubt return to this establishment and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing meal!
A lovely little golden nugget in NYC. Excellent food and ambiance
Incredible tasty Italian delights with fresh ingredients. Eclectic wine menu.
The bronzini was excellent, cooked to perfection. The orecchite alle cime di rapa was really tasty.
The Chef introduced himself as he toured the restaurant and checked in on everyone's food with sincere interest.
Great food, ambiance and staff was amazing. We had a lovely table and the waiters were so attentive. Dessert was fabulous too!
Where to go for early Christmas Day dinner when you’re a visitor to town but don’t want to eat in a touristy place? Recommend you to Fabio’s for authentic Italian food, excellent service and lovely setting. We had the sole, vongole and homemade tortellini , and saved from for pana cotta (with a grappa and espresso to round it all off). One the highlights of a week of great food in NYC
The food and service was excellent would highly recommend
The food was great and the service was very good as well.
The food was great and servers are very friendly. However the organization is messy, food was being served to some and others had to wait for their dish. We had to remind the wait staff repeatedly to bring us what we ordered.
My wife spoke to the chef/owner before making the reservation regarding special offerings al la Seven Fishes for Christmas Eve. With that in mind we booked our reservation. However, when we were seated and asked to hear the fish specials there were none. We ordered cocktails and three out of four had to be remade. In addition, the martinis were served in margarita glasses!
Servers were clueless as to who ordered which appetizers and main courses. The lobster was missing from one order of pasta and had to be returned to locate the lobster. We advised the chef/owner of our complaints and he apologized for the poor service and sent us out desserts. Overall, considering the price, and our expectations based on ratings, we expected a much better dining experience.
Very good food a bit rushed to order.
A truly excellent classical Italian restaurant. the pasta is to DIE, just like the best of Milano or Rome
Very Comfortable room, quiet, you could have a business conversation at lunch at a table for 4.
We only had pasta. All dishes were well made.
Service was very professional. Friendly, knowledgable, not hovering but attentive.
This is my favorite restaurant. The food is always excellent. The prices are reasonable and the staff are warm and welcoming and very competent. Wonderful atmosphere. Great for business lunch
A real gem! Food was excellent, service outstanding. Wine by the glass limited options but very good quality. Will definitely go again.
Great food and atmosphere. The Chef makes the difference. Has a passion for what he does and it comes through in not only the food but willingness to talk to the tables and check on them. Will not be disappointed.
This place was wonderful! We had a group of 10 people and went here after seeing the Rockettes and it was perfect! The restaurant had plenty of room for us and the staff was welcoming and friendly.
Great food and service. Ask to sit upstairs if you like the noise, socials and light music. or downstairs if you want quietness.
I went with a group of friends for a holiday dinner- the service was excellent and they made sure our group had a fun night. The holiday decorations were very festive. We really liked the side room where we sat- it was quiet and felt private. My friends and I would recommend this restaurant.
Somewhat disappointing since I expected more. Waiters were not attentive and they got a few things wrong. When we walked in the bar looked like a gangster hangout. Very uncomfortable. No reason to go with so many other choices
Simply excellent !!!! The service was great. We loved the ambiance
A definite favorite in the city! Chef came out to greet us and he checked in several times during our meal. It was our server’s first few shifts at waiting tables, but he did an awesome job. Tasty food, great presentation and nice wine list.
3rd time here in a month. I think that says all that needs to be said. Found it while walking with a friend on 52nd just east of 3rd and loved it. Then went back with a group of 12. Then a group of business associates the other night. The hostess, waiters AND Chef/owner are completely awesome. And the food is wonderful. Will keep going back!!
The food was delicious. I had the salmon in caper wine sauce. My husband had the seafood pasta and my little one had spaghetti in meat sauce. The staff was very attentive and the manager came by several times.
Overrated, overpriced, and tired. I had fresh pasta, which in fact was very good. My dining companion had sole, which was overcooked and oversauced. And Crepes Suzette with Nutella and strawberries?! I don't think so.
The pasta was delicious and the staff were all very friendly! I would definitely recommend.
Great food and service. Chef was amazing with his menu and product.
2nd time going to Fabio Cucina. It was absolutely fantastic! The food and service were perfect and the menu offered lots of options. This will become a regular stop for us!
