Great food, great service. All in our party were pleased with this restaurant!
Enjoyed the food but the service was a little slow, probably due to it being Easter. Brought out our main course before our appetizer, but were apologetic.
Enjoyable experience, friendly prompt service, excellent food
I love this place! Wasn’t happy with the service or food tho. Especially since it really wasn’t that busy. Had it been busier, I would have understood on the service aspect of it. Hoping it was just ‘out of the norm’ experience. I will be back!
Very nondescript looking from the outside but attractive & nice decor inside. Quite noisy and we were offered a small table in the extremely crowded front room area that didn't offer any elbow room even though we had a reservation. So we asked for a table in the back which was much better though the original waitress wouldn't change our table and we had to ask the manager to be reseated more comfortably.
The Easter dinner menu was not bad --my friend's sole dish was quite good though my rack of lamb wasn't well cooked. The soup and sauces were much too rich/fatty and the wine was too dry. I had told the waitress I wanted chianti which was not available by the glass. The dessert was okay though not great.
I realize it was a busy Easter holiday but I wasn't thrilled with my food and have had much better meals on ordinary days at ESB.
I went here with my family for Easter brunch. It's one of my favorite spots in the area. Their Easter menu was delicious. As always, the staff was great. We had a wonderful time.
Very nice ambiance and lovely service.
Everyone was happy with their meals. Gary is an AWESOME bartender! He made terrific martinis for our group.
My wine was double what I’d receive in Boston and even Waltham and half the price. Food was very good, had the stuffed sole and it was prepared well. My 5 sisters and I arrived at 6:45, got a great table, but extremely loud. We had to shout to talk to right next to each other.
Amazing food, great service, wonderful night!
it was a nice discovery to find such great place. The overall quality is outstanding. Highly recommended.
Brunch for 6. Accommodates us very quickly. Definitely suggest booking since it got busier throughout the day. It gets loud so make sure you speak up so your waitress can hear you.
The service was super slow and the food came out just luke warm.
Nice relaxing experience, good food, comfortable seating.
Have been coming here since it opened when we lived close by. Weve since moved a bit farther away but always have an amazing time and meal when we return. It's a favorite that we introduce all of our friends to. Already can't wait to go back.
Great food, perfect for a Valentine's day dinner. Drinks are delicious and strong. All around good value.
We just loved everything about our experience on Valentines Day ! We asked for and got our window seat; the scallops were succulent; the beef was so tender; both desserts were yummy.
Have no complaints .
have gone twice with my wife and both times been amazing.
The Exchange Street Bistro is a great place to meet up with friends. There's a nice varied selection on the menu. Something to please everyone.
Well done, all around.
Dined here as a party of five on a Saturday night in early February. While the food was very good, the menu is unremarkable, and cocktail offerings are heavy on martinis. We were seated at a high top next to the bar, and conversation was challenging. A quieter choice would be a front booth or table in the back dining room. Overall, a B- for overall presentation and quality. A nice meal, but nothing extraordinary.
We came here for a get-together/birthday. We had 10 people (+2 toddlers). The waitress Pia(?) was great! She attended to us and our every needs. She was great with the kids. Food was quick, hot, huge portions, and delicious; everyone loved there order. We had a birthday cake which they helped us refrigerate and divide up. Great time we all had. Definitely come if you're in the area.
Tasty food with beautiful presentation. Nice staff. Busy at the time we arrived.
Very enjoyable.
Everything and everyone were wondering. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I’ve been waiting to try Exchange St for a while, solely on their extensive martini list. That list did not disappoint. We ordered our entrees from their special New Years Eve menu, both mine and my friend’s beef tenderloin was room temperature. Our server told us if we had any questions to let him know, but didn’t really do a great job tourguiding the menu. To us, it seemed like he was cut for the evening and just wanted us to leave. He dropped the check prematurely. It was New Year’s Eve so we totally got it, but atleast wait until we were done. Would absolutely come back, but maybe just for drinks and some apps or dessert.
Always pleased with our meals here - nice variety and lovely options for special meals like New Year's Eve and Easter.
We had an excellent New Year's Eve dinner. The food and service was excellent!
We arrived at 11:15, our reservation time for 9 people and the table wasn't set up yet. Staff was friendly and set the table up quickly m. Overall it was a pleasant brunch spot. The food was good and staff was very nice.
The food and service was excellent. Great apps and deserts as well
Service and food are always on-point! The drink and food menu are diverse and anything I’ve had there exceeded my expectations - every single time! I have recommended to all my friends who have now become regular brunchers there!
The music levels were a bit too high for a business lunch. Service was terrific, both from the greeting hostess and a male server. Did not get their names, but both were spot on. The manager/owner greeted us and also thanked me as I departed. Very solid experience. Thank you.
The brunch was outstanding. I got the Breakfast Burritto, loaded with pork and eggs, with homefries
Prix fixe was excellent quality and value.
Three couples getting together once a year all had a wonderful experience. Great ambiance great food great price five star all-around
the service was very good and the food was excellent and at
an affordable price. we were a couple of 4 and we all enjoyed the experience.
definitely looking forward to coming back.
Hadn’t been there in a few years, but decided to meet a group of friends for dinner. While the service was a bit slow, the food more than made up for the minor inconvenience.
My fish was cooked perfectly and paired with a fine mix of seasonal vegetables! Others in our party opted for Short Ribs, Lobster Mac ‘n Cheese, and the Rib Eye Steak. Not one disappointed diner in a rather tough crowd of critics.
Excellent value, good quality food, with a great martini menu! Will definitely be back soon.
We've eaten here many times before. Food and cocktails were very good as expected. The overall experience this particular night was disappointing. We were seated in a small side room, where a party of 20+ had also been seated. However, they really needed a separate room to mix and mingle, since it was more of a stand-up and talk party for them than a sit down dinner. It was too loud for the rest of us to have any conversation. Bar service was also slower than usual.
Our server Irena was extremely attentive
Exchange Street Bistro always delivers in terms of well prepared drinks, delicious food, and friendly, efficient service.
