Our family gathered for a Sunday brunch. The meal was fabulous and the service was outstanding. It’s so nice to have brunch in a place with a nice ambiance and not be rushed. Would highly recommend.

Pizza was great. Try it with the chili sauce. Egg Benny was ok nothing special. Buffalo Mozzarella was nothing special as well. The service was great. It was not busy.

Everything was great until the end. Took forever to get dessert and then to pay. My friend was insulted when the manager came to take his payment and then walked off to another table, leaving a trainee to take the payment. The manager did come back and apologize.

We love the food here, although recently my salads have been way over dressed and food way too salty. But it’s the service that is absolutely awful. Nice servers, but just to get our tea and coffee to the table took at least half an hour. Our food took another half hour and our server disappeared for long periods (maybe serving another side of the restaurant?). They forgot my husbands order and we had all finished our meals and he still hadn’t received his pancakes. This isn’t the first time either, this is now an ongoing issue we have with this restaurant. Guys please get it together before you lose us forever.

Overall enjoyed, except one thing that is a bit of disappointment.
I ordered a fish, seabream, nicely done, however deep fried bread cubes on top of the fish with no sautéed vegetables at all. I expected some of veges on the plate with fish. So I ordered separate vegetables, of course salad as well.
Fish with fried bread cubes... no no to me.

We enjoyed a late lunch at Fabricca last week. We deliberately chose a 1:30 lunchtime because a previous visit at around 12:30 proved to be too noisy for us.

Starters were Beef carpaccio and the Salumi 3 chacuterie plate. Both dishes were well presented and delicious. We followed these with the Grilled Octopus salad and the Feta Gnocci respectively. The octopus was grilled to perfection; very tender and full of flavour, while the gnocci were deliciously light and served with a robust tomato sauce.

These dishes proved to be very filling, so we didn't order desserts. Our bill came to around $100, and we believe this is very reasonable for good ingredients, well prepared and properly served.

Our leftovers were packed to be taken home, and we were given a ticket to collect it from coat check upon leaving. We thenspent 10 minutes waiting while the hostess tried to locate it. And she couldnt. The place was not busy at all, very few patrons in the restaurant that evening. She apologized and said maybe we could “ get something” next time we are here. We said we live far away. She then offered to take our contact info for the manager to contact us “when he is here”. We left the contact info, but havent heard from anyone. Terrible impression of the service.

Recently reconnected with a childhood friend I hadn't seen in years (we both grew up in Don Mills), so we decided to meet at Fabbrica to catch up over good pizza and wine.

This was my 3rd visit Fabbrica but my first time dining without Winterlicious being the main draw.

Service here is level up - from the moment you are greeted upon entering, to being seated, ordering, dining to denouement. You will leave feeling like you had just gone to the Ritz.

Having both come from birthday celebrations on opposite sides of town, my friend and I weren't looking to eat heavy. We opened our evening with a half litre of the Terre Nouve Syrah (which was wonderful), then shared an order of the insalata di Fabbrica and buffalo mozzarella to start. Our lovely server even arranged to have our shared appetizers plated individually so we didn't have the messy task of negotiating portions tableside. Disappointingly, the caesar salad was undressed on this visit. The mozzarella salad however was simply wonderful. For our entree we split the proscuitto e arugula pizza which hit all the marks for a good pizza: dough that tells a story, subtle textured crisp crust and balanced use of fresh ingredients.

Unfortunately my friend had a long drive home so we weren't able to finish with coffee and dessert. Overall an outstanding experience and look forward to visiting again.

Dinner with a friend on Tuesday night. Restaurant was not busy, great vibe and fantastic atmosphere. Amanda was our waitress. She was awesome, and so were the other servers. Fantastic service.

Pappardelle was delish but on the salty side.
I loved the mackerel, but had to order a side dish with it. they could have served it with mashed potato or brown rice, quinoa to complete it. So I had to order sauted mushrooms, which is delish anyway, though made my set very rich.
The Crostini is something to write home about. Delicious medley of pork and chicken liver pate, pickled red onion, balsamic honey, fennel pollen, orange. The toast is burnt though, so can only eat the parts that were still edible. They could have given us another one that's not burnt. Or I could have sent it back.
The Tiramisu is divine!

We were seated in the bar area instead of the inner dining room area. Probably to make sure the restaurant didn't look empty from the street.

Food was fantastic. Pasta dishes where delicious. Truffle frites were excellent.

Will go again.

Casual restaurant, the cuisine is Italian inspired, the ingredients are superb, their use better In some cases that others. The Fazzoletti with Lamb Bolognese, lasagne style, would be great, but ends up being a very heavy dish, for instance. We recommend the salmon and the octopus, though.

Excellent for Brunch, generous portions and the best pancakes I have ever had! Servers were unobtrusive but were very good with offering coffee refills. The brunch items are well worth the price.
High praise for the eggs benny, crispy potatoes and a side of crisp bacon however, the consensus was that the pancakes would be the most recommended brunch choice to friends and family. We will definitely be back.

Server was pushy not giving us time to read the menu or wait for my guest to arrive where the server asked me three times in the span of a couple minutes if I wanted a drink while I wait. Server was also wasn’t knowdkegable about the menu. And once we had paid the bill the server never returned to check up on us as we wanted to continue our night and order more drinks and dessert. Would not recommend.

Excellent food, everything was delectable. Service was not in the same arena... if our meal wasn’t as mouth watering from start to finish would probably think twice about returning. The worst combination IMO: uninterested, uninformed about menu items and only concerned with up selling.

On open table it asks if there is a special occasion. I had indicated that there was a birthday that we were clelebrating. It was not even mentioned by the server and it was this dinner was not made to feel ‘special’. Everyone agreed that we’ve had much better Italian food elsewhere as we felt the food was mediocre. It was my first time at this establishment and I had high expectations. My husband and I both agreed that it was not worth the money we paid in terms of satisfaction of this overall experience.

we had an early reservation so the restaurant was quite empty when we arrived, and we were not rushed, were seated at a booth which was very comfortable. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpful; the fish entrees were excellent. I enjoyed the Winterlicious menu. By the time we finished our relaxed dinner, the place was quite busy. I have dined at Fabbrica for lunch many times, but never for dinner and will likely return as I live near by.

I have been in Fabrica many times and I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. As a matter of fact each time was better than previous. The food is outstanding, including taste, decoration, presentation. Service is exceptional, staff are knowledgeable.
Overall, fantastic. Looking forward to go there again.
