The food was good, but not as good as previous times I had been there. Also, we were charged extra for another portion of a meal, which I will not write the name of since it is is too long to write out. Anyways... we didn’t ask for that extra portion, and were confused on why we were charged extra, until we understood that the appetizer comes in a set of two. Super pricey for small meals.
One of my favorite restaurants- always very pleased with food and service. Went her for lunch, so was fairy quiet- perfect for a business or quiet casual lunch.
Evvis is my favorite restaurant! Never disappoints. Staff is excellent and the food is always consistent! Try the Chicken Souvlaki, Tzatziki, Greek Salad and do not miss the Ice Cream Sundae.
Good lunch overall, but either appetizers or high 20s to $40 lunch entrees. No easy salad+meat/tofu protein option.
Great as always. Excellent food and service.
This restaurant has been popular for yeas and deservedly so. The food is always good , and our server Victor was fun, made good suggestions, and was there but knew to let us enjoy the meal without interruption. An all-around excellent experience.
Always a great meal and experience here, with delicious food, gracious hosts and knowledgeable servers.
Extremely loud, for a modern upscale, expensive restaurant. Appetizers were amazing but entrees lacked flavor and artistry. Service was great.
It can be challenging to get a table, but hands down the best lamb chops you'll eat anywhere in the Bay Area.
Evvia is great! Food is solid and service is great, never a disappointment.
Everything was great except the hostess was not very nice.
No info provided on the costs for the specials of the day. Beware of Sticker surprise!
Fantastic food. Especially the saganaki and the heirloom tomato salad!
It was pretty meh. Service is good but the food seems to have slipped a notch or two.
We chose this place to try new cuisine and we were glad to visit such a beautiful place. We enjoyed the ambience , service and as well the legit good. Service offered was overwhelming. Prawns was yummy and loved the mutton long chops.
It's much more than dinner, Evvia is something to experience. The atmosphere is great, the service is great, and the food is extremely good!
I love Evvia. It is my favorite restaurant...by far. The ambience is lovely. The food is truly delicious. Everyone is so nice and professional. If you are looking for a special evening, Evvia is the place to go!
Always a great experience and really the best formal lunch to be had in Palo Alto! Also a fantastic spot in the winter months with the fire going- great atmosphere!
Food was delicious, especially the lamb roast (flavorful, juicy) and the dessert! Our server was excellent. He answered our questions completely, made very nice suggestions from champagne, to wine pairing, appetizers, and dessert. He attended to our dinner at the perfect rate. A great way to celebrate our anniversary.
I love the place and the food, and the service is awesome. The noise level is not energetic, it is annoying. Tables are just too close together. We were a party of five, and it was hard for us to hear one another, even though we were almost shouting. Try to get one of the back tables against the wall.
We enjoyed our dinner at Evvia. The food was good, nice ambience and a very gracious server.
Perfect as always. Great food and wonderful atmosphere. A family favorite.
It's been a few years since I've been to Evvia, and it continues to be as good as I remember. The plates are all flavorful, and service is just as good as (or better than?) ever.
As always, the dining experience was excellent. The food was delicious; never disappoint.
I’ve been going to Evvia every time I’m in San Jose since I discovered it in 2015. The good is phenomenal, service is always stellar, and you can’t beat the ambiance. While I only get in there every couple of months, they remember me and the food and service is always amazingly consistent. I’ve brought over 2 dozen people (teammates, customers, and partners) and all rave about it. Always a great experience
And get the ice cream sundae at the end!
We enjoyed both the Heirloom tomato salad and the Evvia salad. Delicious! Also, those roasted potatoes served with both that huge rib eye steak and perfect lamb chops were amazingly good.
Delicious Greek food and wonderful service. My favorite Greek restaurant outside of Greece. The octopus appetizer and whole fish branzino are my go to dishes when I come here and they never disappoint.
Perfect! I love this place! The staff is great and the food is consistently great!
I loved the atmosphere and the service. I can tell they are very professional. Food is so fantastic.
The lamb shank was for sure the highlight. The meat was so tender that practically fell off the bone. Wine selection was good and the staff were very attentive. By far the best dinner I’ve had in the South Bay.
Best lamb chops ever! We love Evvia! The food is always amazing
Delicious food and superb service in a wonderful atmosphere
My Greek family took my Palestinian boyfriend here with us for the first time. It was the first time going out with my boyfriend and the experience was amazing! Food is always beyond my expectations and I have been here countless times. The best Greek restaurant you will find on the peninsula- hands down. Great service and incredible food. Nice ambiance as well. Will be returning soon.
For many years Evvia has always been fully booked and busy, and that is for a good reason. They keep their standards up and the food never fails to be delicious, fresh and flavorful. I end up getting in maybe twice a year and am never disappointed.
Greatly enjoyed the evening celebrating my son's birthday. Great food, good wine, friendly staff. A little bit loud though which made it difficult to have a conversation.
Best restaurant in Palo Alto. Period.
We usually do enjoy our nights here but it was an off night. Our tarnished experience was primarily due to a distracted and inattentive waiter who was not well informed and who put the neighboring tables’ wine bill on our check. When we were shocked to see our total and pointed the error out to him he seemed annoyed. There was a less than convincing apology given. I expect more from Evvia.
Made a reservation a month ago and seated 20min late. They raised Valet parking from $6 to $12 and corkage fee from $20 to $25. They didn’t lit the candle in my table. Things are getting too pricey, and the service is below the average. Food was ok, but some are too overpriced for the quality. Greek salad is almost $15 (very simple vege only salad). For lamb dishes, this is a god place, but the other food are not that special and too pricey with under-average service. We would go Adega next time. Way better service and quality.
Maria and Refet always warm, welcoming and professional! They are huge asset to Evvia. Please take care of them.
My favorite place! The food is always good and the service is great!
