Belgian restaurant that somehow managed to overcook its mussels and then served them in a completely tasteless sauce (moules au curry). The mussels were basically rubber. Inconceivable! We got the fries 10 minutes after our entrees were served, when we were almost done with our food. Our salads each were so overdressed that the lettuce was limp and soggy. The best parts of the meal were the bread and dessert. Service was a joke. For the price, you can get a much, much better dinner elsewhere.
Gran comida y excelente servicio
Food was excellent. Staff was great.
If lived closer then would be my go to place
Our waiter, kind, patient, helpful.
We had enjoyed a meal 2 years ago and felt disappointed with our recent visit. The escargot appetizer was very good. The beet salad was flat, as if the beets had been sitting in a bowl for hours before being prepped for the meal, only the feta cheese on the beets added flavor. A special for the day salmon appetizer had little flavor, despite a special sauce.
The Sauce with the Moules Mariniere, which I felt was excellent on my last visit seemed to have a less balanced taste, the flavor that came across was of a bland celery chicken stock.
Favorite place to eat for any occasion.
The food choice was limited and overpriced, the desert was good.
Great food. Stag very helpful and attentive.
Dear, We are pleased to hear that your experience at Et Voila was satisfying. We always make it a priority to present our best service for our valued customers. Looking forward to seeing you again in our establishment. Best, Et Voila’s Team
Ate outside. There were no specials for entrees but several for appetizers. The Caesar salad is always great!
Always a delight to tackle those mussels. Bu the Jack Daniels Lemonade needs to be in a very tall glass with a lot more ice as well as a twitch more of bourbon and triple sec. Not a complaint. Just a suggestion from an experienced drinker thereof.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. We definitely will return!
The menu was wonderful and the food outstanding. The only thing I did not like was my cocktail. Tito’s and tonic was nothing…no taste and questionable alcohol.
excellent belgian food! attentive prompt service, always reliable quality
The special of the day soup (Parmesan) was so different and out of this world and also had the mussels which are always wonderful with a chenin blanc. Wonderful meal. Wonderful evening.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your time at Et Voila. We will continue to give our best! Kind Regards, Et Voila’s Team
Super easy reservation and gracious follow up confirmation. Maitre d accommodated table restating away from first option.
Food was excellent, Sole and Branzino, perfectly prepared.
Unfortunately the wait service was below expectations. Waiter could m I t recall a common allergy and needed prompting at every course. Bought check to the table before asking about after dinner drinks.
Another great experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Et Voila. Our table was outside
and we enjoyed the ambiance of the street scene.
Our waiter was very attentive and brought our food in good time although I must
admit I felt we could have had a bit more space between the appetizer and the main course.
I ordered tuna tartare and beef tartare and all was fine. The french fries, as usual, were a delight!
It was my husband's birthday and our ice cream sundae came with a candle...
Nice, service very good. Tired decor
Et Voile is our family's happy spot: celebrated milestone after milestone here and has never once let us down. Terrific friendly informed servers, great wines, the mussels transport you to the best European seaside bistro!
Great place. Always excellent food and service.
We Have dined here several times. The wait staff is friendly, the restaurant is small (although twice its former size), The noise level is OK, but you don’t have a very intimate feel. The food is consistently good. We limit the two of us to one glass of wine apiece and wish that they had a better choice for Pinot noir by the glass. However, we will keep coming back.
We had a lovely outdoor lunch to celebrate our anniversary. The outdoor tables were nice and nicely spaced out. It was right next to the traffic, but wasn't that noticeable. The food, burger, fries, omelette, and chocolate mousse, was excellent. The service was good, though per usual slightly "European" haha. This is a reliably good and fun neighborhood restaurant, we will surely be back once in a while.
Wonderful food and knowledgeable/professional staff. Consistently excellent preparation of thoughtful classic dishes.
From the day they opened still my favorite. Service and quality outstanding!
One of the best bistrots in town. Excellent meal as always. We enjoyed outdoors seating on a pleasant day. Would have given five stars overall if the main course had come out for everyone at the same time. As it happened, mine came 5 mins after others' and needed prompting.
Pleasant area outdoors and reasonably good food. Had the mussels that were fresh and plentiful but the sauce was not as good as others I have had...
Food was excellent. The nettle soup was amazing! Andres cake for dessert was really good. Our server totally forgot one appetizer (my frois gras), and in general service was not very attentive. This may be because of understaffing that many restaurants are suffering from. The drinks were really good too.
This is a favorite of ours and the food is always great. It was extremely busy and the tables were close and the noise level was quite high but I think it was where we were sitting. I know they have a small interior to work with but it was very tight. I still would highly recommend this restaurant.
Another wonderful meal at Et Voila. The Floating Island dessert is a must have!
We were seated in the back room that was quieter than the bar or the narrow room. Service was efficient but not overly “friendly”. Food and preparation was very professional. Started with onion soup and my wife with beet salad (generous). Mains were beef tartare and Voila burger.
Definitely worth a visit!
We sit outside . Great service and food is outstanding.
Wine list is a bit overpriced
Baked mussels and escargots are very tasty and unique; Flemish beef stew was nicely prepared - have it with mash potato since it is a bit salty. was joyful to choose branzino.
The food at this Belgian/French restaurant has always been good. (They have one of the best hamburgers in the city.) Dinner last night was especially good. Two of us had the salmon tartar appetizer, which was excellent. I had a cold nettle soup, which was unusual and refreshing. All three of us had sole in brown beurre blanc sauce. The waiter quickly and expertly deboned the fish at the table.
Drawbacks were the outdoor dining space. Were were right next to the street, with cars passing by only a couple of feet away. The noise was high. It also began to rain just as the mains courses arrived, but to their credit, the staff quickly and effortlessly moved us inside.
I had the baked mussels, Belgian endives salad and the dark chocolate mousse. All three, without exaggeration, the best I’ve ever had.
My husband had the carbonade which was also excellent, and the Belgian waffle with berries, big enough to share, but he ate the whole thing himself.
I recommend Et Voila enthusiastically.
Excellent food. Service was OK.
Excellent experience. Everything. Food, SERVICE!, ambiance
Your chairs in the “new “ room are difficult for back problems.
Nice little street side restaurant. Food is good quality and they seemed fine honoring any special requests. There isn't a lot of food served, which is fine with me, although we didn't eat the bread and most of the frites. Liked the choice of seating outside under cover for shade even! It was also easy to park.
Very nice except the service could have been better.
Et Voila never disappoints! Consistently good food, fresh ingredients and expert preparation with attentive service.
