Crab Rangoons are delightful, and highly recommended. Sea urchin with squid ink is intriguing. Market location, very accessible.

Food was first rate, best clam chowder I’ve had in a long time. Crab cakes were excellent and good fish and chips! Restaurant was very noisy, not much atmosphere, but the food made up for it.

Would go back tomorrow, loved it! Though, bad room acoustics seems to be common in restaurants in Seattle.

We were a party of four. Three out of four meals were very good. The fourth meal was the rock fish. It was supposed to be 'pan seared' but was left way too long on one side and not all on the other. It was tough and dry. I would have sent it back but the presentation time was too long and I did not want wait for a replacement.

Scrumptious food served fresh and hot. Not as good of a view as I had hoped, but great location near Pike Place Market. Great brunch spot.

We started with banana bread and it was delicious. It was warm came with whipped vanilla butter. There is a kids menu that has nice options and the portions were perfect. The crab was fresh on the crab Benedict. It was a busy Sunday and we were glad we made reservations.

This is our first visit since the mandatory 20% tip. The order was taken and the food delivered. Slowly. No greeting, no eye contact, no congeniality of any form. What was good food was served warm rather than hot. This occurred even when the dinning room was not busy. The final insult was a long delay in delivery of the bill, with the required surcharge.
This is the first time in 27 years of dinning with Tom Douglas that I have left unhappy. Given the tarrif, and my limited hard earned dollars, I am far less likely to return.

We had dinner of tuna sashimi, creamy chowder, Dungeness crab salad, their salmon and a few drinks with alcohol. The food was delicious; service was slow. They automatically add 20% gratuity to all checks. The restaurant was listed as $$ for $30 & under but should be listed as $$$. Meal was over $150, and we shared the main dish. Ideal for a special occasion at a leisurely pace.

I hadn't been to Etta's brunch in a long time and had forgotten how good it was. Our eggs benedict (1 with fried green tomatoes, 1 with crab) were excellent--flavorful, but not overpowering. And our friend's corned beef hash was amazing, with large chunks of meat and nice roasted potatoes. We would go back soon.

the seafood stew was very good. at $34 I thought it was a little pricey I will say that the booth we had was ridiculously small. my client could barely get in and out. probably the tiniest table for 4 I've ever sat in

Rather than go out for a birthday dinner, I asked my husband if it could be birthday lunch. He was agreeable, and I made a reservation at Etta's, where I have enjoyed lunch in the past. It was the last day of Dine Around Seattle, or whatever the annual campaign is called, and we both chose from that menu. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was professional and friendly.

This is my 2nd time eating here. The first time was awesome. Great food and service. I came back and the food was not good at all. The grilled pork chop I had was overcooked to the point of eating cardboard. Not juicy or flavorful at all. My wife had the 'rub with love' salmon which was also slightly overcooked.

I don't know if the kitchen was just too busy or what but by the time we got seated (which was immediate) to the time we received our entree, 45 minutes had passed. 45 minutes!! How is that possible?

I DO NOT like restaurants that pre-load the tip into the bill. I will not eat there. I made an exception in this case because it was a date night for my wife and I. Never again will I eat at Etta's.

We have been to Etta's on several occasions the past few years and usually take the opportunity to dine there whenever we are in town to visit our daughter. Etta's is in a great location near Pike's marketplace and has a reputation for good food and fresh seafood. We have always enjoyed our meals there in the past and therefore continue to return. The food this visit was fair at best (Rockfish, Salmon & Ahi) and the service was fine. Also, since our last visit a year ago, Etta's has instituted a mandatory "20% service fee". I have always believed that the gratuity should be based on the quality of the service and not pre-determined by the restaurant. In asking about their change in policy, we learned that the new policy is a result of the new Seattle $15 minimum wage. In the future, we will not be returning to Etta's.

I think the reviews I read are a little bit overrated. The food was ok, we had famous salmon, it was not that. The worst part of experience was that the bill includes automatically waiter stuff fee of 20% I.e. tip. I am used to tip but I just hate that this was mandatory in this restaurant.

We had a party of six plus a toddler. Everyone seemed to enjoy their entree. I almost always get the salmon and it was very good as usual. The greens served with it were delicious. I think it might have been kale, but I'm not sure. The cornbread pudding was very good. Even though I make it at home, mine never tastes as good as the restaurant. Our server was very attentive and everything went well.

Our all time favorite place to dine near the PPM, Etta’s never disappoints! We’ve been going there since it first opened, many moons ago. I think Etta’s was Tom Douglas’ launching pad for his brilliant career in providing Seattle with fine dining. Kudos!!

We enjoyed the food and service at Etta's. Unfortunately we were seated in the "babies" section. I know its hard to take your kids out to dinner. Until kids can sit quietly at a nice restaurant, parents should not subject others to screaming. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

Following the advice of a local friend and online reviews (including those on OpenTable), we selected this restaurant. As our group was in town on business, we didn't know when we booked that it was also Restaurant Week. Regardless, some members of our party ordered off the menu and others had the 3-course menu. The only dish we enjoyed was the raw oysters. Every other dish - except dessert - was overpowered by salt. Overall, our group of "foodies" was very disappointed.

Returned to Etta's for the second time this trip. Oysters were outstanding - the best I've had so far. The salmon and the crab cakes were very well prepared and delicious. We did not stay for dessert due to the very energetic noise levels.

We chose Etta's for our 20th wedding anniversary dinner and loved every minute of it. Barbara was our server and she was fabulous. Her offer of complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate our big day set the tone for the rest of the evening and her friendliness and care for us throughout the dinner was lovely. She gave us great menu recommendations, took photos of us and we ended the night with the coconut cream pie which was simply incredible. Our table was great with a view of the sound, and the food - salmon and fish and chips - was perfect along with the wedge salad and Dahlia bread. We couldn't have asked for a better time - thank you!
