I didn’t think the food was that great at all and for what I’m paying here I had a higher expectation from this place but very disappointed. Not coming back here again for sure
This was the absolute worst restaurant experience I’ve had in years. Avoid at all costs. Waited 35 minutes after our reservation just to be seated at 2 bistro table pushed together, both with giant chips in the top. Prior to this I asked the hostess politely if our table was becoming availed she said yes soon but it’s been really busy (fully bothered by my question) LOL, ya, isn’t this what a reservation is for??? I’ve worked in Michelin rated spots in San Francisco and NYC but am easy going until someone is rude to me for their mistake, but still I didn’t mention anything and waited another 10 minutes. We were staying at the Roosevelt Hotel and should have just eatin in. Full disclosure we just wanted something cute and casual where I could bring my small French Bulldog without hassle. After receiving a salad we split the rest of our food didn’t come for OVER AN HOUR. it was my BF’s birthday weekend and we came down for the weekend, what a WASTE of 2 hours of my life. Additionally, I made a note of his birthday on the reservation and absolutely nothing was or mentioned or done in regard to it. Absolutely terrible service, no apologies or comps, and we were super cool. In fact the waiter even overcharged us for a refill. Terrible!!!!!!
Love this place: the lamb meat balls and the fennel sausage pasta in particular are fabulous!
The ambiance is nice here. While the waiter was super nice, the restaurant seemed understaffed. I had to wait almost 30 minutes for a drink. The risotto was terrible - it was runny and the rice was undercooked. The chicken was over cooked. The lamb meatballs were over cooked. The trout dip was really good. The drinks (after I waited 30 minutes for each one) were really good.
One of my favorite spots in LA! Food, drinks, service and ambiance are outstanding. And the best music every time!
We were sat on the patio without an umbrella. My date and I both were burnt from the sun, however, the food was great.
Awful awful service - will not be returning to Eveleigh. I really enjoyed this spot pre-pandemic, but it seems different now.
The food was still pretty good - but there are many places to get good food in LA. The service was so poor and deplorable that I will not be returning to this restaurant.
The space is nice, and lovely menu. Service was a bit lackluster. Had to ask for a spoon for spaghetti, pepper for my dish, etc. lots of ask and wait, instead of a thoughtful offer for common things.
Every time I make a reservation I wait 10-20 minutes for my table
Great ambiance, friendly service, delicious food. It's a neighborhood gem 👍🏼
Service was terrible
A beautiful place. A perfect outdoor indoor dining experience.
The menu was simple but they were delicious. Wished the server checked up on us a little more.
My reservation special request (re: seating) was fulfilled, I really appreciated it! The staff were all so friendly and great, I enjoyed the food, and the ambiance was just perfect. Will be back.
Hostess was awful but waiters were great and Johnny who was the bartender was AMAZING and needs a raise!
The bartender was amazing! The service at tables was very slow and food was nothing special and super limited menu.
Great crowd and energy coming out of COVID, Eveleigh was super fun with great cocktails and food. Really nice environs, the front dining room flows out into the patio nicely.
Our server was extremely nice and receptive to our needs. The pizza and truffle fries were pretty good.
Absolutely adored this place! The ambiance and decor create the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed but delicious meal. We came for brunch, had immediate service and couldn’t of waited longer than 15 minutes for food. The chicken tenders, Caesar salad, and truffle fries were to die for. I also ordered a cappuccino that I easily could have had 3 of. Highly recommend for brunch or a night out!
Great brunch. Food was excellent and so was the ambiance. Would definitely go again.
Getting a table here in a timely manner is so incredibly rare and the waiters have so many tables the service can be pretty slow. However, everything else - the food, the ambience, the drinks, the personable personalities of the wait staff - is so phenomenal, I plan to return OFTEN. I mean the food is rich w robust flavors, the drinks are top shelf (at least the ones I order) and smooth, the fairy lights, the tables, and the views are just to die for. Love it here.
Great spot on the sunset strip. Food was beyond enjoyable. The waiters tend to come around every so often so make sure you order strategically. Will be back.
very aesthetic place to go have dinner with some friends
Overall great dining, but service is a bit slow. Takes food quite a while to get out to you after you order and although the food is good, it definitely felt a bit overpriced. Their valet was full by the time we arrived so parking was a bit of a nightmare, but the hostess was super kind when we called to say we were running a few minutes behind. Staff is very welcoming and attentive. Would probably come back as the ambiance is nice!
Always love it here!!! Bring back the maple donuts and ham appetizer!!
My second time eating here. I came back for the burrata but unfortunately it wasn’t on the menu this time around. Still there were some delicious sides to take its place. The muscles may have been my favorite dish and had we not been in public I may have sipped the leftover broth they came in. The atmosphere was upbeat but it wasn’t too loud at all. I feel like I could hear the conversation at my table and just enough chatter around the room to make it feel alive without being too overbearing. Will eventually come back but only when they bring ms burrata back!
Overall experience was great! Server seemed a little disinterested but everyone else that helped us was stellar.
Food was really good!
Loved it! Great food and sat in a cute little table on the back patio. 9/10 would recommend for brunch or dinner.
Our waiter rushed us to pay the bill. He came by our table 5 times asking that he has to close out our table. I felt that it was very rude as we were trying to enjoy our last drink and finish up what we were eating.
Our table was also at the very corner of the restaurant, shoved all the way by where people exit. For this reason, we didn't feel like we were part of the restaurant, which was upsetting.
Lastly, our table could barely hold one dish and our drinks, which was very inconvenient.
Excellent food and the server had great suggestions. Lovely outdoor patio if you have a dog. Nice view from the back room, but no dogs, not even service dogs, allowed inside. Once again, excellent food.
Always love the food and ambience.
It was great! No complaints at all. Will be back... :)
The ambiance was incredible, the food was forgettable. Not worth the price for the portions/quality of food - but know that you're paying for the ambiance/location more than the restaurant itself. Drinks were great though, so this is the spot to meet for happy hour/light bites rather than a full fledged meal with friends.
Very bad service, had to ask for our waiter several times
Consistently fabulous :-) Excellent customer service and delicious food
Yesterday was my first time at Eveleigh, and it was for Mother’s Day brunch. Overestimating traffic, I showed up 30 minutes early with my party of 5. I totally assumed I would have to wait, which would have been understandable. The hostess offered to seat us right away which was a nice surprise on a busy day with a larger group.
I worked in hospitality for many years and understand very well how difficult it is for restaurants to orchestrate brunch service for this many guests in such a short amount of time, many of whom seem to have never dined out until this moment. At Mother’s Day brunch, I normally don’t expect much; if the food comes out correctly, I count that as a win even if everything else is a disaster.
Yesterday’s brunch was exceptional. We ordered 2 banana breads and 2 truffle fries for the table followed by 2 Dungeness crab pastas, margarita pizza, soft scramble, breakfast sandy, as well as coffees and cocktails. The service was attentive, all of the food came out correctly and quickly, and everything was delicious. I was blown away by the execution by both back of house and front of house teams!
Overpriced bland food. I mean. How do you mess up a $25 margarita pizza? Clearly you can. Basically if was a doughy no crust cheese pizza with no flavor that reminded me of junior high school pizza.
Came here for my birthday... The bartender got us a good drink that had jalapeńo in it but wasn't spicy at all, good taste and refreshing.. The crab pasta is ver delicious. One of my favorite pastas so far and would definitely recommend to try.. Good service! Loved this restaurant , will return forsure.
Service impeccable. Food delicious. Atmosphere lively, trendy and charming.
Great place ! Highly recommend .
Try the grilled artichoke
