We were disappointed in the value of this restaurant. We chose it due to ratings and restaurant week brunch fixed price menu that included dessert. They said that only the evening menu included dessert.
perfect location, the food was excellent, service professional. Will refer to friends and family, looking forward to the next time.
Lasagna was disappointing not as good as previous visits great calamari and fabulous cocktails and service
Great fresh food with great gluten free options! Very authentic Italian red sauce! Staff very considerate of theater time!
Close to parking and theater!!! Excellent service and very nice atmosphere!
Was going to the theater and needed something close by. Found this restaurant on Open Table and it had very good reviews. Gave it a shot and was not disappointed. There was an issue with the air conditioning so it was a bit warmer than I like, but managable. Staff was nice and very sensitive to our schedule as we needed to make the show on time. Food was tasty and well presented. Fair pricing for the area. I would definitely recommend and will be back.
While the food was above average they did mess up my order for Risotto with mushrooms and by the time I got the mushrooms my family had finished eating. Why does it take 20 minutes to do up some mushrooms on the side? Price is average but very convenient to Broadway. Decor is nice. If you need to eat a good meal and need to stay in the area I would give them another try but considering it's New York there are other places I would go first.
Food was delicious and will be returning again soon. Service was outstanding also
Trendy-ish decor and good service but that’s it. Food was terrible. My pasta was steaming hot way after it was served, indicative of being heated up in a microwave. Lobster pieces were so over cooked they were chewy and almost inedible. I’d recommend this place if you want to pay $30+ for a bowl of pasta that has been frozen, thrown in a microwave and put on your plate.
The food here is good. Service is with a smile but seemingly insincere. Menu selection is a bit forced to the gourmet side, but basically riffs on standards. I could either recommend or not recommended depending on what one is looking for. There are so many choices in this area that I can't say it deserves the highest rating
Tried this restaurant for first time during NYC restaurant weeks. Food was delicious. Service great. Nice wine too. Definitely going back soon!
Just amazing! I go here every time I am in the city. The staff are great and the owner is the best!
Etc is my go to for dinner our or a special occasion.
One of the great hidden treasures of the Theater District. Always a great vibe. And truly authentic Italian cuisine with a flair.
Fantastic place, so happy i recently discovered this place in the theatre district. Definitely one of my new "go to" whenever I'm in the area. The service is fantastic, the drinks are strong and delicious and the food offers an array of flavors. I'll certainly return.
The waiter repeated our order correctly but brought a different dish. When I asked about it he nodded, shrugged his shoulders, and did not say 1 single word.
If fact he never talked to us at all after repeating the order.
I expected not to be charged. Instead the waitperson charged me a misc. fee of $10. for what he brought in error.
This $10 charge was for a side ‘salad’. Field greens ONLY on a plate, with some kind of dressing on the side.
There are so many things wrong with the waiter’s and restaurant’s handling of this. Hey, a missed order, no big deal. It’s what did and didn’t happen after that’s the big problem.
As theater row restaurants go, this is only average. Nothing awful but nothing special. I will not return.
This was our first visit to this restaurant. Our group of five was extremely pleased. We decided to take advantage since the restaurant was participating in restaurant week. Normally we don't go to a bit of a pricier place, but we chose a good one! Three of us had chicken, one had fish, and one had ravioli. We all had salad as appetizers. All was very tasty. The dessert was yummy. We will be back.
Always easily accommodates gluten and daily allergies. Never a bad experience.
Excellent gluten free options and very knowledgeable staff about gluten free.
Wonderful meal and excellent service! Waiter, David, was truly outstanding!
We picked this restaurant for a post-theater dinner mainly because it seemed to have good gluten-free offerings (for one of our party). Our meals were delicious. I had Lemon Ricotta Gnocchi with Asparagus, Morels & Peas, which was wonderful. Another in the party had the trio of Octopus, Snapper & Shrimp which she said was very good. Be careful of the "half" vs. "full" pasta portions. Check with your server first as to the actual size/number of the "half"portion as it may be too small if you are hungry. Seating downstairs is quite close and noisy. We sat upstairs which is a bit more spacious with separate tables. Service was great. We arrived early and were seated immediately. A la carte ends up being a bit pricey; if you are hungry, the full prix fixe dinner is well be worth it at $42.
Our food and our waiter were wonderful. Would go back anytime. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we were able to make our show.
Excellent service, well prepared food, good wine and drink list. Very personable knowledgeable staff who aim to please. We have eaten there for years and keep returning. As we have Celiac Disease in our family, we need gluten free options and staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and there are several good choices. Gluten free pasta is excellent.
My husband has a gluten-free diet and the gluten-free pasta choices were AMAZING. The food was delicious and the service was equally excellent. Abby was a treat to meet. She has a great sense of humor and keeps the place running like a clock. We were thoroughly delighted and impressed with the whole evening. Close to all Broadway theaters.
The food was adequately prepared . The restaurant is not inexpensive . I would expect a higher level of preparation . I will not return.
This is one of our all time favorites in the Theater District. It never disappoints.
Stopped in at Etcetera Etcetera before going to the theater. Food was excellent and the service was great! Their braised short ribs are some of the best I’ve had! Definitely recommend eating here!
We came here at 5pm on a Tuesday pre theater based on a friends recomendation. The food was very good. Restaurant was packed by 6. They got us out on time without rushing. Service was good.
Second time there and did not disappoint! Great service with a neighborhood ( non tourist ) vibe
Easily accommodated our gluten free and dairy free needs.
Food was great, taste and presentation. We just felt a little rushed in a Saturday night when it’s really busy.
Terrific food, excellent drinks, the hostess was warm and David the waiter worked the room and gave fabulous service.
We arrived early for our reservation and the staff handled issue with grace and accommodation.
Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and overall a professional in every sense of the word.
Food was very good and exactly as stated.
Looking forward to our next trip!
We enjoyed our pre-theatre meal. The food was delicious and prepared to perfection. The service was on point. The atmosphere was good for quiet conversation.
I loved everything about my experience here. The food was great. The ambiance was exactly what I was looking for and I would come back here in a heartbeat.
This restaurant has been around for 13 years. It was convent and walkable to many theaters. Our waiter was excellent and accommodating. He did spill a drink on the table and on me without offering any compensation. He was apologetic. The highlight of the meal was the gluten free pasta, which is homemade, but the sauces were a underwhelming. We tried the red sauce and butter and sage. The waitstaff are courteous and conscientious about getting you to the theater on time if you are having a pre-performance meal. We were satisfied overall.
Pleasant restaurant with some very good dishes, a fair wine list, and nice service. The lobster in squid ink pasta is worth the trip.
Always a wonderful experience!! Great Staff, Great Food!
My only problem with this restaurant was the $25 charge for a bowl of pasta with butter. The excessive cost was for the tomato sauce on the side-this became the most expensive dinner item we ordered-for a 12yo!
Amazing food and service. Christopher is a wonderful waiter. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will return.
