Eurasia Cafe & Wine Bar - Virginia Beach Ratings and Reviews
The food was outstanding. Best filet I have had in a long time. Oysters were delicious, had both raw and fried. First server was a gentleman with rough edges. My daughter is gluten free and he seemed annoyed with that. She was very polite in inquiring about the menu and since Eurasia came out when I googled gluten free I wasn't expecting the attitude. When a very nice woman took over our table, she might have been the manager the overall experience was much more pleasant and he seemed to even improve. Also drinks can be made without certain ingredients, if made fresh.....just saying.....
As usual Eurasia did not disappoint. We enjoyed our meal and our server was terrific. Additionally, one of the senior servers recognized us and treated us like family. We enjoyed complimentary glasses of pro secco. Our dinners were really delicious, as we expected them to be! We can always rely on Eurasia for a wonderful dining experience.
It was our first visit and won't be our last. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT. From the wide variety, unique menu, vast array of wines that went on for pages, cocktails and the service (THANKS MELISSA) - it was all incredible. She knew the menu inside and out and was able to explain the menu with ease. She recommended the Shrimp and Gouda Grit Cakes. OMG. I have hated grits my whole life but could eat these regularly. The shrimp were huge and plentiful. The chicken breast special was also very good. This was a great find.
Restaurant is awesome and food delicious. They did not have any record of our open table reservation however which was surprising since I did. They were willing to accomodate us without any trouble. It is on the "elegant" side so an excellent choice for a celebration or for a special celebration. They have a room on the side which is awesome for a private dinner party.
The staff was extremely attentive, pleasant and accommodating!
The food was very good, served hot and tasty combinations.
The fried oysters were light and delicious.
The ahi tuna was sushi grade and wonderful.
The shrimp and grits with andouille sausage was very different but succulent!
We are already planning our next visit!
All I can say is that it was adequate. We thought it was a little pricey for the experience. The mussels in my Bouillabaisse were gritty and fishy, with barely a dribble of broth in the bottom of the bowl. The other seafood included was fine. My wife had a perfectly done, if smallish piece of tuna on a bed of an odd combination of vegetables (salsa-ish with cauliflower and something that looked like baked beans - apparently wasn't bad, just - odd). The waitress was pleasant enough but seemed to be in a hurry, like she wanted to turn the table over quickly. The acoustics in the room are quite lively, preventing quiet conversation.
