This is my favorite restaurant. The pepper steak, Caesar salad, banana bread, drinks and dessert are wonderful. Steak was done perfectly and the sauce is to die for. I’ve been going here for 40 years and it has never disappointed. Highly recommend!

We celebrated our 33rd anniversary! This was our first time! They acknowledged our anniversary with a sign. We loved the walnut bread. We shared the potato pancakes. My husband had the shrimp curry and I had the duck-it was delicious. After dinner we went upstairs and share a slice of their peanut butter pie and enjoyed a French press coffee. The service was attentive. The food came out quickly. It was a unique location and a wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful meal in the dining room. Our waiter was not great but his colleagues picked up the aka k to provide an excellent experience. I had the snapper and hubby had the veal special. Both were exceptional. We added a lovely Bordeaux from the wine list and skipped dessert.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new place to try for our date night. We came across this place on open table and saw that it had great reviews. The restaurant is very cute and has a homie feel to it. We were sat right by the window which was nice. We ordered the Caesar salad to share and it was the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had! I ordered the chicken for my entree and my boyfriend got there steak that is a special for them. Both of those meals were amazing! The flavor was great and they were cooked perfectly. For dessert they take you upstairs to pick from their dessert cart, we ended up getting a slice of apple walnut pie with a scoop of ice cream. I haven’t have a pie that tasted that good in a long time. Overall, I give this place 5 stars! We will definitely be back again!

What an experience! The restaurant has a very quaint atmosphere. We were warmly greeted at the door and shown to our table. Our waiter was wonderful although I’m terrible with names. I liked that we could see the chef preparing steaks and sauces. The menu has many choices, I settled on the red snapper. It was amazing. After dinner they take you upstairs to the dessert room!! So many delicious things to choose from. I got banana cream pie and my husband had cheesecake, both phenomenal! Overall a little pricey but worth it!!

Best all around meal to have in Longboat key. The cesar salad was as close to original , the pepper steak was unique. It was filled with rich spices , cloves , orange and brandy. The Madagascar steak was unique in flavor with a nice outer crunch and tender center. The mash potatoes ala tartufo were a great complement to the steak. I would recommend to visit the dessert room. My kids had a great time enjoying desserts, while I enjoyed a cappuccino and after drink.

Everything was fantastic! We brought local friends who had never been, and they thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to return with their family. Food was outstanding, and the loft is always a highlight.

Had roasted duck, veal brandy, cream spinach, mashed potatoes. All were outstanding. Pecan pie and coffee for dessert. Excellent. Will definitely go again.

First time dining here. Had heard good things about Euphemia Haye. After 2 failed attempts to dine there, we finally was able to. We were very pleased with everything and plan to return in the future. I even told a friend who wants to go when in Sarasota.

It is so nice to come a crossed a chef that knows how to prepare food so well. The lamb shank fell off the bone, but still has structure. The sauce had a depth of character and simply delicious. Then came time for the desserts upstairs! The fireworks at the end of the show thank you cannot wait for our next adventure.

Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect. In terms of hidden gems, check out the pepper steak, creamed spinach and eggplant. Wine list is solid. We went with a PlumpJack, though Cakebread and Caymus are offered as well. Bottom line … it’s a great place without equal in LBK or St Armand’s.

An excellent restaurant experience. I've never had a better ceasar salad and the lamb shank was beyond delicious. Everything in this small space is well thought out and well done. Dessert bar upstairs was an easpecially unique way to end the evening.

I was expecting a nicer area for the dessert room. The benches were horrible to sit on. Hard not secure. Waitress had no menu to look at. We went thru a walk up area that wasn’t nice with to many people in a line to look at desserts. Girl explaining could not answer a question about what a cake was made of. It seemed very tacky to walk 8 people there and try to push them all together in a small area to hear the dessert explanation. We almost left. But the 4 stayed for two coffees & split a piece of peanut butter pie.

Thank you so kindly for the feedback. We know that things tend to break down after season thus why we close for the month of September to get everything back to its working order. The charm of Euphemia Haye is keeping as it was for the last 30+ years and we know its not always perfect but, it is the same as it was and the majority of our guests love it that way. In terms of the desserts. They are different and made fresh daily and that is why the hostess walks you through them! Cheers!
