Fabulous!! Food was amazing. Service was impeccable. We had a wonderful evening.
Great to have F&B back with great food and first class service...love this lobster crepes👍
It was great to get out again and go to our favorite place! F & B was buzzing with happy vibes and great music! Food and service was outstanding!
Fabulous food and service! Try the Skate when they have it. Amazing!
Amazing cuisine and wonderful service!
Food, service and ambiance were great
Thank you for OPENING!! We truly appreciate you opening your restaurant. F&B was amazing! The service, the ambiance, the food was incredible. This was our first time dining at F&B and we can't wait to go back. The Lobster Crepe, Goat Cheese Tart and Chicken Ballotine were phenomenal. The ambiance was sophisticated yet cozy. Can't wait to go back. We had an incredible time. Thanks again F&B!
Service was very slow.
Amazing lunch, I had the lobster crepe (outstanding!!) my husband had the beef bourginon, tender and delicious, we will be back!!
The dining room is warm and pleasant. The service is outstanding. The food is excellent. Looking forward to a return visit.
There seemed to be confusion between the waiters as to who was supposed to be waiting on us, and once that was settled our waiter had tables on the far side of the restaurant and went missing for long periods of time. The scallops were delicious but the lobster crepes were disappointing as they lacked flavor.
Every bite of our several course meal was superb and our server was excellent in every way. We were confused by the "small plate" section of the menu and our waiter was key to our choosing well. He told us they were meant to be shared. He also paced our service so our choices made sense. Even with his help we noted the small plate concept was inconsistent. The skate with spinach and mushrooms was a good size for an entree and was easily shared by two people. But the duck with carrots and mashed potatoes was small for one person and difficult to share as there were 5 slices of duck breast and each person had only a bite of potatoes and a few carrots. Several other small plates sounded difficult to share (eg. Beef Bourguignon) and it was impossible to know if they were going to be large enough to be an entree for one. We decided to order one large plate, the lamb Lolly pops, and share it. This was a good plan as the serving of 6 large ribs was big for one person. There were no sides with the large plates but shareable sides are available. We have driven to Atlanta to eat at this restaurant about once a year since it was Brasserie le Coze at Lenox mall and through its iteration as FAB downtown Atlanta and with other menus at F&B. We always enjoy our meals. But we found other menus through the years to be easier to navigate.
Dinner was not on a busy night and while the service was friendly and nice, the menu is unremarkable. There are other French restaurants with better menus and better tasting food. My Beef Bourginon was not tender.
I have recently "rediscovered" F&B and their food and ambiance is very good. Should be on my regular list given I have dinner out 5 of 7 nights/week.
Great ambience, knowledgeable waiter, good food for a reasonable price. Excellent wine list by the glass.
F & B is a great place for sampling good food and having a relaxed conversation. It was lively but not terribly noisy. The menu has plenty of tempting small plates, and everything we had was interesting and flavorful. The only negative of our dinner was that a kir cocktail arrived with ice--not the French way at all. Otherwise everything was fine.
F & B was amazing! We had a reservation for 6:30, but decided to go in early for a cocktail beforehand. Masha, the bartender, was so friendly and helpful. She encouraged us to check out the bottled wine list, since they have 50% off bottled wine on Mondays. We picked a beautiful Malbec from Paul Hobbs. We had a couple of appetizers at the bar including Escargot and Fois Gras. I have always enjoyed Fois Gras seared, but they only serve it cold. The manager, Claudine, encouraged us to try it chilled as it allows you to taste all of the flavor. She was right. When we closed out at the bar, we sat in the dining room in a cozy little table in the corner. Lee waited on us. He was very personable. We enjoyed the beet salad and the chopped salad then moved on to the Skate wing and the Duck A L'Orange. The duck was the BEST I've ever had. Claudine kept checking in on us to make sure we were having a great time. We decided to get another bottle of wine- this time from California. It was exceptional. My husband is a chef and he really wanted to try the chicken that they sous-vide before frying. It was great too. The desserts were incredible: apple tart and creme brulee. Claudine encouraged us to go out on another limb and try the burrata (appetizer) as a dessert. It turned out to be one of the BEST items we tried! We loved this place so much, we plan to return on a Saturday night when they have live music. My husband and I are both in the industry, so finding a place to spend a night out that exceeds our expectations is a difficult task. F & B did this in all aspects. We will be back! (As a side note, make sure to bring a little cash to tip the complimentary valet since they are not set up to take plastic.)
Really enjoyed our time at F&B. The kareoke singer was absolutely enjoyable as he played multiple favorites of ours. Will definitely be returning the next time we are in Atlanta.
Great service and great food!
HORRIBLE STAY AWAY!!! me and my wife went on valentines day for 2020! Limited menu 4 appet, 3 entrees, and 3 desserts... prefix price of $55 per person!!!! Didnt tell you anything until you were seating down and starting to order!!!! Right of the bat after we order wine we are ready to order and they tell us there out of Creme Brûlée’s, thats 2 deserts to choose from.... apple and chocolate cake, Then the app that i order is 5 ounces of tomatoes and some raw salmon. My wife orders lobster soup that has no lobster and doesnt taste like lobster, she ask my wife if she wants raw salmon or salad???? My wife tells her no, the managers face was like “”Seriously just pick anything””” Why??? I shouldnt be force to eat anything just because you want to charge me $55 per person!!! Infuriated i tell the manager to charge me for my cup of wine and salmon so that i can leave, they bring me a receipt and i tell the waitress my wife did not consume her wine, he comes back and ask my wife if she wants a TO GO CUP FOR THE WINE! , i look at him and told him seriously!!! Take it off , i want to leave now..... Paid $29 dollars for a cup of whine and 5 ounces of nasty raw salmon with tomatoes!!!! HORRIBLE STAFF, NO APOLOGIES, PUSHING YOU TO EAT ANYTHING JUST SO THEY CAN BE DONE WITH YOU!!!!
Great food. The Valentine’s Day special had a preset menu but it was good. I did have an issue with the lobster bisque not having any actual lobster in it. But besides that the food was great. Ambiance was great. And the value was as well. Would definitely recommend
I was a little disappointed as I booked for my daughter and I as we were on college tours and she loves steak and has 6 years of French. They contacted me to be sure I was coming but did not mention a prefix menu for Valentine’s Day No steak. I wanted it to be special as we don’t travel alone much. Our waiter was lax though they were very accommodating as I was late because of of traffic took me 40 mins for a 10 min drive, Buckhead traffic was like none I’ve seen. Ambiance was great but were so set on steak. Food was good but very disappointed we were not told this.
Always have a great experience here!...food and service are fabulous...sometimes the bar is energetic, but today it was quiet, and I liked that
Nice atmosphere, average food. Would be a fun place to meet up with friends but less family friendly
Have had a great lunch here before, but this time the steak in the steak frites was just not to our liking. It was properly prepared, but the flavor just not great. Also, our waiter could have been a little more attentive. Our Salads, fries and crepe Suzette were all exceptional. It was just the star of the meal that failed us.
We have loved the changes made at this neighborhood eatery and have been coming more frequently in recent months. After our visit this weekend we will take a break and hope that the service issues can be dealt with!
Excellent food and service. Noise level way too high. Was a Friday night, so maybe other nights are better, but we struggled to hear each other unless we practically shouted, even though they seated us at a table as far from the bar as possible.
Went for my birthday lunch with coworkers. Everyone had an excellent time and enjoyed the food.
The ambiance is outdated and confusing. Not French and not modern but looked like it was from the 80’s. The bar looked nice and was well stocked and I like that they have daily bar specials. Although, it was weird having a tv at the bar playing football in a French restaurant.
I ordered the salmon special and they asked me how I wanted the fish cooked. I’ve never had that question before so we settled on medium. The salmon was mediocre without much flavor and came out raw so I had to send it back to be cooked some more. I also had the lobster risotto which also was average.
My friend ordered the French onion soup which was very sweet and unlike any French onion soup either of us have every before (including France)!
The bread was amazing and the staff circled around with fresh bread throughout the meal to offer more which was very nice.
One of the staff members (who appeared to be one of the managers) dropped off a dish at one point and the person smelt so heavily of cigarette smoke that it lingered for several minutes after they left.
Overall, it seemed overpriced and underwhelming. But maybe it was just an off night.
Excellent as usual!
NYE date. Louder that expected inside.
Neither of us drink alcohol, so ordered some “mocktails”. I think it was just OJ and cranberry juice, but pretty good. Surprised the bartender did not have anything more creative.
Our waiter must have been really busy because we hardly saw him. Drinks needed refreshing for several minutes before he materialized.
I ordered the scallops, she the veggie risotto... We both enjoyed our dishes and had tea afterwards.
Overall, a good time for NYE, and a pretty well mannered crowd.
Dead quiet for a Saturday night but excellent service and outstanding food. We will be back soon.
Whimpy at best. Horrible value compared to other restaurants in the city.
Food was very good and they gave nice size portions
