Sister restaurant of Kokkari, Evvia has been serving beautiful and elegant Greek cuisine since 1995. Fabulous fish, savory roasted meats, and sun-soaked vegetables are jazzed up with a spritz of lemon, a little olive oil, and herbs. There is perfection in simplicity.

Evvia Ratings and Reviews
I have been to Evvia many times lamb dishes are the best. This time around the octopus was not as good. I must said with many times there this time the service was the worst ...the waiter John Russell was very rushing and overall RUDE I never ever complained about any waiter services at any restaurants this is my First.
Very disappointing lunch experience. We had heard many friends praise Evvia, including some serious foodies. Overall, the food quality was mediocre to poor. The service was efficient and professional but neither warm nor enthusiastic. Ambience, however, is excellent; very cozy and chill.
Starters: Very poor. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked, hard and not flavourful. The octopus salad was bland and uninspiring, although the octopus was fresh. The squash and ricotta was dreadful- bathed in oil and not a good mix.
Mains: Two of us had the grilled Branzino, which the waiter strongly recommended. It was over cooked, dry and bland. The mixed vegetables on the plate however were tastefully sautéed.
The lamb sandwich was extremely disappointing. A tiny portion of dried up meat in a very big flatbread. We were really surprised that a place like this would serve such a concoction.
I can’t comment on the other dishes ordered although I’m afraid no one had a good thing to say about the food.
Very, very poor value for money. I hope dinner is much better.
Having been a long time Evvia fan I was disappointed in my most recent experience. I was here for a business lunch (party of 2). We did not receive our food for over 50 minutes. The waiter did not check on us during this time but when he brought the food he said it was our own fault because my dining companion had ordered lamb kebabs. The food was good but not as good as I had remembered.
My husband and I were in Palo Alto for a weekend getaway and dined at Evvia. It didn’t disappoint on any level. We had several fabulous meals during our weekend, but this was my favorite! Everything was so flavorful, the meat dishes were tender and amazing, and the atmosphere lovely. Highly recommend.
Been here several times over the years since it opened but it has almost grown too popular. The restaurant is noisy, the chairs are very uncomfortable, the tables are too close to the neighboring tables, the small plates are lacking creativity and flavor. The main menu although good is not exceptional given the price and the loud atmosphere. Its should be exceptional and it is just ok.
Kokari, which is their sister restaurant in San Francisco provides an overall better dining experience. I would rather drive the 33 miles from Palo Alto to San Francisco for a better, more sophisticated dining experience.
