Awesome as usual!!!
Service was below par, we waited over 30 minutes to get our first order of drinks. Waitress was diffic
They were packed and under staffed. Thankfully a new hire (first day) Daniel, took over our table and he was AWESOME, otherwise, service was fair.....they were too stretched out.
Horrible service. Would not go there again.
Had amazing service, pretty good food, but mostly the ambience was the killer part of the evening. Great for a night out with friends or a date.
We had a reservation at 7:45 pm so the bar was already getting busy. They sat us at a beautiful table between the indoor space and the outdoor space. The space is just gorgeous! We were served water right away and our drink order was taken too. Our waitress came back a few minutes later and said our drinks were behind because the bar was backed up. When she took our order she said we should also order our entrees at the same time. We felt a little rushed when she asked us to do that but we weren’t going to make a big deal about it. Good news...the food was delicious. The squid was so yummy and we fell in love with the roasted faro salad. The spaghetti with crab and lime was super fresh and light and the steak with romanesco sauce was tasty. Overall the food was very delicious but the restaurant was so busy our service suffered. Our waitress was very sweet and you could tell she was doing her best. I would definitely go back considering the space is so lovely and the food was great.
Have been a fan for some time, but a combination of surly/don’t really care service, long wait for food and really blasting music made the experience a little disappointing.
Food still great and bar staff stellar - dining just wasn’t special any more.
The food far out ways everything else at this restaurant. This was my 2nd time at Eveleigh and my 1st time experiencing slow service and crazy drama coming from the kitchen. I had guests in from out of town and I highly recommended Eveleigh. Everything was fine until we wanted service to order drinks. We had to ask the bartender to have someone come to our table and it still took some time before someone actually came. The wait staff was very apologetic, but there was clearly something off. I'm not super demanding or have unrealistic expectations, but I don't expect to hear the chef screaming profanities at the workers or yelling at the wait staff because they are asking where the dishes are they have put the order in for. It was so strange. All that to say, they food, once we got it, more than made up for the drama. I hope Eveleigh gets it together because it really is a wonderful restaurant.
I had high hopes for this spot as it came highly recommended. I ordered the Kale Salad and it was dripping in oil. I dont know if this was suppossed to be the dressing, but I couldn't eat it.
I will say I had the best Bloody Mary I have ever had in my life!
We went on a Saturday for dinner. The server was very friendly and the food was great! Drinks were decent but They do have a big wine menu which we didn’t try. I really recommend this place and will definitely come back!
Though we love their ambiance and cocktails tonight's meal and service were lackluster. Skirt steak was tough and not cooked to order. Lobster spaghettini was fresh tasting but lacked seasoning. Service was intermittent with long, unusual gaps. They were just not on it tonight. At the prices charged, it makes us want to stick to apps and cocktails here.
Beautiful restaurant and patio. Food was excellent. We sat out front with our dog and the street noise was at some times hard to talk over. That is the only issue. I will definitely come back.
It was very loud, but otherwise everything was lovely.
This was our first time dining at Eveleigh, but for sure not our last. Came down from Santa Barbara to visit a friend and decided to dine on a whim. The hostesses were so lovely and helpful (please wish our Australian friend a safe holiday back home in Sydney!), and Carmen was such a joy. Her spiel was very informative, but genuine and full of her charming personality. We love shared-plate dining, and always ask our server to recommend a few options. Everything was a hit. Can’t wait to come back!
Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our Easter a special memorable one! My two y/o and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously!!! Xo
Terrible service. We waited for our table for 40 min after having a reservation. They sat us down and we weren’t greeted for another 20 minutes. We gave her our entire order when she came for our drink order. It took her another 15 min to bring our drinks. We asked if we can get something quick because we were starving and ordered the banana bread...that got there 45 min later, right before our meal. They didn’t comp us for anything, we didn’t ask but the least she could have done was take care of the banana bread. I will never be returning!
Went for dinner. Despite having a reservation, they had no "open tables" so they seated us outside where it was too cold. When we told them it was too cold, they sat us at a table in the noisy bar. So we had to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday in the bar on stools. The good food and service didn't make up for not having an actual table in the dining area despite our reservation.
The service is absolutely terrible, the menu very limited, and we couldn’t hear each other speak.
Excellent service; everyone waiting on us were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Shared a whole baked branzino - so perfectly done and tasty. As usual, it was a delight to eat here.
The service was to slow and even though I made a reservation I didn’t get a good sit, we had to be sitted in a bad corner where the food took extremely long time to arrive, the same happened with the drinks.
The good was really good though. But I will think twice to go back there!
I love it here! Jonathan really knows how to run a restaurant.
Nice atmosphere! Great food—ricotta pancakes, yum! Winter sangria with
Blood oranges was so good!
Good food, service had some opportunity for improvement/consistency.
We were 15 minutes late for our reservation. We tried calling three times (no one answered) and left a message. The host gave away our table and told us Everleigh only holds tables for 10 minutes. . After 45 minutes at the bar and checking back multiple times, we were seated. We were in all fairness offered a table outside but it was a cold night and no one was taking that offer. The In Between Days Drinks were good. The food is good particularly Buratta & Beers and the Squid appetizers. The Hangar steak was good as well. The ambience is really good but it appeared to us that the restaurant was catering to a lot of big group celebrations and didn’t seem that interested in couples. Wish the hosts had been a little more gracious. It was a turnoff to what otherwise was a good dining experience.
The back patio is beautiful but does not have enough heating when it’s really cold out .
I enjoy Eveleigh several times a year. This past visit was also good-- but weird that the waitress served us coffee -- but didn't bring over cream nor asked if we wanted any! I had to flag her down twice because she only brought over a little tiny cream bowl, yet she knew 2 of us ordered coffee. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF TO BRING CREAM WITH COFFEE ORDERS-- IT'S PRETTY STANDARD FARE FOR A RESTAURANT!
I love this place but, sadly, our time at Eveleigh for a recent Sunday brunch was one of the worst experiences I've had there. We had a 1:30pm brunch reservation, but were told when we arrived (on time) that they were running a bit behind. Fine. My group and I waited at the bar because the cocktails and bartenders are the best part about Eveleigh anyway. We waited...and waited...I checked in several times at the host stand, and even our bartender alerted a Manager that we had been waiting a long time without us having to ask him. One hour after our reservation we were finally seated. ONE HOUR. Mind you, we saw several empty tables, but our table was still "not ready". What was the point in even having a reservation in the first place?! Once seated, the Manager came over to apologize and let us know that basically we were just "that table that simply got forgotten about." How sweet. He said he'd take care of us, but we even had to flag down our waiter just to put in apps and get waters for the table. Funny enough, the awesome bartender stopped over at our table to check in and see if everything was ok. Clearly, even HE could tell things were not going well! They ended up comping the few drinks that we had at the end of the meal which was a nice gesture. But I've never had such a bad experience there and it's very disappointing. I'll definitely come back, but maybe just for cocktails at the bar and nothing more. Apparently, the bar staff are the only ones who know what their doing there.
A rare occasion of total disaster. I love this place and come often for brunch and will come back. We had a 12:45 reservation and didn't get our food until almost 3 pm. Tables that sat after us were getting their food before us and no one had a good excuse or explanation. Totally unacceptable, but they knew it and comped the entire meal.
Cocktails were amazing.. Food was fresh and tasty! Very loud and dark, but a great atmosphere all around.
Great food and cool atmosphere. Our second visit - first just my wife and I and we had a great time. Brought the kids 11,16, &18 (foodies as well) tonight and everyone was very happy!!! We will be back soon.
Jared Levy is rocking it these days. Everything was terrific, from the Eastern Standard martini, to the cauliflower, to a perfect branzino, a killer ribeye, all prepared with precise flavors. And our sever, Megan, was enthusiastic and fun.
My wife and I went to Eveleigh to celebrate our fourth anniversary as a couple, just over six months into our marriage. We were looking for a romantic setting, delicious food, and a chance to spend time together over great drinks and great conversation. Eveleigh delivered on all fronts -- the service was friendly and attentive, our food was thoughtfully and deliciously prepared, and we enjoyed the wide selection of wines and specialty cocktails while soaking in the decor. We had a lovely evening in a Hollywood gem, and we will gladly go back for our next special occasion.
Only plus was the atmosphere
Loved everything about Eveleigh! It was all we hoped it would be and more. Tasty food, great ambiance!
Not good to bring kid.no food for kid
Everything was great! I wish there had been more crab in my crab pasta, but that’s it. Drinks were delicious. Waiter was very attentive and kind. Will definitely be back.
The country ham and bread was out of this world. Our waitress in the front not good at all. I loved everything. The food and drinks !!
Great meal! Great service!
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch with family. Service was a little slow, price was ok, food was very good, atmosphere was lovely/
Maybe it was an off-night.
The restaurant is really nice and pretty on the inside. The food was really bad. In our group we got a variety of dishes from steak to salad. Other than french fries, everything was either incredibly greasy or flavorless. It was a bummer for fries to be the best thing of all dishes.
The place is too expensive for the food to have been as tasteless as it was.
It was a Saturday night and there were 6 of us. But the service was non-existent.
Overall, everything from service to food was bland and I wouldn't go back. No reason to.
