About EVO Italian
EVO, short for evolution, represents a dream inspired by my mother to bring the familiar feeling of family to you, by showcasing my Italian home-style cooking from the freshest ingredients incorporated into my family’s recipes that have been passed down from many generations. My Sicilian mother and grandparents raised me to respect the heritage and tradition of the Italian culture. The draw of family brought me to south Florida where I opened Evo to continue to share my family’s secret recipes and the warmth of the Italian way of living. Through hard work and perseverance I climbed the ranks of some of the most well respected and popular restaurants in New York so that I can bring you Evo. So please come and join us. Sit back, relax and be part of our family. Evo, my dream come true!

EVO Italian Ratings and Reviews
Delicious food with fabulous, attentive service. Special surprise touches included a sparkler on top of desserts although we barely mentioned we were there for a special celebration for our guest. Considerate service and attention to your personal food preferences set Evo's ahead!
Chef Eric and server Melissa are the very best in our experiences.
Had a reservation and there were plenty of open tables when we arrived, but they wanted to seat us in a corner at the bar. When we said no they tried to seat us outside, which we also refused. The excuse was they had a lot of reservations - we’ll we were one of them. They finally sat us in the dining room. When we left there were still 6 empty tables. Osso bucco was average. The pasta dish was too heavy on pork. Great salad and tiramisu. Waitress provided attentive service.
Lovely evening celebrating husbands birthday. One can get salads in half portions so I got half of the zucchini carpaccio which was delicious and plenty to start. Can't imagine what the full portion is. I also got half portion of one of their pastas and my husband got a fish special of the night. We both enjoyed our meals. We then split the most delicious brownie dessert, which they gave complimentary for his bday. Thank you EVO for a lovely evening
As a northerner who is a foodie Evo rates at the top of all the restaurants we eat in in Connecticut, NYC, and LA We are also members of the CIA “ Society of Fellows” and highly recommend Evo to all “Fellows” Staff equals the food quality Erik has done an incredible job
We loved the bread, salad, cheese and oliveson the table. My clams and linguini were in an excellent wine sauce, pricey for what was involved. I tasted the cobra and I thought it seemed overcooked. The biggest problem was we had to keep asking for our waiter.
I would give it another shot, but the prices would be special occasion.
By far the best Italian restaurant in the area. Service & food were impeccable as usual. The veal chop was delicious: so tender & juicy. The rigatoni with Sunday sauce was perfect. The squash blossoms will melt in your mouth with the freshest ricotta cheese ever.
A real dining extravaganza!
Went with a party of 6 to celebrate a b-day. This was our second visit and it was outstanding. This place is hidden in a plaza but one you are there you are transported to south beach chic. Menu is fantastic. Service attentive and professional, while still being personable. Cant wait to go back... drove from Wellington to Tequesta... so it must be great! Keep up the high standards.
I was really disappointed as I had heard how good EVO was. It was only fair. We went with friends and all had the Summer Menu that included appetizer/salad, entree, and dessert, except one person. Three of us chose salads. When our entree came the main item was atop salad; no vegetable or starch, just salad. W thought that was strange and we would have gotten an appetizer if we knew we would end up with salad with the entree. Two had the Lamb Milanese which was very dry and the third had the Soft Shell Crab which was overcooked. The fourth had the Fillet Tips Risotto which had very few fillet Tips in it. The dessert that came with the Summer Menu was sorbet or parfait. Each meal was $45 not including drinks. That's basically for two salads and a dried piece of meat. I don't mind paying $300 for a really good meal with friends but EVO is way overpriced for what you get. We will not go back.
The ambiance: lovely: friendly greeting from hostess upon arrival.
Our server could not have been more pleasant and attentive to our every need.
the "Le Polpette Di Evo" (meatballs) were " the real deal"! My Bolognese, Mezzanine Rigatoni, outstanding. You must try there
"Agnolotti di Spinaci". half moon ravioli, ricotta Alfredo sauce. My wife and I will be back.
This was our second trip to EVO in last few weeks and we were not disappointed. The food is prepared and presented extremely well and delicious. One point that is important and overlooked in other fine restaurant is the use of white table clothes and napkins. We appreciate the care and attentiveness of the wait staff. We will be back
