   The menu is very diverse and very accomodating to dietary needs. Our wait staff was superb, very friendly and attentive. The food is very tasty and flavorful. The restaurant and bathroms are very clean. Outdoor area has a very nice ambience. All in all a very lovely experience. Parking was easy, 2 nearby parking lots nearby. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

   We enjoyed Evvia so much! We were visiting Palo Alto for my husband’s surgery at Stanford. I found this restaurant on yelp, and then I was recommended to it by a relative that lives in the area. Luis was our waiter, so attentive, friendly, and informative. The food was amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you Luis for your amazing service and thank you to the restaurant for the beautiful atmosphere and amazing food. We will definitely come back!

   Classic, traditional Greek cooking -- to me, the best in the South Bay area and my favorite area restaurant. Very popular, as it deserves -- book a table a month ahead for dinner, 2 weeks ahead for lunch.

   Surprisingly blah, lackluster flavors. Overcooked brussel sprouts. Bland halibut. Lamb chop was good. Very good strawberry salad special. But generally disappointing.

   Outstanding.. the food was delicious. I tried the Saghanaki and rib eye. Both were great. The Saghanaki is a pan fried greek cheese with species and lemon, so tasty! The rib eye was well seasoned, although I didn’t feel the meat was top top quality. In any case, everything was great, also the attention to details. 100% recommended

    We have been coming to Evvia since they opened in 1995. The food is always outstanding and never disappoints. But the service is not as attentive and they have taken away all the bar stools so you must now stand while at the bar before or after dinner.

    Evvia is our favorite restaurants in Palo Alto. The food is incredible. Every dish is as delicious as the one before. The octopus starter and braised lamb shank were fantastic. The wine list is excellent. We so enjoyed the Greek wine. Our server Vasilios made our most recent visit even better. His recommendations were amazing. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. If you haven’t dined at Evvia while in Palo Alto, you are definitely missing out on one of the best meals in town.

    One of those restaurants where I can say, "I've never had a bad meal." Indeed, it's always been excellent. The service is unparalleled -- you never have to see dishes accumulating on the table -- and since we often make our meal out of lots of apps, this can be a concern, but not here. I'm Greek on my mother's side -- this we HER favorite place too. Enough said. Will you like everything on the menu? I can't say. I CAN say it's all well prepared and authentic. And I'm coming back. (Shout out to Raphael -- great service and very personable!)

    Very comfortable vibe, we had an outdoor table, our server was very attentive and food never disappoints. This is the only place I would have lamb chops!

    I have been going to Evvia for years. And we were driving to SF from LA so I was really excited to book a reservation for dinner on our arrival. However it was an off day for Evvia that day. The food was very average. Not bad but definitely not the taste we expect from Evvia 🙁

    The leg of lamb special was dry and well done. Moussaka was very good. The butternut squash had burnt (black) cheese around the edge. The Brussels Sprouts were tasty but also a little too oily.

    I have been going to Evvia for 25 years and it remains one of my favorites. The service is exemplary, but this last time i felt the food wasn't quite as perfect as it had been. Still good, and maybe my standards have increased, but not quite what i recalled from the past

    Birthday lunch for my daughter was a special occasion that I wanted to celebrate in style, so we chose Evvia, my favorite Palo Alto restaurant. As expected, the food was delicious and service was friendly and professional. The restaurant on a Sunday afternoon was busy both inside and out, but never so noisy that we could not carry on our conversation comfortably. This is a beautifully designed eating place that never fails to impress!

    I’ve never had a bad meal here, over the last 15 years or so. Service is on point & the food is always amazing. My favorites are the tzatziki & the fresh, whole fish (branzino!). But everything is good — the shrimp appetizer in a buttery, rich sauce; the lamb shank falling off the bone; and, oh, the galaktoboureko, which is basically the Italian cannoli, but richer & more delicate. I love this place.

    If you haven’t been, Evvia is exactly what you’re expecting. The service is outstanding. The food is really good. The decor and ambiance is classy and fun. And it’s expensive. Went here for a first date and we had an amazing time. Our order consisted of: Bottle of wine, brussel sprouts and calamari appetizers, the roasted chicken & the sea bass for entrees, and baklava for desert. Bill came out to $240 after tip. You won’t be disappointed in anything. What I loved most about the experience was the casual fun personality of the servers but still outstanding service. It made our nice “fancy” dinner a lot more fun and relaxing.

    Excellent fresh sea bass from the grill, octopus and calamari appetizers were very good too. We sat outside as we had dogs. Manager and servers were very friendly and we enjoyed our lunch very much. Will be back

    I thought the food was fine. In my Greek salad the tomatoes were not ripe. The octopus was ok. I think if I go back I’d get the lamb.

    Absolutely amazing! I had the Lavraki and my friend had the Arnisia Paidakia, and they were both perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. Generous portions for both dishes. I loved the Evvia Salata, as well. Unless you are deadly allergic to something in it, you CANNOT go wrong with Galaktoboureko. Warm phyllo with the custard is a heavenly combination. Hichem was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. Will definitely visit again.
