Eva is dedicated to and named after chef Charlie Perry's great grandmother. Eva Coombs passed on her respect for quality ingredients, an emphasis on the nourishing benefits of food and most importantly, the shared pleasure of eating. At Eva, our shared plates promote a communal sense of enjoyment. We have an extensive and varied small plates menu, craft cocktails and hand picked wine list.
We accept reservations up until 6:30pm and after that we are on a first come first serve basis. We are in the heart of downtown so we love walk-in traffic! We hope to see you soon!

My daughter and I dined at Eva before a theatre event. We loved the tapas style servings. It was the perfect way to each have a good size sampling of more than one dish. The lobster ravioli was probably the best we’ve had before! The Pig and Fig pizza was the perfect combination of sweet, savory and salty the chop salad (kale and apple and golden raisins) was perfectly dressed. The restaurant is simply designed, but cozy. The only negative is that it is really noisy and we practically shouted to each other in conversation. Overall, we would dine again.

Fantastic food. There were lots of choices. The server recommended 2-3 plates per person. 3 was plenty for me and my sister. The grilled asparagus and Spanish salad were our faves.

The food and service at Eva were excellent. Our favorites were the fried chicken and the Spanish meatballs but everything was very good. We will definitely return for dinner at Eva's.

Eva is a restaurant specializing in a small plate/tapas menu. We wanted to try every item on the menu but had to limit ourselves to five items, all of which were delicious. I would definitely recommend Eva.

Outstanding spot with real attention to detail and quality. You can tell the owner loves what he does and the staff are excellent. Fox tasty and genuine. European standards come to SLC .. there is hope.

Came here with a few friends for my birthday. All of the food was delicious although a little small for the price. The server was great and attentive. We never ran out of water which I always appreciate! The only small complaint is that in thr patio area the tables are a bit cramped together but besides that everything was great! I will always recommend this place!

Always a great choice in downtown SLC, menu choices for small plates is really diverse. Sticky Date Pudding dessert was excellent, really tasty and not overwhelmingly sweet.

The food was honestly incredible, very nice ambiance. Great service! Being only 2 of us, we did get squished into the middle of the restaurant next to a very loud group, so wishing we had come with 4-6 people to get one of the booths. Some plates were much larger than I expected, and some were much smaller but our waitress was very helpful in knowing how much to order. Being a tapas restaurant you expect to share plates, so consider that before planning to split a bill. I’ll DEFINITELY be going back soon.

So good! I had the Eva Steak which is always wonderful, and my date had the gnocchi, which is also wonderful. Be sure to try those dishes as well as the olives and the asparagus.

3 of 4 dishes were outstanding; 4th was still pretty good. Back room is quaint and interesting, but noisy, so difficult for conversation. Waiter brought our first 3 small plates *before* the bottle of wine. We had to ask another server for the wine, so the dishes were not ideal temperature when we were ready to eat. Small plates come out quickly, so just order as you go.

Ok, it was wonderful as always! I love the menu there, but for some reason the coke or diet coke is always off. I asked the server and they too said it happens from time to time. Way lightweight complaint, and I always recommend it to friends. Always. Love you folks, just fix the coke machine.

Ambience and service was excellent. Food was generally very very good. One downfall / slight negative was that other than the pizzas we ordered, every dish was coated in some sort of sauce. Others may like that, we just found it a bit sauce heavy.

Excellent small plates restaurant. Friendly ambience, great food. A wide variety of vegetable dishes give vegetarians much more choice than they're used to (although I think the roasted cauliflower should be mandatory for all tables, rather than a choice, it's that good). The meat dishes are hearty and perfectly prepared. There's a small but well-chosen wine list and usually a couple of special wine along with the dishes of the day. We visit Eva every time we're in Salt Lake City, and highly recommend it.
