Eveleigh is my favorite restaurant in WeHO. The service is phenomenal and the food is outstanding. It's also a great spot for happy hour at the bar!
Food was outstanding and served well
Place has gone downhill in terms of service. Waiting 45 minutes between courses. Told they were “out of chicken.” How is that even possible?
Good solid comfort food in great setting and convivial staff
Always have an awesome time at Eveleigh!
We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff went out of our way to make sure that it was special. We had a wonderful experience.
Great restaurant!! Highly recommendable. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. We were sat immediately even though we were 10 mins early for our reservation. Waitress and all other restaurant staff was very attentive and friendly. Every item we ordered was exceptional including the cocktails. The ambiance was really nice and was a added bonus to our dinner. Would definitely come back.
After reading the reviews I thought I was in for a great food experience. I had the kale salad which was overbearing soggy and acidic, along with an order of roasted eggplant which was small and almost tasteless. As a cook myself, if I need to ask for salt - it’s a sign the flavour is dull.
We ended off with a dessert that was no better than an unfrozen grocery option.
I’m sure if the owner/exec hire chef tasted what I was served he/she would be gravely disappointed.
The ambiance was beautiful but the food was extremely bland and unenjoyable. Don’t think I got my money’s worth for this experience.
Friendly host, had to ask to have waiter come to table, appetiser delicious then had to ask 3 times for waiter to order main and then had to wait for over an hour 1/2 for main to come, steak was over salted not eatable, salad had huge stems on leaves inedible and drenched in oil - disgusting. Manager was very apologetic sadly night was a disaster wouldn’t recommend this restaurant or the food even though the manager did his best to resolve the situation.
Love this place!
Cool little place. The food came quickly and was delicious. The drinks were strong but not too strong. Definitely a good datenight spot.
Repeat neighborhood customer.
Tuesday night private event in back; probably why the food quality wasn’t as impressive as I had raved about to my first-time guests.
I’ll be back, but probably solo for a while
Looks small at first, but actually extends further back. Nice ambience and decor. The bar location was toward the front and the counters were full. (Cocktails were very good also, and many were original).
We didn't pay attention to the wine list. The menu was simple, (which is best) and everything we ordered was delicious. The hostess and waiter were friendly and efficient. The prices were reasonable also.
The noise level was about moderate, but didn't interfere with conversation. The reservation, done through OpenTable, was honored and we were seated almost immediately. We have already recommended Eveleigh to several people, and wouldn't hesitate to return. -A. Pach
Amazing food and great ambiance. The service was average but I also understand Mothers Day is a busy day.
Great environment right adjacent to Sunset Strip. We had a great waitress and super nice. We had brunch so food was not complicated but they all tasted good. Eggs not over cooked, my lox and scramble was moist and the banana bread- if you’re not keto then you should have it. It’s the flavored butter. Heavenly. Overall a fantastic place for brunch.
We had a Mother’s Day brunch for the first time at Eveleigh with our young kids it was very nice ambiance and food was delicious would definitely go back here
Staff was very nice, ambiance was great, food was OK.
Beautiful environment - great to grab a drink at the bar ( drinks are amazing ), and spend time catching up woh friends. Food was hit or miss, nothing totally amazing and nothing terrible. I’d come back for sure for the ambiance and the cocktails and the cheese board 👍🏻
The drinks were great, The seating was terribly uncomfortable, the food was uneven- the hamburger and fries were great, but the pasta was MEH, the brownie was great but the carrot cake was not good at all. I wouldn't go back.....
The service was not good. It took over 15 minutes for our waiter to initially greet us, over 20 minutes to get our first round of drinks, and our waiter hardly checked in. We had to ask 3 other servers to find him to place our order and get our check. It wasn't even that busy. My friend is a vegetarian and asked for no bacon on her sandwich - they brought it out w/ bacon and she corrected them so they just took the bacon off her sandwich and gave it back but the bread was already soaked w/ bacon grease. The food is fine, nothing noteworthy. The ambiance is really nice - which i would say is the only reason to go.
2 or our 3 dishes were horribly over salted and the server never asked to remove the dishes off our bill although they were eaten, she did remove the lamb balls appetizer.
The plate servers throw your dishes on your table as if they are annoyed, there is no finesse
we live right down the street and that was our 2nd time in this week, but it will be our last for a very long time
i have to attend a conference there in June with a lot of important buyers, but that might have to change.
It's a real shame this happened b/c the food is normally excellent, but when you're made to feel like your lying about your food not being good, it makes you rethink a return visit.
Eveleigh is one of my favorite restaurants in LA. The staff was exceptional and took care of us from the moment we were greeted. The bartender (I don’t remember his name but he was Caucasian, red-brownish closely cropped hair and muscular) was delightful. The summer cocktail he made for my guest was perfection. Our waiter was equally wonderful, and the sommelier was quite knowledgeable. Thank you Eveleigh for another wonderful experience.
Gorgeous decor. Cool layout. Was quiet early in evening (5:30pm on Tuesday) and ramped up later closer to 7pm
Food and drinks were good but pricey. Definitely LA prices.
Service was good in general. Our server was just average personality. He could have been more upbeat and interesting but he was fine.
Excellent Sunset Blvd eatery. I have only been there for Sunday Brunch. But have gone back twice, and each time has been exceptional. The food and drinks were all amazing. I had flank steak and eggs one time, and a simple Mandarin salad the second time. Both dishes were the best of their kind I've had. Even my date's boring bacon, sausage and eggs were terrific.
Can't lose with Eveleigh.
Waited over 45 minutes for our reservation. Once we were seated no one greeted us for 30 minutes. Server apologized after taking our beverage orders because nothing came out for 20 minutes - had to reorder our coffee and alcohol because our “order was lost”. Food came out but it then took almost 30 minutes again to get our check. Had to walk in from the patio and ask for our bill multiple times from different servers. They were very busy but the service was terrible. Our brunch for 6 took almost 3 1/2 hours from start to finish - not because we were enjoying ourselves but because we were waiting to be helped the entire time.
Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in LA! Consistently amazing food every single time, friendly staff, and gorgeous restaurant!
Great service. We went on a Monday night and all outdoor seatings are full. God waitress and bus boy. Good drinks. Love the ambience. The problem was food. Fries were slightly soggy, my steak is not very tasteful and my friends pasta looks over cooked.
I would give it another try on food. Hopefully its a one time fluke.
This was a great find! Loved the food and vibe of the place. We were there on a Sunday early afternoon. Loved it, but got a little warm on the west side patio. Loved this place!
The ambiance and decor are very nice! The patio in the back is romantic. It feels as if it were in the countryside. The cocktails are good, but the food is mediocre at the most. I was quite disappointed. Given the high prices, I’d only go for a drink.
This is a true gem of a restaurant. Farm to table.. the food was outrageously good and the service was exceptional.. I would say it is a tad pricey with drinks but well worth it for something special!!
I wrote a great review on yelp!
Great customer service....
Love this place
Fabulous evening at Eveleigh, we had high expectations and even these were surpassed. Highly recommend Eveleigh for an amazing dining experience.
Our server was highly knowledgeable and very sweet. The Barista in residence makes a mean latte, the food was delicious as usual. We will continue to come back to enjoy Eveleigh and their back patio!
Love this place. Great atmosphere, service and especially, excellent food you can share with our mates.
Very cool spot on Sunset. Interesting layout, front patio, restaurant, back patio. Loved the back patio. Food was very good, had the hangar steak, cooked just right (rare). Only complaints would be, the food seemed like it took a little too long to arrive, and the table was a little too high for the seating.
Service was entirely inattentive. Took 20 minutes to get a drink for 3 at the bar following our order. Took 30 mins to get a drink after getting our (30 min delayed) table. Empty plates were left to pile on our table. Our food order took over an hour to come and then, sides (like fries) came 15 min before the main courses. Waitstaff far more attentive to off-duty staff who were visiting at bar. Food was unremarkable. Only thing that came quickly was the check. Gives the impression that owners have become comfortable w prior success and have stopped caring. Not returning.
There was a very large party seated immediately next to us that over powered our conversation and seemed to take priority of the staff
