F & B Atlanta
F&B takes French Mediterranean cuisine to new heights, using innovative cooking techniques, top-of-the-line meat and produce and creativity in the construction of its dishes. Diners can expect a selection that blends modern French cuisine with regional fare. Both dinner and lunch menus feature selections of snacks, appetizers, hearty salads, fresh selections from the sea, savory sandwiches and innovative main entrees, as well as a unique beverage program consisting of craft spirits, beer and hand-selected wines.
Great food, bartenders, wait staff, entertainment and atmosphere. Casually elegant. The burger and fries are always fantastic.
Everything was great. The only reason I gave it 3 stars in value is because the dinner menu has petite plates for the entrees unless you order a big expensive steak. My sons ordered the swordfish special and it was one piece of fish with a few pieces of asparagus on a small plate. The food was delicious besides the size of the portions. An added note, we appreciate smaller portions. We just don’t appreciate paying so much for so little. The service was excellent.
Good food, nice wine selection and soft jazz. A relaxing atmosphere
Terrific meal, excellent service, we will be back!
For the most part, a lovely evening, although the F&B salad dressing was very disappointing....I've had much better there! May I please suggest that the server only come by and ask once if the food is good? It got to be a little "over the top" and then the manager follows up after the third time! While we appreciate the concern, it became intrusive.
Our new favorite neighborhood place.
A hidden gem ..... well worth the trip;
Lobster crepe is amazing and follow it with some octopus👍
F&B has become a favorite since we moved back to Atlanta last summer. The food is consistently good as is the service. We were delighted when Fabrice changed the menu to small plates. Claudine is always buzzing around making certain everyone is happy and content.
A friend and I were celebrating our April birthdays and our server overhead us and brought out a FABULOUS birthday desert with chocolate script wishing us a happy birthday at the end of our meal! Another neighborhood gem!
Excellent service. Delicious mussels. Atmosphere perfect for quiet conversation. Appreciated that the restaurant did not crowd diners together when they didn't need to.
The experience was amazing!!! The owner and GM made sure everything was to our liking. Definitely will be back again!!!
Loved everything. Had a great visit with out of town friends. Was quiet and we were not rushed. Enjoyed several courses of excellent food and drinks. Our server, Bomba, was a delight. Fun and very professional. We look forward to returning.
Perfect setting for a date .... great food (octopus) and service
Great flavors at this French bistro. Quality service and a chic, yet traditional ambiance. You will be served fresh bread upon sitting down. The plates are enough to fill you, but also appreciate ever bite. I chose the Veal Scallopini and enjoyed all of it.
Terrific Staff, Food and Outstanding Entertainment, With The 2 Singing -- Sammy Davis (David Williams) & Frank Sinatra (Charlie Fellingham) Impersonators !
I really like the small plate concept because my wife and I get to try a variety of things. Hits were the lobster crepe, mussels, duck breast and crab claws. Misses were the shrimp cocktail (so small, c'mon) and the escargot (big but, I have had better), although I got to use the tongs like they did in the movie Pretty Woman (slippery suckers). Some people like to share, some don't. But if you are like me and want to share, F&B is a solid choice.
My handsome husband and I had a great dinner at F&B on April 16. Our server ("B") was fantastic - genuine, low-key, and personable. The food and drinks were super tasty and we had a memorable time and will definitely return!
Service slow but fine. Food completely adequate. Great location.
Sat on the Patio. It was generally nice, but the chairs on the patio are very uncomfortable! Weird humps in the wicker and much too narrow, especially as they tapered to the back. Left me with a sore place on my thigh. And I'm not that big.....I fit comfortably in a coach seat without spilling over the sides (and they are pretty narrow). Restaurant should seriously consider swapping them for something more comfortable. Hate this new minimalist style that stresses form over function and comfort!
On to the food. It's kind of tapas style French so we tried a few things..........lobster crepe was delicious......escargot was good.......baguette style rolls were outstanding.......cheese plate was very good.......and the white bean soup was quite good as well.
On to the drinks. My date had a couple of cocktails that were quite good.....champagne and grapefruit and bitters......can't remember the name. I had a sparkling rose that was also quite good.
On to the service. In general it was decent but not excellent. The first waiter was quite nice but for some reason they swapped us to a different waiter. He was ok but not great. I wanted a sparkling rose and they brought me a glass of normal white sparkling. I had to argue with him a bit that they seemed to bring me the wrong thing and as part of the argument I had to explain to him that rouge means red in French and based on ordering a rouge sparkling I thought I was getting a rose. If you are going to be a waiter in a French restaurant you need to be familiar with all of the menu items and understand the French titles of the drinks and dishes. Part of this is on the restaurant management and part of it is on the waiter. Needs to be improved.
Great meal and service. The menu has vastly improve since our last visit. We plan to make it one of our regulars!
Somehow the food gets better and better!
Birthday celebration for our boss! Thanks for taking care of her! 😊
Great place for a work lunch. The staff was accommodating. The new host is very friendly and always greets people with a smile.
Excellent setting; ambience, service and food was excellent and Loved the portion size.... will be back soon
Great food at reasonable prices. Provides true French cuisine in the heart of Atlanta. Be careful with the French bread because once you start eating it, you cannot stop. It is served warm and you'll eat too much not leaving room for great small plate entrees. We will definitely go back many times.
It was great but was a little loud
The mussels and French fries were excellent! The rabbit was good but a very small portion. The pear tart was nice. We loved the Russian River Sauvignon Blanc We will be back for the mussels!
When you enter any place of business, it's always great to be greeted and welcomed. Apparently, this is not the case of F&B. That just soured my experience. When you greet someone and say "Good Evening, How are you ?" and they say fine and don't ask you ...that tells me reams about management etc. When you order 4 dishes to share in a "bistro" setting and they bring out everything at one time....and you question this thinking that the server should have asked or have known, when you say..."We'll leave this to the professionals" and then realizes this, and says.."let me take this away to stay warm and I'll bring back out".....perhaps some room for redemption. Zero Warmth/Zero Charm and high on price.
The ambience is very good The food I ordered was mediocre. I ordered the veal. There was no sauce. It was fried. It tasted dry. I have had better veal in a cafeteria. Very disappointed in it.
This was the strangest dining experience we’ve ever had. We had the most bizarre waiter. Horrible service. It seemed as though he was high. He would stand at the table talking to us and abruptly walk away mid- conversation. He would disappear for long periods of time. It took FOREVER for us to get our order in with him.
The food was ok. We had muscles as an app and they were plentiful...so much that we had to dump half of them out to get to the broth. The F/B salad had one artichoke sliver and 4 pine nuts. Not exactly how I pictured in my mind. Then the entrees were a small portion, which I loved. But my food was over cooked and cold. Seemed as though it had been sitting in the window a while. Of all four of our dishes one was decent.
Then we had dessert, the chocolate cake and the crepes Suzette. Cake was stellar and crepes were so terribly bad. Cold fruit inside the warm crepe. With a sauce that tasted bitter.
Then the bill came and we asked the server to split it down the middle. When we got our cards back mine was charged twice once for the full amount and once for half the amount. We complained to the manager at that point who was defending the server...she did remedy the bill..but the whole experience was a fail. Will never go back and would never recommend.
Very interesting menu. Enjoyed our selections very much. Very hard to decide. Will definitely come back.
Enjoyed our lunch very much. We have eaten dinner there but never lunch. Would do it again
Always a wonderful time at F&B. Great food, atmosphere & hosts. One of Atlanta’s gems.
Although the food looked good on the plates, every one of the items we ordered tasted bland. French food isn't supposed to be bland. I wouldn't return to come back and eat here.
Bambi was a great server. All of the food was excellent! Really enjoyed our night! Will be back soon.
Wonderful bistro with great energy!
This was my first visit to F&B. I hosted dinner for 6. The restaurant is smaller and felt more intimate than most Buckhead restaurants. The food was good, although portions are a little small. Good quality food and creatively presented. Wine list is solid with good choices at multiple price points. I'll definitely be back.
I had the Chicken Paillard with arugula and my friends has the Goat Cheese with arugula and they were both delicious. We shared a serving of French fries that were some of the best I have ever had. Staff is very attentive without hovering. Great dining experience.
Food and service are very good. And the space has a good vibe. We enjoyed it and will certainly return
