Such a beautiful place. Friendly and professional stuff. Love it!!! Highly, highly recommended!!!
Excellent food. Service excellent. Street parking. Largest mussels I have ever seen. Great French fries and onion soup. Profiteroles were outrageously great. Will be happy to come back.
great neighborhood restaurant, though not a "destination" restaurant. Great mussel dishes.
The restaurant was lovely-as always. My only concern was that in light of the pandemic, and it was certainly my choice to dine there, I wonder how many hands had touched the menus, wine lists-just a thought. Also-the tables were as close together as they usually are-perhaps less reservations for a while and more space between tables-just a thought. Again, I opted to have dinner there, and as always I'm glad I did!
They did a great job of handing business during the coronavirus scare. Noticeably clean (it always is but you could tell it was up a notch) and separated all guests with an empty table). We are frequent customers and wanted to help to help during this trying time. We will continue to be frequent customers. Food was terrific as always.
Eat Voila is blessedly quiet.
Our dinners were so, so yummy .... Hanger Steak with salad and fries. And for dessert chocolate mousse and cappuccino which finished our meal perfectly. Et Voila is consistently very goo yo excellent!
Staff very accommodating, helpful and attentive. Both our entrees were excellent - the mussels are the best mussels ever - so fat and tasty. I had the Moules d'Annee, which is in a endive cream sauce - sooo good. The risotto (vegan dish) was excellent. Warm goat cheese salad - a great starter and enough for two.
Sunday brunch at Et Voila was festive and relaxed. My mushroom omelet and French fries were just right, and the profiteroles were incomparable. I envy Et Voila's neighbors, who can go there often.
We were a group of 6 college friends who met for brunch before our college basketball team tournament game. We had a fun meal with a waiter who joked along with us and everyone enjoyed their food. It was mostly omelettes and eggs in other forms, but one mussels taker. One person tried the "hot" bloody mary and said it wasn't very hot since the heat is in the vodka not the juice.
Wonderful dinner of turbot with yummy potatoes and a savory pudding. Creme brûlée with pistachio cream also outstanding.
excellent as ever, Saturdays special was Casolet which for me is a real treat, excelently done
Et Voila always is an amazing dining experience. The staff is attentive without being intrusive. Helpful and knowledgeable on menu selections. The food is exquisitely cooked, creatively seasoned and beautifully displayed.
Again, I will say it's my favorite restaurant in zip code 20016! The food is always great as is the service. Plan on having the salmon when I return soon. Thank you!
Steak was sent back because chef did not cook to my friend’s request. Took their sweet time correcting order. Second time around it was served cold. Pate was billed as a ‘Special’ that evening but it was tasteless. Servers are always wonderfully attentive and knowledgeable. Mussels in curry got 5 stars but everything else seemed so so this night
The mussels are incredible--the best in the city. And the fries are wonderful too. It's a tiny place, which accounts for the fairly high noise level, but always excellent.
I would recommend the salad but stay away from short ribs.
Really wonderful French food and great service. It's small and packed, but has a great vibe. The mussels are plump and the wine is reasonably priced. Loved the sole.
One of the area’s most delightful restaurants. We are always happy to return.
Good food, excsellent service, good wine & beer list. Only criticism is that the moules mariniere (of all dishes!) did not have a very tasty broth.
Excellent food, very good wine list. Very professional staff, they explain about food and wine like real experts. Atmosphere very warm and definitely you want to go back again and again. One of my favorite restaurants in DC ❤️
Service usually exceptional. This time, waitresses were rushing us and one of them made a comment that my friends and I found to be rude.
Excellent food, attentive and efficient service; welcoming atmosphere.
We normally dine in the Magritte room where the noise level is better for my mom. That said, we love coming to Et Voila for the spectacular food, the top-notch service and the ambiance.
Loved, loved, loved the mussels. Our server was so pleasant and attentive, and we felt lucky to be in the back room (library) where we could converse with ease.
One of my favorite places. Great every time!
Excellent food and diverse selection of appetizers and entrees.
Friday lunch easy and perfect food and service
This restaurant is always excellent.
Excellent cuisine, knowledgable and professional service, somewhat cramped environment.
Lunch at Et Voila is just as delighful and tasty and dinner.
We had a lovely lunch. I loved the carrot soup and beet salad. My friends loved their omelet and onion soup. Staff are very welcoming and attentive.
I love this restaurant! Wonderful staff and wonderful food. Thanks!
A lovely evening with friends, attentive service while allowing us to linger with no rushing.
Requested a table in the new section for my BD, but we were seated in the loud dining room with the kids. Felt rushed, our check was $260 for 4 so we were not eating apps.
It’s a very homey place with excellent food. I went there for a birthday brunch and it’s was a great place.
Short rib Bourguignon was delicious. Very nice ambience, tables are a little close together though. Desserts (chocolate waffle, Alex cake) were decadent.
Vday. Wifey said Lobster was not fully cooked.
