Fabbrica Ratings and Reviews
Gave this restaurant a second try even though disappointed with the first time which was Christmas Day. It is difficult to find a venue open on that day. We were terribly disappointed but chalked it up to a holiday. We live down the block so we decided to try again . All I can say overpriced bad food with such small portions that we left hungry. Terrible terrible so dont waste your time with food. The bar area is nice so perhaps for a drink it might be worth your while.
We tried Fabbrica on a whim and it was delicious! Great menu options if you like casual delicious Italian food. I had the rice ball and meat ball appetizers, both were delicious. They have a digital menu that allows you to see photos of the food before you order, which was really cool! Would recommend for a casual Italian bite out in Williamsburg.
We went for lunch on a Saturday. It was not busy yet our server was wonderfully attentive but not overly so. She was very helpful and basically catered to us.
The space was comfortable and inviting - not what I expected from a 'factory'. The food was fabulous - from the arancini appetizers to the main dishes of Bucatini Alla Carbonara and Pappardelle Alla Bolognese. The entres were suitable sauced and cooked perfectly. We shared some house wine and it was also very good.
I've been here countless times in the past 4 years. I can proudly say I've been rooting for Fabbrica since day 1.
Really good Italian restaurant, always surprising original.
Beautiful and intelligent choice of quality ingredients, fresh pastas properly cooked, great choice of meat and fish, cured meats, cheeses and, of course, pizza.
Dessert is a mandatory course.
Food was good, but not great. Chicken on salad was "tough" and eggplant dish had a funny-tasting oil. If it was olive oil, it wasn't pure and likely mixed with colza/canola. Waitress was superb, but our oyster starter arrived after we finished our main and we were ready to leave. We were notified by the owner(?) that they were running behind, but they should have just said they were out and be done with it rather than delivering (eventually) and still disappointing. It's NOISY. The high ceilings likely contribute, but the music was too loud (and not great). I also was surprised to receive a plastic menu, like a chain restaurant. The surrounding restaurants in the area wouldn't dream of presenting themselves on sticky plastic. The design of the restaurant is very cool except I think they should remove the graphic mural (very 80's). I'd like to see this restaurant do better b/c it's a great space and location and they have so much potential!
Pastas are perfection at this restaurant. Had the bolognese (my favorite) perfectly al dente and sauce was divine. So was the limone pasta my sister got. We want early for a family meal so it was pretty quiet but I e been there at night and it has a happening crowd later on
The first time I dined here I ordered the meat rigatoni pasta and it was incredible! I love Italian food and that dish definitely hit the spot! The portion is just right. We also had the lamb gnocchi which was also delicious. Usually some places mess up lamb because it stinks but this one got it right! The second time I ordered two different kinds of pizza. The first one was with the brussel sprouts. I was not much of a fan of it, there was just too much brussel sprouts and it tasted very bland. The second pizza was with the prosciutto with the arugula. I think one pizza is enough for two to share because its pretty big. That was very tasty and flavorful! I also recommend the rucola salad if you are a fan of arugula salad, its very tasty and flavorful.
It was our first visit at Fabbrica last night. We had a delicious dinner and a great time. Very friendly staff and very attentive. We ordered the fish of the day which was a whole bronzino. It was very tasty.......grilled with potatoes, fennel and lemon. Our salads and deserts were also excellent!
I highly recommend! Will definitely return. We want to try the brunch menu next!
Absolutely the real deal as far as the menu goes. Everything was done perfectly. Portions were a great size for a date dinner (not so heavy that they put you to sleep, not so light that you're thinking about food the rest of the night). Wine list was very good and the service was great throughout the meal. Definitely recommended!
Great spot, great food!! This restaurant had spotty reviews on Yelp which I don't get- everything we ordered was delicious - would definitely come back again!
Portions on the smaller side so a good idea to order a variety. We had the arancini bolognese, rulola salad, prosciutto pizza and for entrees had the bolognese pasta & carbonara. Best was the arancini and the pizza!
We've only been here for brunch, and every time with at least 2 kids and 5 adults. We've always been accommodated quickly, and even if not, the bar is really nice. Besides that and the amazing service, the food is great and the few brunch menu is really varied, not only benedicts, french toast and burger. BUT< besides that, this is really on of the few aces around here that feels open and not crowded and tight. Totally recommend
The bar scene is really cool. The drinks are good. The food is way over priced for the poor quality and small portions. The staff is great and attentive. When they served our food we laughed because the portions were so small. We wont be back for dinner but perhaps we will stop in for a glass of wine at the bar.
I had a great time at Fabbrica over the weekend. We started with a ramp and rabbit sausage pizza that was to die for and then had some house made cacio pepe pasta alongside a lamb steak. I went out of my comfort zone a little bit with food choices and was pleasantly surprised to enjoy everything. The server even went the extra mile and paired our meal with some excellent wine.
Went here with a Gilt voucher for 12 PM brunch. The space was filled with many families and a few screaming kids. Not too annoying but also not where you would want to be for a hunogver or peaceful brunch. Our group of 4 ordered two burattas which were good, but could have come with more bread. Very plain. Two of us ordered the "Just Waffle" and it was good, but the Poached Eggs with Burrata were overcooked and completely unenjoyable. Overall, it was very bland. The coffee sizes were also incredibly small for the price and the entire menu is quite strange for brunch.
