Located in the heart of Salt Lake City’s downtown district, Eva is a beloved dining destination known for its bold Mediterranean-inspired small plates and warm, intimate atmosphere. Eva is dedicated to and named after chef Charlie Perry's great grandmother. Eva Coombs passed on her respect for quality ingredients, an emphasis on the nourishing benefits of food and most importantly, the shared pleasure of eating. At Eva, our shared plates promote a communal sense of enjoyment. We have an extensive and varied small plates menu, craft cocktails and hand picked wine list.
In addition to being a popular "pre-show" dining venue, Eva provides a "from scratch" dining experience so please plan on approximately an hour and a half for us to execute the best possible experience.
We are in the heart of downtown so we love walk-in traffic! We hope to see you soon!

                                                        We were going to try the White Horse a few doors down but the outside checkin guy was rather rude and unhelpful. Searched Opentable and Eva was almost next door. What a great find. Excellent, welcoming and friendly service. Great food and drinks. Eat at Eva’s. We will be back. So glad we found it versus our original plan.

                                                        I have been to Eva many times and it never disappoints. The food was great, especially the steak with delicious sauce. I had a manhattan cocktail and it was very well prepared. Nice job by the bartender!

                                                        Tapas were larger than expected portions. (Good thing!) Great experience and wonderful food! Server was a bit inattentive but didn’t diminish the overall meal. Had to flag him down a couple of times. Lamb chops were a bit small and underseasoned would be my only complaint. I’d definitely come back though

                                                        I travel for work every week, get to experience some great meals. This was hands down one of the best food and service experiences I have had in years. Every single dish was fantastic and our server was too notch. Can’t recommend enough.

                                                        Amazing food. I will say I have a tree nut allergy and nuts aren’t not listed on the menu. I ended up having a pretty severe allergic reaction because nuts weren’t listed in the deserts. I should have asked the server but I feel like with an allergy as common as tree nuts it should be listed.

                                                        Gehrig was amazing! Hands down my all time favorite restaurant in downtown SLC. They always impress me. The jalapeño calamari, asparagus with egg, kale salad, lamb chops, fries, Eva steak, chocolate cake and banana bread pudding!! My dad, brother and I had the most delicious dishes! We had to keep ordering it was so good! The jalapeño calamari is my new go to. The food is made to perfection. I love this restaurant because it brings people together with the small dishes on the menu, you are provided with an opportunity to share your interests with each other as you order. Thank you Eva and team for a spectacular dinner! We will be back very soon!
