F&D Kitchen and Bar
At F&D, it all starts by entrenching ourselves into the local community. Our philosophy is careful thought and emphasis on creating an exceptional experience for our guests.
It’s all about quality. Each ingredient made a journey before it reached the table. It is this journey, filled with dedication and passion of the team, that allow us to share our stories with each other as they should be shared: over a good meal with a good drink.
For this reason, we are committed to supporting Florida fishermen, farmers and brewers, as well as upholding a farm-to-table standard with our food. We serve only the best local fare, including coastal caught seafood, grass-fed beef, farm-raised poultry and hand crafted beers and cocktails.

Food and service was incredible. It was my first time there, but second will be next weekend. Grouper dish was cooked perfectly. I look forward to trying the short ribs.
Excellent as always. Great specials, service from Toby spot on.
Too many rules. You cannot have the bar menus in the main dining, even though the advertise these menus on a sign as you walk into the restaurant. The menu on the website & on the Open Table App does not match the items on the actual menu you are given when you arrive. Small plates & drinks were good. Main courses were subpar at best. Very disappointed. We would not go back.
No complaints everything was great
Great waiter!!! Food is definitely overpriced for what you get. At a lower price point would be perfect, but it just doesn't rise to that level. I had the lamb and was VERY disappointed in it. The ahi tuna appetizer was also probably the worst ahi tuna I've ever had.
Very limited menu. Waiter ignored us most of the time.
Reservations to celebrate my birthday at 7:30pm. Came about 15 minutes before and was seated immediately. Ordered about 10 minutes later. Still waiting on first appetizer to show and it's 8:10, so not a great first impression. I had researched the menu for two weeks trying where to decide to eat out on my birthday so I had high expectations.
So, here goes...
Pork belly was okay. I felt a little let down as I was expecting a better flavor experience.
Fried green tomatoes were delicious! Hallelujah!
Mussel pot was delicious. My oldest daughter, the mussel eater in the family dove right in and was pleased with the flavor and size of the mussels.
Deviled egg were smooth, creamy but slightly messy.
Smoked fish dip was very chunky, fishy and smoky which really didn't flow and create a smooth flavor. The topping, pickled onion, pickles, cucumber slices and bread however were tasty and fresh.
They ran out of buffalo cauliflower (which was mainly for my vegetarian daughter) so she had to reorder something else and choose the pasta which had a pleasant flavor. She also had the herb dusted fries which tasted just like your average fry, and therefore remained uneaten.
My husband had the double standard which I sampled. The beef was very flavorful and he quickly devoured it at 8:35. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy which is good but a few bites tasted very salty.
Then when it came to dessert, they were out of the milk and cookies.
Ordered the carrot cake. Okay flavor. The cream cheese icing was the best part.
So the server heard my husband wish me happy birthday and said he'd take care of the dessert. I did put that we were celebrating my birthday on the reservation request. Thank you Toby.
Paying the bill and it's now 9:15.
All in all, the food was hit or miss but if I ask my family where they want to go for dinner, this establishment will most likely not make our list. Sorry Tim.
F&D has a fantastic brunch with a variety of dishes to choose from. On the last visit I had the lamb hash and it was delicious, the two eggs on top were the perfect touch. The waiter, Noah, was friendly and prompt. Oh, and bottomless mimosas, yes please.
My new favorite restaurant! We’ve been there for brunch, lunch and now dinner....all have been excellent!
Very good service and the food was also good.
I have been to F&D twice now for brunch and once for dinner. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable on the local ingredients and menu. Plus the bottomless mimosas are a plus as well!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Lake Mary/Sanford area!
Food was off tonight.
Interesting brunch menu! Loved the decor. We will be back to try the dinner menu. Everything was impressive and delicious!
I took my dad here for Father's Day Brunch. I specifically booked prior to 11am because I know the crush that happens on holidays. We were seated immediately, and there wasn't a lot of people just yet. My mom and I ordered drinks from the bar (French 75 and a Sangria). Because it wasn't a mimosa or bloody mary, it immediately became apparent that the bar service was in trouble. They could pump out those drinks easily, but it took (no joke) at least 30 minutes for us to get our drinks. The only thing that kept us from walking out was the server who was so kind and you could tell she was flustered. Once we got the drinks, they were just okay. I ended up ordering a mimosa to compare and it was brought out immediately. Hopefully they've stocked up their bar service for holidays because the food (RICOTTA HONEY TOAST - OMG!) and food service was great, and I'd go back again, just not on a busy Sunday morning.
Our daughter recommended that we give this restaurant a try which is high praise indeed as she is a very picky eater. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and nice to have fresh ingredients and local sourced where possible. Service was good, allowed us to actually have eaten some dinner before asking if all was ok. Will certainly be returning!
This was the first time my husband, son, daughter-in-law, and I had visited F&D. It is a great restaurant. The bar tenders were very friendly and gave great drink recommendations. Toby, our food server, was fantastic. He made us feel welcome and made some great food recommendations. The farm to table concept was definitely a great idea. You could taste the freshness in the meals. One of the side dishes we ordered was the rock shrimp mac n cheese. It was outstanding. We will definitely go back.
Service and food was great. Only negative is our food took about 45 minutes to arrive.
VERY GOOD BRUNCH OPTIONS, MIMOSAS GREAT, THEY KEEP YOUR GLASS FILLED. ONE OF OUR FAVORITE SPOTS!
Decor is pretty cool. Our server was Dan and he was extremely good. I had a strawberry cocktail that was amazing and we shared deviled eggs that we’re equally amazing. For entrees, a meat and cheese board that was ok and steak frites also ok. I would go back for cocktails and appetizers but probably skip the entree because it pales in comparison. Want to say again that our server Dan was awesome! Can’t say enough good about him.
We enjoyed an outstanding meal with terrific service by Sarah. When we visit Orlando again, we will surely dine their again.
Wonderful is the only way to describe it. Great food. Great drinks. Great service.
Mother's day was nice, dressed-up (though wasn't required) and still fit right-in. The rustic, yet elegant feel was an interesting mix. The chairs were very comfortable, which is Very-very rare when you order a table! Service was very good and the food even better.
Very good food, a little pricey for the neighborhood - it's located in strip mall. They do have some unique items worth a try and a pretty good wine list.
Everything was good. We didn’t realize the price for a late glass of wine was $16.00. That is my only complaint. Otherwise I will go back, but not order a large glass of wine.
The food was stunning. The happy hour is an amazing deal and we love trying tons of different small plates. The deviled eggs and honey ricotta are not to be missed. The lavender blueberry martini is also memorable. I’ve been before and will be back!
Outstanding food and service
Great service and food.!!
Service was incredible and the food was very
Good my only complaint, we ordered the buffalo cauliflower, which was excellent but very small 5 little pieces, we didn’t think much of it til the table next to us ordered and was much bigger. So wish it was more consistent. Drink selections are great.
Business lunch. Food and service is always wonderful. A great spot
Fantastic as usual!
We absolutely love this place!! Excellent service and food!! We will be back soon!
A friend and I enjoyed a great dinner at F&D tonight. Charee was a lovely attentive server. Our food was delicious. The ambience is friendly and comfortable. We were seated promptly by a friendly hostess. I love the freshness of the food. I look forward to returning here soon.
Fabulous meal! We brought visiting friends & they were also very satisfied.. Devil eggs & PEI mussels both were great, mussels cooked perfectly, tender & sweet. I had my usual, Cast Iron skillet Chicken, wonderful. Most seasoned to perfection & mash potatoes soft & yummy. Friends had Lamb shank & beef rib both really enjoyed.
I also must mention our waiter, Chang! He was the best waiter we have ever had in Lake Mary area, extremely efficient, very personable & attentive. We will definitely ask for Chang on our next visit!
Awesome service (thanks Tony) and great food. That Goat Cheese Cheesecake....OMG!!!!
Great food and service! We went for brunch and got the bottomless mimosas and our server was so attentive that our glass never even got half empty! The food was amazing and the live jazz was entertaining. Highly recommended!
Fantastic as always. I can't say enough good things about F&D. Love the menu, professional wait staff, gorgeous deserts. A must try in Lake Mary. F&D blows Fish Bones, Ruth Chris and all other Lake Mary restaurants out of the water. Try the short rib!
Enjoyed the live band...... It was relaxing and just FUN....... Kind of a "laid back" atmosphere
I've been to many farm to table restaurants. F & D is pretty average for this type of restaurant when it comes to cost. Food was ok. Service was great.
Food was excellent, but waiter was generally inattentive. Started well, but then he disappeared. Tables around us arrived after we did and one was finished before our food arrived. Finally had to ask another server to find him and ask him if he might stop by. Enjoyed the outdoor setting and food enough to give it another try.
Mom and dad night out. Waiter was excellent...energetic, happy to make recommendations, attentive. Food was fresh, farm to table, unique & loads of flavor. Atmosphere casual, contemporary.
